Super Shandrani!
Our family spent 7 nights at Shandrani and had a fantastic stay! The staff is both hospitable and professional, the facilities are impeccable with so many options to choose from, and the food is undoubtedly one of the highlights! Thank you to Sabitree, Sajaan, Wesley and the lovely ladies from the shop—Annabelle and Ruby. We cannot wait to return!! Tip to future guests: remember to pack your snorkeling gear and aqua shoes - you can snorkel in front of the hotel where you will find the most amazing fish and coral reef.

Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa - An unforgettable island oasis just minutes from the airport
My husband and I stayed at Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa in June 2026, and it was one of the most memorable holidays we have ever experienced. What makes this resort so special is that it is located only about five minutes from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, yet the moment you arrive, it feels as though you have travelled hundreds of miles away from civilization to a peaceful island oasis. The service throughout the resort was outstanding. Every single staff member contributed to making our stay special, from the restaurant teams and bar staff, to the concierge, housekeeping, and the cleaners who kept both the rooms and the property immaculate. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness of the team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was another highlight of our stay. The all-inclusive package is excellent value and one I would highly recommend. Having access to five different restaurants meant there was always plenty of variety, and every meal we had was delicious, beautifully presented, and of a very high standard. The snorkeling beach was simply unbelievable. It honestly felt as though someone had told all the fish to come out and put on a show for us! The water was crystal clear, and the marine life was vibrant and abundant. My husband and I spent many hours there, enjoying what felt like a truly magical underwater world. One of the best added touches is that the resort offers free daily snorkeling excursions to the Blue Bay Marine Park. Being able to explore this protected marine reserve directly from the resort was an incredible experience and one of the highlights of our holiday. Another thing we loved about Shandrani Beachcomber is that it allows you to enjoy your holiday entirely at your own pace. There are different areas around the resort where you can sit quietly, relax by the beach, enjoy a drink, or simply take in the stunning surroundings. Whether you want complete relaxation or a more active holiday, the resort caters perfectly for both. Shandrani Beachcomber truly caters for people from all walks of life. Couples, families, and groups can all find their own perfect rhythm here. For us, it was the ideal destination for a relaxing, wonderful, and unforgettable holiday. I would return without hesitation, and I can highly recommend Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a beautiful Mauritian escape with exceptional service, fantastic food, and some of the best snorkeling imaginable.

Best resort in its price class
We went in April 2025. Seeing other resorts made us realize the standard of this resort is top of the range in its price class & great value for money. Its conveniently located close to the airport, reducing travel time & lengthening your time at the resort. Wonderful atmosphere. Great rooms with good beds. Adult area is quiet.

Amazing 2-night stay
I had an amazing experience during our two-night stay at Shandrani to celebrate my wife's birthday. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every member of the team made our stay truly memorable.
A special thank you to Isabel for the warm welcome and for introducing us to the hotel. We are also grateful to Mrs. Shirley and her incredible spa team, who helped us relax and feel completely revitalized.
A big thanks to Guillaume, who was always available with a great smile, delicious cocktail recommendations, and excellent food suggestions that made our dining experience even better.
A special mention goes to Mr. Mervyn, the Night Manager. We enjoyed spending quality time chatting over a drink about the World Cup, and his professionalism, warmth, and thoughtful advice truly enhanced our guest experience.
The buffet offered an outstanding selection of food, and the thoughtful surprise of a beautiful birthday cake and a bottle of champagne made my wife's birthday celebration even more special.
Last but certainly not least, thank you to Mr. Ved and Mr. Bertrand for regularly checking that everything was perfect throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and genuine care were greatly appreciated.
The Shandrani for 2 (adults-only) room was simply perfect—peaceful, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for.
