Unbeatable views and incredible hospitality made an unforgettable stay
The views at Orka are breathtaking. The staff are incredible and the hotel is fantastic. Just book it! First time in Turkey! We will definitely be back. Group of 7 girls( loose term) We travel annually to different countries but this hotel has stopped us in our tracks.
We booked sea view and wow! The hotel is right on the beach plenty of sunbeds, great choice of drinks from the beach bar. We also got overly excited when the ice creams were handed out in the afternoon. Crystal clear waters to top it off. Special shout out to our friend Sakir and all the guys on the bar. We tried all three a La carte restaurants. The Turkish was the most popular. The waiters Mertcan( did not stop) and Mehmet were incredible the food was great. They arranged a gorgeous cake for our friend’s Birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. Try the Turkish meatballs. The Chinese was my favourite, tasty food run by a lovely chap called Jimmy. However the highlight for all of us was the Italian mainly for the entertainment! Namely Fikri the waiter! Now I’m not sure where they found him but he is an absolute treasure. We cried laughing all night( think Manuel faulty Towers) I wonder should he be on the entertainment team . Beautiful setting and a night to remember. Also met a wild Boar on the beach that night! Shout out to icon club. Go it’s a fab beach club vibes, great tunes and have a dance with Jimmy from the ents team. Also search out Kevin ( Heavon) crazy member of the wants team. Both work super hard.
The main restaurant is also great. The team are so hard working. Gemil , our Jimmy looked after us so well. The team In there work dawn til dust. Ibrahim, Baruk so many I can’t name them all, under the watchful eye of Bilal. A super gentleman who really made sure our stay was extra special.
Icmeler is about 15 mins walk and from there try and get a water taxi to Turunc. Turn left off the taxi and there is a lovely restaurant serving lunch with a pool area and beach called z villas.
We used the hotel transfer. Great five seater. Great competitive price. Just. Contact the hotel and they sort it out. Saves all the stops with the coaches.
We will definitely be back. Thanks to everyone from house keeping to bar staff to entertainment staff. Who knew Turkey was going to be so amazing

The whole experience was absolutely amazing not the first time here because our family absolutely love it! Everyone is amazing with our Children & family in general like one big family everytime we’re away, the services is amazing, the entertainment is great, room sizes are great very big always clean fresh top ups in fridges daily, for the price off the holiday I would say it’s worth it 100 times, the staff I couldn’t say anything bad! Will carry on our yearly family holidays for as long as we can❤️ bells , arrowsmith & family xx thank you very much bilal and sezgin

Absolutely love this hotel, staff are amazing lamia and Kemal on the tapas bar made our summer stay so enjoyable and the our kids loved the mocktails! Animation team were amazing always trying to get people involved but no pressure,5th time staying at Orka by far the best team. Havin, Domdom Kwiz Leah Sena Carreta and everyone else but sorry I forgot there names!

Myself and my husband just returned from this hotel.We stayed there 2 years ago and loved it,however that was not our experience this time. The location of the property is amazing stunning views and some staff are very friendly and helpful yonca in the service area was very good,amra and akra in the blue bar made the best cocktails in the hotel,and kwiz did the morning yoga was great a lovely way to start your day. The rooms were nice too and kept well by the cleaners. That's all the positives unfortunately the dining experience in pine restaurant was horrendous. I'm vegan and had little to no choice this time on breakfast, lunch,and dinner. On two of the mornings I seen hair in amongst the oranges. On another morning there was a rotten nectarine in the bowl with the fresh nectarine. After I had seen this I couldn't touch the fruit. There are no healthy cereal options just 3 different containers full of sugary cereals. The salads weren't very fresh either.I Did bring it up with a member of staff he told me they cater for the majority.I do understand I won't have the same choices as everybody else but I should be able to have at least one choice in all the dining they offer but I didn't. We skipped lunch most days because of this I had to eat a lot of bread which I don't eat at home and began to feel sluggish because of this so most days I couldn't face lunch. Eating in the pine restaurant was like eating in a noisy cafeteria.The staff are going through the restaurant with trolleys full of dirty dishes while you are trying to sit down with your food,the coffee machines are not very clean,and inside the restaurant staff are whipping the plates from underneath you when you've just finished eating ,the table covers are very old and need replacing. Overall it wasn't a very pleasant experience eating in this hotel. We couldn't avail of the al a carte restaurants either as I was told by a member of staff the Turkish restaurant wouldn't be able to cater for me as I'm vegan. The Italian restaurant was closed due to the weather. The Chinese restaurant had a cover charge. The hotel itself needs a lot of refurbishments done cracked tiles in general the grounds weren't kept very well and had cigarette buts scattered throughout the hotel,as did the beach while I do understand the hotel can't stop people from not having the manners to discard their cigarette butts in a bin they should keep their beach area clean. The spa area needs a makeover too the treatments are expensive for what doesn't feel like luxury,the towels are almost threadbare and need replacing. Overall the staff were quite rude the eating experience was terrible everywhere felt a bit grubby and definitely not a 5 star hotel. It's such a shame as the location is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been my advice to you is if your looking in this area as it's an amazing location look at another hotel there are lots to choose from. Great stay
Just returned from a 10 night stay at Orka lotus beach stunning views great staff and animation team room cleaned every day every member of staff I came in contact with were fantastic and a real boon to the Orka brand
