Club Tuana Fethiye

Just returned from a week here. It’s a beautiful resort, food was really good and lots of choice if you have picky eaters. They have chips and pizza etc if your kids don’t like the other things. The pool is big enough even at busy times, I didn’t find it too overwhelming at busy times and the kids loved the entertainment around the pool as well.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe family room, was definitely big enough for 3 adults and 2 kids. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels put in as well which was nice. If you need anything just use the app and they’re really quick to reach you.

I personally didn’t have any trouble finding sunbeds, we only needed 2 or 3 as we were mainly walking around or in the pool/sea. I saw lots even in the middle of the day around the garden areas (which is where we spent most of our time) So if you’re a large family who prefers beds directly around the pool then I’d say go early.

The weather is very hot it reached 37 three of the days but there’s loads of shade inside the bar and snack areas. The drinks are branded eg cola and sprite so my lot were happy! The alcoholic cocktails are really good and on the strong side!

Snack time is 12:30-5 and they have a selection of food like chips/chicken strips/nuggets/pizza/doner. Dinner is from 7 so you do have a two hour gap where you can’t get anything to eat but there is an icecream bar near the gym so you can grab one of those.

The gym is really good, my 18 year old son used it a couple of times, air conditioned and loads of water stocked up too.

I was really impressed with the water availability here, you could get a bottle of water at any time. There’s a big fridge in the main veranda where you can grab however many you want.

The beach is lovely and the sea is warm! We took water shoes and they came in handy because the beach is pebbly and it’s difficult to walk into the sea without hurting your feet.

Staff are friendly and courteous, the food is cleared away promptly after eating too.

There’s a couple of things I didn’t like about this resort which is why I gave 4 stars.

1. There are quite a few flies in the dining areas, I know you’re bound to get them but they were landing on the desserts and other foods like bread etc and it just put me off after a while. Maybe if they could cover the dessert or other control over them that would be better.

2. smoking!!

Everyone that smoked could smoke anywhere, even in the snack bar and bars at night (not in the main veranda food hall) but there’s no designated smoking areas. As I’m from the UK I found it weird because here you only smoke in areas you’re allowed to so you’re eating your lunch and someone lights up a cigarette and blows smoke over your food!! It was disgusting. None of us smoke and there was no consideration for non smokers. Everywhere you went you could smell someone smoking.

If there’s one thing I’d ask the hotel to change it would be to put in designated smoking areas 👍🏻

Overall we did have a fab time, we did the boat tour for half a day and that was worth it. Water sports are overpriced but if you fancy it there’s the hut on the beach just pop down there and they’ll sort it for you.

We visited here for the second time this year and i cannot rate it high enough, we stayed in the deluxe rooms, very spacious cleaned every day, fresh coffee and water topped up, the balcony is small but thats it. The staff are lovely, the pools are fab for the kids, eveything is altogether close to esch other so you always have view of your kids. the kids club is fab. the night entertainment amazing for both adults and children, if i have to be critical what spoils the children entertainment is that painful long hour you have to sit and wait for the children to go on stage to collect their T Shirts they had designed that day, one kid at a time, this spoils it for the other kids who didnt purchase one, also you have to be down at 6am to put a towel on the bed otherwise you wont get one. but other than this its ten out of ten, the food is lovely and fresh, there is a park at the rear of the restaurant where kids can play and eat but it is warm sitting there no air con, although there is air con in rest of restaurant. if you have kids below 10 id defo recommend this place, we may visit again next year and i am usually a one that likes to visit different places. but its so ideal here its hard to find anything better. its very clean which helps also.
