The Lagoon Attitude is located on the north coast of Mauritius in Anse La Raie, overlooking one of the island’s largest lagoons. The hotel edges a protected coast on the north side of the island and is reserved for adults only, offering a chilled seaside vibe. Lagoon Attitude is resolutely eco-committed.
Guests' looking to relax can bathe by one of the hotel's 3 swimming pools, or enjoy a treatment at the hotels Spa POZ, which offers a great selection of treatments using 100% natural – and locally made – products. For those looking for something a bit livelier, there is evening entertainment up to 5 times a week, and DJ parties including a beach part, or pool party.
There is plenty on offer at the hotel to keep you busy throughout the day including tennis, beach volley, a fitness centre, board games, and yoga for beginners. For those looking to make use out of the crystal blue waters, why not take part in a full day catamaran trip*, PADI diving*, kayaking, snorkelling, or kite surfing (nearby).
There are 182 rooms at the hotel, some with an outdoor Jacuzzi, and traditional Mauritian architecture blends with contemporary beach decor to create a paradise for nature and sea lovers. Each room is complete with free wi-fi, a telephone, electronic safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.
There is a choice of three very different atmospheres, depending on whether you are looking for fun or peaceful holiday moments. The Otentik (authentic) area with its Mauritian restaurants; the lively area with its ocean facing Seabreeze Bar; and a peaceful area hosting an infinity pool and a gastronomic restaurant. Dining here is in tune with nature, so you will find a choice of seasonal and locally grown produce on your plate. If you are on a half board basis or higher, the Dine Around experience allows you to try three out of the five hotel restaurants. The staff, known as Family Members, will go above and beyond to look after every guest throughout their stay here – they are a true reflection of warm Mauritian hospitality.
Lagoon Attitude is Travelife Gold and Made in Moris certified for its continuous efforts towards social and environmental sustainability practices. The hotel lives and breathes Attitude Hotels’ Positive Impact movement. From a ban on single-use plastics in its guest experience to its self-service Bulk Shop, everything has been thought about here when it comes to sustainability. Guests can visit the Marine Discovery Centre to learn about the lagoon and marine life conservation projects, join an eco-workshop or pick up a blue net bag to help collect any litter seen while exploring the snorkelling trail or walking along the coast.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful breakfast at Benitier
We had lovely breakfasts at Benitier Restaurant at Lagoon Attitude. The food was delicious. A special thank you to our waiter Julien, who took wonderful care of us throughout the morning. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional, always making sure we had everything we needed while allowing us to relax and enjoy our breakfast ☺️.

Honeymoon of dreams at Lagoon Attitude
We spent our honeymoon at this wonderful hotel and couldn't recommend it enough! The location of the hotel was secluded which was perfect for relaxation. The staff made our stay! They were so friendly and went out of their way to make our experience special. In particular we want to mention Ganesha, Heena, Reena + Permhal. Ganesha worked at the seabreeze bar and within 2 days knew our drinks orders, he was funny and we loved his cocktail making showmanship. Heena was great at making sure we had a drink while watching the fantastic entertainment. She was genuinely interested in getting to know us and what we had been up to during our stay. Reena at Kot Nou was warm and welcoming, she gave us the same table in the restaurant as she had remembered us. We couldn't recommend the food enough at the Kot Nou especially the Lobster night, incredible! Finally Permhal who worked in the Coral restaurant. He was welcoming and attentive, we never had to fill our own glass. The food at Coral was also absolutely delicious and we especially enjoyed our romantic honeymoon dinner. Our stay was fantastic, the views of the lagoon, the pools, the in house activities, food and drink, and our lovely room. Finally a special shout out to the house keeping team. Each day they made our bed, we loved the towel creations! On our final night, while out for dinner they put a special layout on our bed and turned on the reading lamps. It was a lovely surprise to come back to on our final night! Lagoon Attitude really does have it all and I would highly recommend to stay here!

Our union team organized our AGM together with our members on 29 August 2026.From the reservation to the actual holding of the event,everything was perfect.A very warm thanks to Kevin,the Executive Assistant Manager who organized everything to the perfection.He had at heart our comfort and interest and tried his every best to make this day a success!The service,the food, the staff and the hotel amenities!all was just perfect!highly recommended!!

Very special place
We had a really enjoyable stay at Lagoon Attitude from the end of July to mid August.
The staff at this hotel are what make the place so fantastic. There are so many people who work incredibly hard and are always friendly and helpful around the hotel. A special mention has to go to Keshwar and all of the entertainment team. Henna and Neel at the bar were kind, smiley and professional. At the pool bar, Ganesha always had a great sense of humour and Raja was really friendly and accommodating too. They all really can't do enough for you!
It's also worth mentioning everyone working behind the scenes. You see people around the hotel constantly working away, including the maintenance team, and they all contribute to making the place run as well as it does. Every person is approachable, friendly and hardworking and the hotel would not be the same without them all.
The food at the buffet was really good with so much variety. All fish and meats were really good quality and even the desserts were amazing, which is rare because at most hotels they all taste the same! The service in the restaurants was also consistently brilliant - special mention to Danush, Julian and Vinit. The whole team work exceptionally hard for you to have a good experience. The service and food at Coral and Lemongrass (two of the a la cartes) was amazing with so much choice on the menu and some delicious meals to switch up the buffet. However, the Mauritian a la carte Kot Nou was very disappointing. The food was quite poor and as the Mauritian restaurant, we expected more from it and I think it could definitely be better.
On another note, the dress code for the buffet restaurant needs to be clearer and more consistent, as it wasn't always obvious what was expected and not everyone followed the same standard (although this was never made clear). I do also feel that the rooms are a little out dated and could do with some updating, and I think the bathrooms could be cleaned a little better. Finally, I think the hotel could do with a fourth a la carte restaurant to add that extra bit of variety.
Overall, we had the most enjoyable holiday and this is truly down to the hard work of every member of staff at the hotel. So thank you very much to everyone that goes above and beyond to make this a place that really feels special to be. There are so many people who went out of their way to make sure we were looked after, and that's what we'll remember most about our stay.
