This hotel stands at the edge of 1,000 metres of sparkling ivory sands on the north-west coast of Mauritius, in the bay of Pointe Aux Piments of the Indian Ocean. Lush gardens create the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. The hotel's 265 spacious deluxe rooms located in the main building offer views over the tropical garden, which leads to the beach and the Indian Ocean. The waves restuarant was an awesome experience..service was exellent and the staff really made our dining experience truly memorable the entire team was warm , friendly and welcoming throughout our visit . I had a great experience at your hotel. I came for my honeymoon and fortunately everything goes right . Each and every employee was kind with us. Specially the below mentioned name : Meenakshi, Aman, Baboo
They held us to discover new food and drink which other hotel do not have.

When we arrived to the hotel we were greeted by the wonderful big entrance hall and the view of the ocean. We were given an quick tour of the premises with all the restaurants, spa and pools by a lovely employee. Our luggage was transferred to our room. The room was located in the Nirvana section of the hotel and had a nice relaxing view to the east so we could enjoy the sunrise and the trees in front of the balcony. The room was very quiet and got cleaned every day. Towels and bottled drinking water were given out each day fresh. Every employee was very kind and super welcoming to us. A really big thanks to Ingrid Joyeuse who we met at archery and has been an excellent teacher communicating well with us and other guests.
All in all I would recommend the hotel to everyone, families and couples. You can spend your holiday here or use this as a basecamp to explore the island and relax after a day exploring.
Best Honeymoon in Nirvana-Area at Le Meridien Ile Maurice
We had a wonderful honeymoon at the Le Meridien! From the first minute we felt welcomed and cared for - we never had such an experience before! Our room in the Nirvana area was spotless, very big and cared for every day. Even though the hotel is very big it was always quiet in the room and the beach - perfect to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was so calm everywhere we went. It was a good starting point to explore the island, too - specially with the free parking spot. The service and the staff was exceptional! Everyone was super super nice, welcoming and tried to fulfill every tiny wish! The restaurants were very good and tried to accommodate to our needs! The activities were also varied - there we would like to give a special shoutout and a big thanks to Ingrid Joyeuse who helped us exploring so many new things - and gave us new hobby with her archery class!
All in all we'd recommend to go there (specially the Nirvana Area for couples) and would like to come back to the Le Meridien next time we're in Mauritius
