The Ravenala Attitude is a 4-star All Suite hotel, tucked away in an exotic garden between the Indian Ocean and the Citron River on the north-west coast of Mauritius.
Guests stay in spacious suites, decorated in earth tones with natural fabrics and rattan, providing a simple yet exotic island style atmosphere. Each suite is equipped with balcony or terrace, air conditioning, minibar and plasma TV.
The Ravenala Attitude has 10 restaurants, each with its own identity, mood and cuisine. Half-board guests are offered a dine around” experience in 7 of the 10 restaurants. There are also several bars for cocktails, drinks and evening entertainment.
For relaxation, there is a spa and wellness centre with massage rooms, hammam and beauty salon. Guests can relax at 2 outdoor pools or work out in the fitness centre. Other activities offered are canoeing, stand up paddling, tennis, windsurfing and aqua gym. A kid's club is available.
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport is 45 km away and airport transfers can be arranged for a surcharge.

A great stay as a family
We had a great stay at the Ravenala as a family (booked via Neilson). The hotel staff were so friendly upon arrival. With a long flight with a toddler and an older child they made us feel like nothing was too much. Overall we were really pleased with everything the hotel offered - the mix of food places to eat in, the spa, the activities, the beach / location etc were all excellent. The rooms are a little tired and could be cleaner (referring to the floors, everything else was great), but overall that is a small piece of feedback as we were really pleased with everything else. The Riviera restaurant is a must for adults - excellent quality of food and a really nice setting.
Ravishing Ravanela
It was our first time to Mauritius so we didnt realise that the hotels, in the Balaclava area are self contained resorts with not much outside in terms if restaurants, bars etc. We had booked the all inclusive, adults only section at the Ravenala and it was perfect. A wide selection of restaurants and bars was plenty for our 16 night stay. All were very good but, lunch at, O Beach and dinner at the Riviera stood out for us. Our sea view suite was comfortable, clean and spacious with a private space for our bean bag loungers just off our patio, 20 meters from the sea. All the staff were always courteous and friendly but a special thank you to Krish for the constant supply of cold drinks. Inclusive water sports are also available for those who need to work off the wining and dining. During our visit the Mauritian weather was changeable and wasn't what we expected however it was still a fantastic vacation and as for the Ravenala Attitude, I would recommend it without any hesitation.

Great hotel just turn off the high pitched bird deterrent around the pool
Beautiful resort; hotel room spot on for a family of four. Service and people lovely. The half day trip seeing turtles and dolphins a real highlight. The only issue which management need to address and have not despite discussing with them is the high pitched bird deterrent noise that ruins what should be a relaxing experience of sitting around the pool. We went to the beach instead to move away from it but it is something that would prevent me from coming back to this otherwise wonderful hotel.
Very peacefull to stay
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the service was good. The hotel was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay with our family. Thank you to the team for making our stay pleasant. We would be happy to visit again! Hats off to all the staffs....Mr Seam in mosaik resto, Mr Raja the bar manager and their staff Rajini,Ben 10 ,and Sonia. Especially Mrs mantee in the beach who look at us.

Wonderful time
We had a wonderful time at The Ravenala Attitude Hotel. Special thanks to Mathieu, Rajini, and Adhi for their warm welcome and excellent service. They made our stay even more enjoyable.
