We are not alone....
As everyone else has said, absolutely amazing stay at the Sea Star. The location, amazing staff, excellent food and cleanliness makes you want to return - so we have booked to come back in 2027😁 Management are visible but stay in the background and let the staff do a very professional job. Everyone knows Mehmet (Beach/Pool lifeguard) as he is just one of the nicest people around, always making sure everyone is happy. The staff in the bar areas and restaurant are so attentive without being over the top - 5* Yes there is no entertainment in the evenings but if you want that, its just a 5min stroll into town. Maybe some quiet background music in the indoor seating area by the evening bar? Maybe one thing to note if its important to you....the hotel Wifi only seemed to reach halfway down the beach area - I suppose a repeater could be installed to improve this? Can't wait to return to this gem of a hotel
A lovely second stay as a solo traveler – great staff and relaxing atmosphere
After a great visit in June, I returned to Sea Star Marmaris in late September to recharge. It was wonderful to be back; the entire team works incredibly hard to ensure a perfect stay, and they made me feel very welcome. I was also thrilled to see my foster cat Batman looking healthy thanks to Melis and the beach security guard. Special thanks to Melis from reception for making sure my room was absolutely perfect again, just like last time. The room is very clean, the shower is great and the minibar always full. When I fell ill, the team was very attentive. Melissa, Bethany, Recep, and Melis looked after me, and bartenders Kemal and Gökberk were both professional and thoughtful. Plus points: varied food (especially the fish is so tasty), plenty of sunbeds and a perfect location on a beautiful bay within walking distance of the village. Minor points: the pool bar lacks some evening atmosphere, and late September felt a bit chilly with a slightly older crowd compared to June. However, I had a very nice stay and will definitely return to recharge again at a different time of year.

This was our third time staying at the seastar.. And yet again we were not disappointed.. It was AMAZING. It's our ideal holiday. Everything about the sea star is first class.. Hotel is very clean. Staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great stay. The food is delicious. I need to go on a diet now as couldn't resist all the scrumptious food in the buffet. There's also a bbq everything freshly made. Our waitress was Yaren. Such a lovely girl. Helped me with a few Turkish words. Nothing was a bother to the staff. . And ineil made our lovely breakfast every morning. Tom had his usual omelette. I had 2 fried eggs with cheese on top and mushrooms and onion s on the side.. Like everyone else said rooms spotless cleaning team did a great job. Beds comfy.. Great shower. With everything you need. In toiletries... . Only another hand rail as you step out the shower would help. Double locks and a chain on the door. Makes you feel extra safe. Mini bar filled everyday with soft drinks and beer. Great tv with English channels. Swimming pool area and beach all kept clean. Thanks to Mehmet taking care of everyone. Lovely man so helpful and friendly. Hotel doesn't have entertainment . But if you want that Ithere are plenty of places a short walk away.. There is background music. Our only little fault was my partner is diabetic . Only choice of sugar free drinks was coke zero. Also no non alcoholic beer.. There is nothing I can say to fault the seastar. Other than praise. It highly. We had an 11 day stay and we really were sad to go. We loved it in the seastar so much. Oh and you can go to a le carte once a week. We loved the food. It was Michelin star. We had fillet steak. Cooked how we liked it served by the lovely young man cihat I'm sure his name was . Who went the extra mile to please his guests. ❤️ And thank you to reception manager Melis who is worth her weight in gold.. Answered every e mail immediately. She was so professional and caring . And reassured that. We will have a comfortable stay.. 100 per cent right. So much so. We now have the big decision who we book with for next year. Only home 2 days and looking to book for next year.. only next year we. Will be going for longer. Also all staff at reception helpful and pleasant. The whole experience in the seastar is fantastic. I would give more than 5 stars. Thank you so so much for having us in your luxurious hotel. We loved every minute. . Our room was 308.. Lovely quiet corner room with wrap around balcony. Hopefully get 408 next year but 308 we would still be happy. See you next year. Inshalllah

Sea star - HELL ON EARTH FOR 10 Days
Ok so the positives…. Cleanliness is outstanding and housekeepers are lovely! Mehmet on beach lovely man very friendly and helpful! but being honest Had the worst holiday experience ever…… If you’ve been before you are treated like royalty, drinks served constantly, plates cleared immediately chatted to.. as first timers we felt like aliens!!!!! Food was horrific, and COLD!!! we are not chicken and chips people (which clearly is all you need according to another guest) and like to try new things. Fish on toast and little bowls of beans definitely not our thing. Soup - wedding soup and flour soup….????? No thanks. We have lived on salad (which had clearly been in bowls for a few days - had a tang taste to it) and cheese!! Meat….??? What meat is it?? WiFi useless! Due to storms restaurant flooded I know this can’t be helped but dangerous wet floors!! Electric went off at least 5 times. Staff enjoying their meals from buffet whilst guest are eating - don’t begrudge staff food but come on the choice wasn’t great anyway. Didn’t appreciate a staff member wading through restaurant in his wellies and wet coat during breakfast. Lots of tables set for 4 people s if in a couple be prepared share your meal with total strangers- awkward….!!!! Glasses smelt like bleach - ok they clean!!! Food and beverage manager - rude! Ignored dirty plates and empty glasses - except for those returning!!! Enjoyed his meals every day though !! Guests are of an older generation and on a wet day the lobby felt like a geriatric care home!! Needless to say we will NEVER return to Sea Star!

Lovely stay
Such a lovely hotel in the perfect location. I would recommend this adults only hotel so peaceful with no kids. The food is amazing always something to choose from with a fussy eater. The staff are amazing always willing to help out when needed. The cleaners as to lovely Would highly recommend this hotel
