We spent a wonderful week at this resort, and everything was simply perfect. The resort is spotless, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking surroundings that make the experience even more special. What truly makes this place stand out is the staff: genuinely welcoming, kind, and always attentive. An amazing experience from start to finish. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

What’s not to like about this hotel, from the moment we arrived to be so warmly greeted to the day of arrival to departure day and wishing us to return. The whole team helps make this hotel give one a very memorable stay and we would not hesitate in recommending and staying here again.

The rooms are very well furnished and spacious with good quality soft furnishings, comfortable bed (small point but would benefit from a choice of pillows) with excellent daily cleaning.

The amenities such as beach beds beach towels, pool, sports, water activities cannot be faulted.

The main self service restaurant was amazing in every respect, shown to the table, waiter service for drinks then self selected food from many service counters all with different choices to cater for all tastes. Good quality food and very nicely presented (a personal wish was to have food slightly hotter especially at breakfast) The two al a carte restaurants are a must but book as soon as one arrives as they are extremely busy. My wife daughter and myself loved everything about our stay and would like to express our thanks to the whole team who are a credit to the hotel

We have just returned from a truly wonderful trip to the Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius, and cannot praise this resort enough. We travelled as a group of five ladies and were incredibly well looked after from the second we stepped foot on the property. This resort beautifully balances its atmosphere, making it a stellar recommendation for any type of traveller - whether you are planning a family holiday, a dream wedding, a romantic honeymoon, or a relaxing couples' getaway.

🏝️ Idyllic Beaches, Plentiful Sunloungers, & Free Watersports.

The layout of the resort's coastline is absolutely fantastic, offering a variety of distinct spots to settle down for the day. There are a couple of open beach areas with plenty of sunloungers under traditional palapas, beautifully shaded lounges nestled under the lush palm trees, and unique, sunken rocky ledges featuring permanent palapas aswell ( the pool area uses the moveable parasols). The best part? There is no fighting for sunloungers, which made our days entirely stress-free. For those who want to stay active, there are daily resort activities alongside mainly complimentary watersports if you want to try them.

✨ First Impressions & Seamless Service.

The exceptional staff completely make the experience here, and their hospitality is of a high standard. Our arrival set the tone for the entire stay: a speedy check-in, accompanied by a welcome drink and a refreshing towel to wash away the travel fatigue. The porters seamlessly took care of our luggage, delivering our cases straight to our rooms while we began to unwind.

I highly recommend booking a private executive transfer for your journey to the resort; it was smooth, comfortable, and well worth it.

🍽️ Exceptional Dining & Creative Gastronomy.

The food at Canonnier Beachcomber was consistently very good. In the main dining areas, the attentive staff were always on hand, quickly clearing tables and keeping our glasses topped up with fresh water and drinks without us ever having to ask.

The culinary standouts were the two bookable, specialised restaurants. Our meals there were always lovely. They feature full table service with beautifully presented, creative, and innovative dishes. The portion sizes are masterfully judged - sophisticated and satisfying without being too overfacing, which thankfully meant we always had room to squeeze in the delicious puddings. If you visit The Navigator do not miss the lunchtime crème brûlée; it was our absolute favourite and styled to perfection.

🍹 Bar Service & Custom Cocktails.

The bar experience was just as good, thanks to a team that ensures you never have to wait long for a refill. We have to give a massive, special mention to Vicky at the bar. He made sure we were incredibly well looked after every single night. Vicky consistently went above and beyond, remembering our preferences and expertly crafting our absolute favourite cocktails with a smile.

🐬 An Unforgettable Last Day & Stress-Free Departure.

On our last day, we booked an incredible dawn excursion to see the whales and dolphins, which was absolutely fabulous. However, it did leave us with a bit of a logistical headache trying to balance the trip timings with unpacking, packing, and getting ready for the resort's generous 12:00 noon checkout.

Thankfully, the management and front desk team had it covered. Reena, Roshan, and Anne-Marie completely took control of the situation. They managed all of our concerns regarding the timings and logistics, accommodating our needs and entirely removing the stress from our departure. Their kindness and efficiency turned what could have been a tricky morning into a beautiful, stress-free last day to remember.

This was a flawless, memorable holiday. If you are looking for a resort that delivers top-tier service, gorgeous coastal views, and sensational food, Canonnier Beachcomber is the ultimate Mauritian paradise. We will definitely be back!
