Hotel Grand Cettia

There were some positives during our stay at Grand Cettia, but overall, the experience fell well below our expectations for a 4-star-plus all-inclusive hotel. The positives: The hotel was very clean, and the front-of-house staff were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, friendly and a real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. The rooms: We stayed in a family room, which left a lot to be desired. Despite being advertised to accommodate up to five people, the room had only one electrical socket. The furniture was old and very dated, and the sofa bed had definitely seen better days. It was extremely grubby and in need of replacement. The balcony was also tiny for a family room intended to accommodate up to five guests. The food and all-inclusive experience: The food selection was abysmal. The choice was extremely poor, and much of the food was served cold. It was so disappointing that we ended up eating out every evening during our seven-night stay. For an all-inclusive holiday, having to pay to eat elsewhere every night defeats the purpose of booking this type of package. Dinner finished at 9 pm, and after that, there were no snacks available, leaving very little for guests who wanted something to eat later in the evening. The pool area: The pool area was very small and overcrowded, with sunbeds crammed together and virtually no room to walk between them comfortably. In my opinion, this is a genuine health and safety concern, particularly when the area is busy. The hotel cat: The hotel cat was allowed to roam freely in and out of the dining room and around the hotel facilities. While some guests may enjoy having a cat around, this is not appropriate for everyone, particularly those with allergies. There should be greater consideration for guests who may be affected. Overall: I genuinely struggle to understand how this hotel is rated 4 stars plus. While the cleanliness and front-of-house staff deserve praise, the dated and poorly maintained room furnishings, very poor food quality and selection, overcrowded pool area and lack of evening snacks significantly detracted from our holiday. Based on our experience, the facilities and overall all-inclusive offering felt much closer to a 2-star standard than a 4-star-plus hotel. Sadly, I would not choose to stay here again, and I would advise anyone considering booking to research their options carefully before committing.

We had a great holiday, meeting friends made our holiday. Hotel was fine, but I wouldn't say 4⭐. Was told we had to pay £25 each to use the Al a Carte restaurant. You have to pay if you want to watch English channels on TV. Also have to pay for safety deposit box. Hotel is fine otherwise, food was ok. We witnessed several incidents wit Lucifer on animation team. Pestering females including one of our friends, his actions was disgusting, this is a family hotel and not acceptable.

We arrived at this hotel last week and came home yesterday. We were a family for four travelling with our friends that are also a family of 4!

Hotel is clean, rooms were clean and acceptable for our family of 4! All 8 of us found something to eat for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Even my daughter who is a beige picky eater always ate something.

We took the hotel shuttle to Tiki beach one day and would highly recommend.

I can not thank the hotel staff enough for when my son became ill they got the nurse to us immediately who called out for a Doctor that arrived within 20 minutes. Barney (lead entertainer) attended the room to ensure everything was translated effectively, the doctor transported me and my son to the local hospital where he was treated immediately. As we had to stay in overnight the hotel assisted my husband printing all required documentation which Barney then drove to the hospital he stayed with us and translated my sons discharge for us ensuring everything was in place for discharge also assisting in obtaining the medications from the local pharmacy and delivering them to the hotel.

When we arrived back at the hotel every member of staff checked on him and us to ensure we had everything we needed. Ultimately ensuring he was ok, wanting to be updated.

The kindness and concern from the staff was not only shown to my son but to my daughter who had became very upset with the ongoing situation. They made time to check on her, providing her with reassurance and distraction which we greatly appreciated.

Every member of staff we have encountered has been a pleasure, going above and beyond even before my son became unwell.

We were lucky enough to only have one rainy day while away but even then the entertainment team continued to engage with people whether that was just chatting or putting on games that people could get involved with.

Sebo (day) and Yakup (night) that work the bar/restaurant are amazing.

Ali (around the pool) is so lovely.

Marta never stops and will always make sure to do everything in her power to make sure you have everything you need.

The entertainment team Barney, Amy, Lar, Lucifer, John and Deniz are absolutely incredible. From the moment they get there at 10am until they finish at 11pm they make sure holiday is amazing they are truly a fundamental part of the hotel. They all went above our expectations.

Barney I will never ever be able to Thankyou enough for what you did for us.

As adults we had the best time and the kids enjoyed themselves. We would return in a heartbeat.
