Sunny days are the norm in Mauritius, and one of the best ways to spend another day under a clear blue sky is to laze in or by the blue lagoon. But, this being Mauritius, there's a real variety in the landscape and a few miles from the beach you can go exploring in the beautiful forest reserve.

Amazing staff!
Myself and my friend had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The staff were amazing! The front desk was great from the moment we arrived especially Shania. She was really sweet and made sure we got the lay of the land as we arrived and gave us some sweet drinks and warm towels to welcome us to the hotel. My friend got unwell during our trip and they delivered food to room and made ginger tea and ensured we had everything we needed. The housekeeping, especially Sonali and the rest of her team were amazing at their jobs and really kind and thoughtful. The pool was of good size and the beach was inches away with breathtaking views.
Relaxing Holiday
A very quiet and peaceful hotel. Ideal for relaxing. Would need transport to go visiting. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant will supply gluten free bread if you ask a waiter and made a point of labelling desserts so you know which is gluten free. You just need to let them know if you would like something different and they do their best to help

A big thank you to our Jalsa Beach hotel family for another amazing stay with you. The staff go above and beyond and always have a welcoming smile and cheery hello, a special mention to Manesha, Darmesh, Vanesha, Shania and Deepa, too many others to mention but you're all great. Also thanks to Rama our rep at Mercury holidays, nothing is too much trouble. The management continue to make improvements to the hotel to make the guest experience better each year. If you haven't booked all inclusive a car is recommended as there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. A perfect resort if you don't want to stay at a large hotel where you just become another number. We're already counting the weeks until we return again next year. ❤️
