- Fantasia Hotel De Luxe

Set on almost 9 hectares of seaside property with 150 metres of private blue flagged beach, the family-friendly holiday hotel Fantasia De Luxe enjoys a great location with splendid views over the eternal blue of the Aegean Sea, the Greek island of Samos and beautiful sunsets. The centre of the tourist resort of Kuşadası is within easy reach. The picturesque city of Izmir is within a 50 minutes' drive. The splendour of the hotel welcomes guests in the lobby, and the rooms are stylish and modern. The huge garden with colourful flowers, palm trees and date trees surrounds a fantastic pool landscape with two large outdoor pools and a children's pool. Younger guests will love the playground as well as the mini club and youth club, while adults will appreciate the relaxing spa facilities. Culinary options include various excellent restaurants and bars. A great choice for a family holiday.
Stayed here during summer of this year, arrived just after midnight and was hoping for some food to be on for late guests but unfortunately it was not. Our room was on -1 level, was a little loud with doors slamming shut throughout the night. The staff was fantastic from the bar, restaurant staff through to the receptionists.
The issues we found as a couple was the food in the restaurant was of little choice, there was a small amount of food to choose from. There was a lot of food that looked like mush, barely any food that would cater for fussy eaters or children. None of the food was labelled so if you have any allergies you had to struggle. The snack bar was the safest meal of the day as it was always the same so you knew you were able to have some food throughout the day.
The sunbeds by the pools were always taken, some of which was taken and not used. They are all close together so you’d have the neighbouring parasol’s being up/down. The beach is quiet so you would almost certainly have a sunbed, although the sea on the beach is not the best if you have toddlers or young children as it can get rough at times.
The bar staff on the night were always making sure you had drinks on your table, they were always friendly even though the language barrier could be difficult at times.
The only other issue we had which was purely situational was the restaurant should open at 7pm but on last day of our holiday, the transfer was picking us up at 7:40pm and we wanted some last minute food before the travel home, the restaurant didn’t open up until 7:25pm so the food had to be rushed.
Don’t even think about to stay here !

Cons:
My advice: Don’t stay here at any price. I decided to leave even without getting my money back because my vacation is worth more than staying here. They can keep my money—I hope they use it to improve this hotel, or at least will change their rating for 1-3 star hotel
I was great, great location, we really like the pools, great atmosphere and nice stuff. Room was good but bathroom not that much. Pressure in shower head was really low and it doesnt look that clean. But everything else was perfect. Maybe charge for wifi is too much but I dont know about hotels around here.
We are currently here, Good points -staff are brilliant, so friendly and helpful -food is excellent however not a normal big selection but you can’t have quality and bulk cooking -every where is spotlessly clean from the room to the pools and beach.
-the views are stunning
Bad points

-£20 deposit for the safe key.
If it had a make over and made the pools all one level (1.55m) then there would be more space for everyone
"The beach is nice, but the operator running the water sports business is highly unprofessional. While relaxing nearby, we overheard him bragging to his staff about his personal life and boasting about how many female tourists he manages to get into bed, with his team laughing along. It is incredibly tacky and completely ruins the family atmosphere. Women beware do not be fooled by a kind face. If you are traveling with family, keep a close eye on your daughters around this station. Management needs to vet their beach vendors properly."
