Iconic Place
Although my stay didn’t start off smoothly due to a medical emergency involving the previous guest in my room, the hotel handled the situation professionally by relocating me to another property in a different area.
What truly made my trip unforgettable was the exceptional service. Manoj, the driver who picked me up, turned my stay into one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel kindly provided complimentary transportation and tours, and Manoj took care of me every step of the way throughout my stay in Mauritius. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made all the difference.
The staff went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience at the beginning, and I truly appreciated their efforts.
The Japanese restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Jason gave excellent recommendations, guided me through the menu, and made sure I experienced some of their signature dishes. Everything was outstanding.
The rooms are spotless, the amenities are excellent, and the overall service exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want an unforgettable experience in Mauritius. The people here are what make this place truly special.
Wonderful luxury trip
Wow what a fabulous experience at the lux grand Baie. This is our 3rd lux hotel in Mauritius and definitely the best so far. Design and room amenities were fantastic. Food and drinks were extremely good quality and the service was exceptional. We was great at Check in by Alex and he went above and beyond to look after us for our entire stay (10 days) he was so professional and helpful. Were there for a surprise proposal for our daughter who was travelling for UAE. Our only negative experience was with the events coordinator Jamie but after speaking to Gerrard on the same team he was able to help make sure the events coordinator was amazing and went without a hitch. The staff in the upstairs bisou bar were excellent with Veer being an outstanding member. He enabled us to get quick medical help for a family member, and the hotel continued to support us during their hospital stay. Special mention to the staff at cafe lux who always greeted us with a smile and a fabulous coffee. We cannot wait to return and plan to visit next June. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one

Excellent place
We had an excellent week in one of the villas at Lux Grand Baie. The villa was very spacious, the resort is beautiful and offers different restaurants and bars. The spa and the pools are amazing. Breakfast buffet had a huge variety,. One evening we had a Mauritian Buffet which was also excellent. The staff overall is very friendly. Our butler Avinass went above and beyond to help and support us and fulfill all our wishes before we even knew we had them! Thanks for a great vacation !

A little bit of heaven
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by the friendly and professional staff. Our host, Gael, made us feel at home from the very beginning. His kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism were exceptional, and he went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Gael is a true gem and a wonderful ambassador for the resort.
The resort exceeded every expectation. The peaceful surroundings, exceptional dining, and outstanding service made our stay unforgettable. Every member of staff—from the restaurants and pool to the spa and water sports centre—was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.
A special thank you to Gael, who kept us informed throughout our stay, ensured our villa was always immaculate, and delighted us with thoughtful little surprises that made us feel truly special. We are incredibly grateful for the genuine care and hospitality shown by the entire team. They created memories we will treasure, and we cannot wait to return.
