On arrival we taken to one room and told this is only for tonight then we will be moving you into your other room when we didget put in our room then told the air-conditioning is £6 a day which wasn’t the greatest of air-conditioning they had to get an engineer to come and re-Gas it then one night it was making a terrible noise. We got the night receptionist to and have a look at it he said I will give you a fan and then said you’ll have to pay £3 for .Then on returning to the room after being around the pool there was Ants all over the bed when we told the person at reception she basically accused us of having food or drinks in the room when this was only on our first full day as we arrived late at night. When you pay by card to settle your bill at the end of the day they put a charge for using the card even though our bank doesn’t charge for using their cards abroad. There was only two plug sockets in the room and they were nowhere near the bed. They had to give me an extension lead so I could plug my CPAC machine in. Then in our daughter’s room, the cleaner pulled the hand off of the inside of the door when our daughter went back in she couldn’t get out of the room. I went and let her out by opening it from the outside we told the person at the bar and he said we need to someone to do it, but we don’t know when they’ll be turning up so she can’t go back in the room because she won’t be able to get out in the end. I said I will go and fix it and showed him how to do it. overall, this could be a really nice hotel if it was brought up-to-date.
The hotel breakfast and pool were good, but the room was small. There was no TV, no internet, and no refrigerator. You had to pay extra for using the air conditioning in the pool, and all drinks were also charged. The city center was far away, costing 600 lira by taxi. There was no hotel shuttle. We booked for five days, but after two days we left because we were disappointed. The hotel staff were good and refunded the change. My advice is, if you want better service, pay more.
Just got back from another great holiday at the Celay in Ovacik . Been there about 9 times x Lovely hotel friendly staff great food Pool immaculate and hotel and rooms so clean. Couldn’t wish for a better stay x the staff will Do anything for you x Great value x Cathy and Pete
We arrived at the hotel at 1:30am and was met with a smile and a very helpful member of staff. The room was comfortable, you will have to pay a charge for air-conditioning £6.00 a night. We went half board, the meals were good a small choice for breakfast and a couple of choices for the evening meal. The staff are brilliant and helpful especially George and his daughter, nothing is to much. Great swimming pool with a very relaxed atmosphere. The brochure states the beach is 3km away, it's actually 3 miles away, fortunately there's a regular bus service which is less than a pound plus the taxi service is cheap enough. All In all! I would recommend this place if you like a slower pace. My wife and I loved the place.
Arrived at hotel about 1am. At reception were booked in and given keys to room 222. Top floor room with a great view, just what we asked for. A young lad helped take our cases to our room. The room is lovely with shower and toilet.Only a small balcony with two chairs. There is no fridge in rooms which would of been nice, but we knew about this before we booked.Plus no TV in roomThe pool area is lovely with two pools. One is adults only. Kept very clean. The bar area is lovely and serves food all day. The prices of food and drinks is very reasonable. The food is very good. The breakfast is ok. But stayed in other hotels with more choice. You can have full English breakfast at an additional cost. All the staff are very hard working and always smiling. Would definitely come back to this hotel again. Well done to all the staff
