I am disappointed that I am owed a refund by the hotel but have been told to wait two weeks to receive my money. If the situation were reversed and I owed the hotel money, I am confident I would not be given two weeks to settle the outstanding balance. It is unacceptable to apply two different sets of rules. I expect the same level of urgency and fairness when the hotel owes money to its customers as it expects from them.

Do not go to the hotel or pay any money in advance. It is money into a black hole.

I am now waiting on Guest Relations during my holiday for money to be refunded. Clearly unacceptable.

Please can you arrange for my refund to be processed without further delay and confirm when I can expect to receive it.

Just returned from a week stay at the Hilton Dalaman.

Overall the hotel was great - our room was clean, although a little dated, but it was very sound proof as we couldn’t hear anyone else and that gave us comfort no one could hear our children shouting and screaming either!

Breakfast was great - lots of variety to choose from - the Turkish bagels were the softest bagel we have ever had!

Lunch - the buffet was very devoid of people and we realised a few days into our stay that most people went to the snack bars - which served really good food!

Evening meals - its a shame the al la cartes are an additional cost - we didn’t try any as we have had bad experiences with paying for al la cartes previously in other hotels so didn’t want to pay for them in case we were disappointed again.

The food overall was good - lots of variety and very fresh. However the theme nights were questionable. There were more world food nights than others, so basically it was quite similar food on quite a few nights. The Asian night was quite disappointing as there were the same noodles and meat options that were present on other nights - so other than the addition of some sushi, the food was very similar each night.

There was a separate area for the kids food but it was very very small. At breakfast and lunch none of the 4 heating trays were filled, and at dinner they had very bland boiled chicken or peas etc - not exactly a meal. The other kids food such as chips and nuggets etc were located right at the other end of the restaurant which made it difficult to get the kids settled as we had to go back and forth to see what was available.

The evening entertainment was good - we enjoyed a couple of evenings out however more shows rather than dance/singing shows would be preferable.

Our daughter enjoyed the kids club - during the day it was great - lots of different activities to do and the staff were great.

The evening however was diabolical. The kids disco - well I wouldn’t even call it a disco to be honest. Each evening was exactly the same - the same songs every single evening. The staff looked like they didn’t want to be there - there was very little enthusiasm or enjoyment from them. Even our daughter who loves dancing - after 2 nights - said its the same very day, I don’t want to go again.

It would be better to introduce some variety - maybe have a disco ball, some more glow sticks (as the 1 night they had some, they ran out very quickly and the kids only got 1 each!), maybe have a foam party, some characters, some balloons - and definitely change the playlist so there are different songs each day!

It was painful - not only for the kids but also for the adults.

It was fantastic that some of the pools were heated - although the childrens pool attached to the kids club was freezing! Surely the childrens pools should be heated?!

Overall it was a good stay - and we would visit again as we did enjoy it. But for the Hilton brand, it is let down in some aspects that could easily be updated/changed and the hotel could be great!
