Having just returned from our fifth stay here at Constance, I can confidently say that this hotel continues to be the most special place my father and I have ever visited.

What makes Constance so exceptional isn't just the beautiful surroundings or the fantastic food, but the wonderful people who make every visit so memorable. Every time we return, we are welcomed not simply as guests but as part of the Constance family. The warmth, kindness and attentiveness of the entire team never fail to amaze us.

Nothing ever feels like too much trouble. Whether it's a small request or something requiring a little extra effort, everyone goes out of their way to make sure we are looked after.

From the lovely team who greeted us every morning at breakfast to the brilliant sommeliers who took care of us each evening, the service was exceptional throughout. The sommeliers in particular made every evening something to look forward to, always introducing us to something new and giving us another reason to return the following night!

Even after five visits, the experience never loses its magic. We couldn't recommend Constance Belle Mare Plage highly enough to anyone visiting Mauritius and we are already looking forward to our sixth stay!

An Exceptional Stay, Made Unforgettable by the People and Their Hospitality

We had a wonderful family stay at Constance Belle Mare in Mauritius to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday. Travelling as an entire family, with our our 11 month old baby, made this trip particularly special. However, our little one was unwell during the stay, and what could have been a stressful experience turned into a comfortable and memorable one, thanks to the incredible care, warmth and hospitality of the entire team.

What truly stood out for us was the exceptional attention given to our dietary requirements. My baby has a dairy allergy, and since I am feeding him, I have to follow a completely dairy-free diet myself. Managing such strict dietary restrictions while travelling can be challenging, but the chefs and restaurant staff at Constance Belle Mare went far beyond our expectations to ensure that both of us were well taken care of. A very special mention goes to Chef Shanon, Chef Vishnu, Chef Veer, chef Amit, chef Virendra, along with the other wonderful members of the culinary team. They took the time to personally guide us through the food options, show us the dishes that would be suitable for us, and understand our specific requirements. What touched us most was their willingness to prepare special meals for both me and my baby throughout the day. Whether it was khichdi, parathas, vegetables or other simple, baby-friendly dishes, they were always accommodating and ready to help. They patiently suggested different options and made sure we had something suitable for my baby at every meal. No request ever felt like a burden, and they consistently went out of their way to make things easier for us.

As a mother travelling with an unwell baby and managing a strict dairy-free diet, I cannot express how reassuring it was to have such a supportive team around us. Their care went beyond simply providing a service; they made us feel genuinely looked after. This level of personal attention deserves special recognition and is something we will always remember about our stay.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Mr. Sharma, who managed our villa. He was extremely helpful, attentive and approachable, taking care of all the little details that made our stay smooth and comfortable. His assistance ensured that we could relax and enjoy our family time without worrying about the many practical aspects of travelling with a young child.

One of the most memorable highlights of our stay was the beautiful birthday celebration the resort arranged on our final evening. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law share the same birthday, and the team made an extraordinary effort to celebrate this special occasion with us. They organised a beautiful dinner on the beach, complete with atmospheric lighting and a specially curated menu for our family. What made the evening even more thoughtful was that they also arranged a separate menu tailored to my dietary restrictions, ensuring that I could enjoy the experience without worrying about my dairy allergy.

The entire experience felt almost surreal. Sitting by the ocean, listening to the waves gently wash ashore, surrounded by beautiful lighting and sharing a thoughtfully prepared meal with our family, was truly magical. Every detail had been considered, and everything was executed to perfection. It was an incredibly special way to celebrate two important birthdays and create memories that our family will cherish for years to come.

Overall, the entire team at Constance Belle Mare made our family holiday truly exceptional. The beautiful property and stunning surroundings are undoubtedly wonderful, but it is the people who make a place memorable, and the staff here exemplified the very best of hospitality. From the chefs who thoughtfully catered to our dietary needs to the team that created such a magical birthday celebration, every interaction reflected genuine care, warmth and attention to detail.

My heartfelt thanks to the entire team, especially the chefs, for going above and beyond to take care of me and my baby, and for making our family celebration so special. Their kindness transformed what could have been a challenging trip into a wonderfully comfortable and memorable experience.
