- Le Peninsula Bay Beach Resort and Spa
Situated on a superb white sandy beach, quietly nestled away in a lush garden and bordered by the beautiful blue lagoon, it really is the kind of venue you'll only find in Mauritius.
A venue like this is a treat for the mind and body: the perfect climate, the unspoilt sand and the incredible deep inky blues in the lagoon all tell you that this is like nowhere else on earth. It is a destination to relish and the basis of a holiday to cherish.
This is one of the ultimate picture-perfect Mauritian locations. Settling down with a drink and looking out over the white sands or the mesmerising turquoise-blue lagoon you'll feel that you really are in paradise. Look a little further and you'll be able to take in the neighbouring marine park with its beautiful coral garden - a stunning place to swim and snorkel.
Then, step into the cool surroundings of the Le Peninsula Bay Beach Resort and you'll feel just as privileged. This is a wonderful four star hotel that's designed in harmony with the surroundings.
Check out the comfortable rooms. Each include WIFI, air conditioning, a safe, a courtesy tray with tea/coffee, a bathroom with WC, shower or bathtub, hairdryer, a television with satellite channels, a phone for national calls (international calls available at reception*), and a fridge. You can also enquire about privilege, deluxe and deluxe ocean front rooms with a balcony or terrace.
Adding to the wonderfully relaxed feel, you won't have to lift a finger. All meals are included on All Inclusive – and snacks and local drinks too.
Guests are also given access to the many facilities - not just the fabulous pool and watersports activities, but a wellness centre and boutique. The spa boasts Individual and Couple Massages, a sauna, beauty/care, hands, feet, facial and body treatment! In the evening, enjoy some entertainment including the famous typical and folklorique Sega dance of Mauritius, folk songs and dance, karaoke & other live entertainment.
Paradise is beautiful, and it's busy too. The hotel offers a range of watersports free of charge, including boat trips to Blue Bay Marine Park for a spot of snorkelling, or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, stand up padding boarding, windsurfing, laser boats and more! Indoor sports are available too, such as table tennis, darts, and lobby games (cards, scrabble etc).
The Le Peninsula Bay Beach Resort is a feature packed hotel in one of Mauritius' most beguiling locations. You're in for a real treat.

Not value for money. Limited choice in terms of food, drinks, etc. Food not good. Not satisfied. First and last time here !!
They charge you the price of a 4 star hotel, yet are very limited in terms of food and drink choices for an all inclusive package. Do not recommend AT ALL. The food is very basic, so average, there is only 4 variety of cocktails under the all inclusive package. Such a wastage of money. The food as well was not good at all. I would recommend you spend an extra of Rs 1500 and book a 4 star hotel instead.
Not recommended. Food not good. Limited cocktails alcohol. Alcohol of very cheap quality . Dinner zero satisfaction . Better eat in a snack . I took a sprite which taste as sparkling water . Will never recommend someone to visit . I feel it was a waste of money and time
Hostility, mean, faces, no flexibility, fake smiles, unbelievably unpleasant atmosphere and stuff at the gate and Reception. Female security guard was wonderful. They almost tell you their looks that they hate you. And when you ask them ( like we did ) if everything is OK, they kind of realize and smile and try to be nice, which is so not natural for them. We work at hospitality, and if we had people like these working for us, they would be fired on the spot.
When it comes to food, it reflects the standard of the HOTEL, it’s tasty and sufficient, stuff at the restaurant is kind and hospitable.Housekeeping stuff also pleasant and upcoming. Porter is lazy and only cares about his TIP rather than helping you with luggage. Probably he’s the same family as the front desk team. Would definitely not come back or recommend to anyone. The only point that keeps this average hotel working is the location at Blue Bay. Otherwise it would be very low class property for backpackers.
My experience at Peninsula Bay in Mauritius was very enjoyable, and overall, I found it to be a very good hotel for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the large swimming pool and the beautiful sea view from my room, which made the stay even more pleasant.
Honestly, the food was one of the best aspects of my experience. I stayed on an all-inclusive package, and I was impressed by the wide variety of dishes available at the buffet, offering plenty of choices to suit different tastes. The beverage selection was also excellent, with a great range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The staff were very kind, welcoming, and friendly, which contributed positively to the overall experience. The rooms were well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with personalised touches that made the accommodation feel even more special.
Overall, Peninsula Bay is a great option for anyone looking for a pleasant hotel experience with good food, a wide selection of beverages, friendly service, and beautiful sea views. I would definitely recommend it to couples and travellers looking for an enjoyable all-inclusive stay in Mauritius.
