Montebello Deluxe

The manager was a very rude obnoxious man who was no help and wasn't the slightest bit interested with our query about being charged for the later checkout time and wouldn't let us into our room for our cases and passports until my wife paid the £40. How it started was we booked and paid for a deluxe twin room which should have had a double bed in the room but only to find 2 single beds. We queried it and we're told that the 2 beds maybe able to be pushed together the following day. The following day we were told that it wasn't possible due to the electrical sockets etc and were told that if a room with a double bed was available they would try and sort it. Unfortunately this didn't happen and we had to spend our 10 nights apart. The last day we asked to see the manager to see if they could compensate us and maybe not charge us the £40 as a gesture for us not giving us the room we actually paid for and having to spend 10 nights apart. We shown him our booking and he kept telling us crap that we paid for a room with 2 single beds and said the contract on our booking was for a twin room. I had it out with him and told him many times we had paid for a double room but wasn't interested. I said I'd but a bad review on and he said do what you f*****g want. It was such a shame as the hotel itself and the staff were fantastic but our stay was spoiled but that horrible so called manager. We will deffo not be returning there and for people staying there id advise to treble check your booking info to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else

Fantastic hotel. Room was perfect with everything you need. Food was lovely and the staff very friendly. Will definately be back. I have loved every second. Going to miss my turkish coffee with a smile made by Cihan (JJ)

Montebello Beldenzi Hotel, well from the pictures on the Internet looked really nice, what a shock we had we arrived late on the night there was a girl in reception who gave is our key and pointed the way to our room, my partner is disabled we wasnt helped with our luggae where everywhere else we have been, we arrived at the room, first opions not too bad, well wasnt we wrong we had the worst night sleep weve ever had the bed was so had and uncomfortable, then we went to the bathroom to have a shower the tiles were cracked and some were missing and the wall under the sink was black and paint missing it looked damp and mouldy my partner killed a couple of earwigs and cockraoches, we complained to be told it would be sorted, also there wasnt any kettle of cups or glasses we was told there would be , the TV didnt always work the only thing that worked was the air-conditioning, the room was supposed to be cleaned every day and fresh towels we went 3 days without clean towels and the bed was never changed and the floors wernt cleaned, the breakfast wasnt very good not alot of choice and the got food was mainly cold as the warmers didnt seem like they worked, the staff didnt like speaking most of the time, we would never stay there again
