- Sahra Su Holiday Village and Spa

Ideal for couples and families alike, this extensive complex consists of 3-floor modern blocks of rooms and single-floor, thatched roof bungalows. In an idyllic location on the outskirts of the small village of Ovacik and some 8 km from the market town of Fethiye, it is surrounded by pine tree clad hills and has a view of Babadag Mountain. Offering a wide range of facilities, it has a relaxed atmosphere with organised animation for those who want it and peaceful places including a spa centre and a choice of outdoor pools. The village of Ovacik is approximately 1 km away and the busier resort of Hisaronu with a range of shops and popular nightlife is 2 km.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Enjoyed the holiday was a lovely relaxing 10 days. The entertainment team work very hard and have a good laugh with the holiday makers( carlos and Oscar ) will definitely come back in the future thanks fo a great holiday.
The hotel is very good, nice and relaxing. The entertainment team work very hard ( Karlos and Oscar) they also do beach party’s on a Sunday when there is no entertainment on at the hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but you only sleep in them and shower and change, been in a lot worse. Will definitely come back in the future.
The concept of having different types of accommodation, each with its own pool, is amazing — but a great concept alone isn’t everything. The public areas are really dated, and I’d even say quite dirty. The rooms aren’t much better; they feel very old‑fashioned and worn too. Paying extra for all‑inclusive means you expect good quality and variety — especially when you’re looking forward to proper delicious Turkish food — but getting average or even worse, and the same things repeated day after day… total waste of money indeed. It really feels like every part of what you hoped for is falling short. Turkey is renowned for its high‑quality service and warm hospitality — sadly, this property falls well short of that reputation. While some staff are professional and well‑trained, the rest are unhelpful, and their manner often verges on rudeness. Staying in the bungalows has a great advantage — your own swim‑up pool and lovely outdoor area. Unfortunately though, it really needs proper refurbishment, plus the broken sun loungers need replacing. It’s clear this place was excellent in the past, but it has been badly let down over time.
Fabulous holiday, great staff especially Emrah. Fabulous food, trips and spa
We're currently staying at Sahra Su Holiday Village & Spa and have had a really enjoyable family holiday overall.
When we arrived late at night, I politely asked if there was any possibility of a complimentary room upgrade, but unfortunately this was refused. It wasn't a great start, although I appreciate upgrades aren't always available.
The room itself is okay, but it's definitely in need of modernising. The biggest issue was the smell of sewage coming from the toilet, which was quite unpleasant throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a decent job of keeping the room clean, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about it.
What really made this holiday special was the entertainment team, especially Carlos and Oscar. The holiday genuinely wouldn't have been the same without them. Carlos is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet—funny, down to earth, professional, and brilliant with guests. He organised a beach party that my family and I attended, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying here.
I'd also like to give a special mention to Frank. He's another genuinely lovely guy who goes above and beyond for guests. He arranged our quad biking trip and our day excursion to Rhodes, both of which were fantastic experiences and are well worth doing.
Another standout was Semih, who arranged my deep tissue massage. I also have to thank my therapist, Duygu. It was, without question, the best massage I've ever had. She was absolutely incredible, and I'd recommend booking one during your stay.
The restaurant staff also deserve recognition. They work incredibly hard, are always attentive, always smiling, and are happy to help whenever you need anything.
The pool area is kept clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. There was always plenty of choice, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. Most importantly, our kids never once complained about the food, which says a lot!
Despite a few negatives with the room, the fantastic staff and atmosphere made this a memorable holiday. The people really are the hotel's biggest asset, and we'd like to thank everyone who helped make our family holiday so enjoyable.
