Now more than ever due to the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation we are focusing on our guest experience and ensuring we are exceeding the protocols from the worlds leading health experts including the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC. Please note that on 19 March 2020 the Republic of Mauritius has issued a government advisory closing the border to all arriving passengersl. In addition a mandatory curfew has been implemented as of 23 March 2020 which means that guests will not be able to enjoy the full OneAndOnly experience. Guests can continue to enjoy the resort beach and pools- the gardens and Club One. Dining will be available at La Terrasse and en suite. The Spa and the KidsOnly remain closed.We remain vigilant about the health and safety of all our guests and colleagues without compromising your guest experience.

Friendly atmosphere and agreat scenic place
Very friendly staff, amazing service by Jacinta in the breakfast service, then dhanapal,Vinod,and all the other cleaning staff in our villa, elodea for all her amazing suggestions.. loved the place coz of the friendly staff atmosphere everywhere in the hotel.. the staffs in the teen area were great to have good game of football n all. Loved their japenese restaurant amazing tapas The location is super quiet and lovely scenery everywhere
Outstanding holiday
A truly amazing holiday at the O&O in Mauritius. We stayed in a 4 bed villa and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish - the staff are awesome, very attentive and made the experience exceed expectations. The food and resort we tremendous, lots of options to eat and plenty of activities to keep you busy. We will be back!
Cancelled our booking made a year ago
Unfortunately we never got to stay. We booked a very special milestone holiday a year in advance, but unfortunately 3 months before travelling we got an email that One & Only had decided to cancel our reservation so they could accommodate a private event - and in return ruin our long-awaited holiday. There was no apology, apart from offering $200 one-off credit on a future stay which is frankly insulting for a $8000 stay. Honestly, I was shocked at our treatment, the handling, and greed from what used to be a hotel renowned for excellent service. This really puts shame on the One & Only brand. In addition, from multiple conversations, this seems to be a recurring theme from managment at this hotel.
The only light coming out of this is that we discovered the newly-renovated Four Seasons. All rooms are stunning individual villas, with heated 28-30 degree private pools (some days we saw steam coming off!) that make a huge difference in the winter months.

Dinner at Riva was superb. Umah provided fantastic service and is world class. Thank you for making it a night to remember.
