Montana Pine Resort

We stayed at Montana Pine Resort with our 5-year-old and, having read some mixed reviews beforehand, we were a little apprehensive. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, with a real mix of couples, and families with children of all ages. There isn't a dedicated kids' club or play area, which might put some parents off, but honestly the dolphin pool more than made up for it. There are some sun loungers that are to the right of the bar which are perfect for keeping an eye on the little ones in both pools. Bring some swimming tops with sleeves as there's little shade and trying to negotiate coming out of the pool for suncream was a haggle in itself. There's no pool entertainment which we were happy about as it kept the atmosphere relaxed all day - there are some hotels nearby who have cranked the volume up of their entertainment music but it's often short lived. It can be loud at night if you're next to the pool depending what's on.

In the evenings there's a good variety of entertainment too, dancers, singers, and karaoke nights, enough to keep both adults and older kids entertained. It does start late at 9pm and they could maximise the 8-9 with a mini kids disco if they wanted to accommodate younger families.

Food was a definite highlight for dinner. The menu changed every night with some genuinely great dishes (variety of turkey, chicken, fish and lots of veggie options too), and even with a fussy 5-year-old, we never struggled to find something she'd eat. Breakfast and lunch were more limited with fewer options and nothing to write home about which is a shame considering the quality of the evening offer. I would agreed with the comments on here about the snack bar (open from 2pm) serves the same thing every day, this wasn't a favourite of ours. It seemed to have the same options every day - dry burgers for a build-your-own-burger, pizza, chips etc. The pancakes were lovely though, especially with sugar and lemon, and the ice cream was fine, if a little on the cheap-tasting side.

The bars were a highlight, but cocktails are only available from the main bar or the Ego Bar, so if you're at the dolphin pool it's a bit of a walk if you fancy something different. We also never saw the Sunset Bar open during our stay, which was a shame as it looked like it would've been a nice spot.

Rooms were spotless throughout and the maids do a brilliant job. One downside was the fridge isn't stocked, you get one large bottle of water per day. There are also signs throughout the resort reminding you not to take food or drink out of the pool/bar areas, and none allowed in the rooms either.

Overall, we'd happily recommend it to families with young children. The food, entertainment, and general atmosphere all delivered, even if a few things (snack bar variety, bar accessibility, in-room drinks) could be improved. It's a great hotel if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break.

We had a fantastic experience here, being up in the mountains with incredible views and great service. Many thanks to Tuna who made sure every dish I had was ok for me given I have allergies and to Kadir who always had a smile for us when serving drinks. The cats here are well looked after and the kittens are very entertaining 😄. Last but not least is the fabulous photographer who takes amazing photos using the stunning grounds and wonderful sunlight to great effect. Thankyou Montana Pine for a truly great holiday 😊

Nice quiet location, easy to get taxis to busier Oludeniz or walk to Hisaronou. It's quite hilly so people with mobility issues might struggle. Relatively quiet hotel which my family liked. Sunbeds generally available, and didn't feel overly crowded. Rooms comfortable and not too far. Good value overall
