Not for couples

Stayed in a lagoon room on a ground floor room which was lovely. The room was decorated to a high standard and the outdoor swimming area was stunning. Mini bar stocked for arrival, free safe and free pool towels. Only downside, can hear neighbours in adjacent rooms so walls clearly aren’t very thick, including in bathroom! Maid service is very good with fresh towels daily.

The lagoon bar made fantastic drinks and the staff are very friendly, sandwiches and snacks available throughout the day.

The only issue we had with the swim of room was the amount of people using the lagoon pool, some we felt weren’t meant to be there. Only when we spoke to guest relations they said they carried out daily checks, however on the times that we were there we saw one staff member walking by once and how they would know that the people weren’t meant to be there we are unsure of, as you do not wear wristbands in this hotel. Considering the money paid for the ground floor swim up rooms they should section the areas off around each room which is easily doable.

We recommend booking the a la carte restaurants, especially the Asian, the waiter Soner is a credit.

The all-inclusive restaurant was like a cattle market, very stressful, very loud and a lot of unattended children running around, some screaming. The food was nice, we have had better in Turkey but cant complain. Queueing does not seem to be a thing here and people will quite happily push in front of you to get the food that they want. Best to avoid busy times in my opinion. The staff in the restaurant worked tirelessly and all credit to them, however they should have additional staff supporting waiting on tables as a lot of the time we had to go up and get our own drinks.

Some of the hotel does look tired and it is clear to see the lagoon side is more up-to-date than the other side of the hotel. The beach isn’t anything special and throughout our stay we didn’t bother going there but if you do make sure you take coral shoes with you as it’s not a sandy beach.

The lifeguard on the water slides should be fluent in other languages, including English. We witnessed him trying to speak to people to give instructions and nobody knew what he was saying as he only spoke Turkish? Dread to think if he needed to shout for help!!

Taxi rank at the bottom of the hotel and the reception staff will happily call one for you: Please be mindful that this hotel has no walkable facilities nearby, therefore if you want to visit any of the nearby towns you will have to get either a bus or a taxi there.

If you want to buy bags etc go to hisaronu, fethiye or calis, dont bother buying from the hotel shops as the prices are ridiculous! I bought a cap in hisaronu for £10, the hotel shop wanted £25 and i couldn’t haggle him down. Bag shop, he wanted £150 for a leather bag, same bag bought in hisaronu for £100! Granted they’re in a hotel but prices very inflated in my opinion. The onsite mini market/shop… very expensive! Would recommend going to supermarket when you are out and about. Much cheaper!

Also, take mosquito repellent. I recommend jungle formula max for turkey. Our room had a lot!! Would recommend closing the wall vent in the bathroom and putting a towel under gap in the door.

I feel all the lagoon rooms should be adult only, would definitely make for a more relaxing stay.

If you’re wanting a quiet holiday where you can wonder out on foot locally then this isn’t the place for you.

Great, large outdoor space, lovely, hard working staff and very clean rooms

I really enjoyed my time at the Club Tuana, the reception area is a welcoming space upon arrival.

The outdoor spaces are a joy to walk through and I never had any issues with getting sunbeds.

Every member of staff that works at Club Tuana are an absolute credit to the hotel. Always smiling, extremely hard working and very polite unlike some of the guests who behave like animals.

The food is good quality with lots of variation and you will never have a problem finding a table for you and your family.

There is a good mix of daytime entertainment and some quieter times, the balance is perfect. The evening entertainment is good fun with a variety of acts for all age groups.

Lovely bit of paradise.

All round clean, well kept resort. Areas all throughout were spotless. Staff helpful especially reception. The food is lovely and plenty to eat throughout the day until 2am. Rooms in Siena have just been modernised. Look great. The areas around are green and lush. Plenty of bird life, lizards, frogs, fish and turtle ponds. The beach is pebbles so buy beach shoes. Taxi and bus stop right outside if you want the next town . I'd go again.

Not quite 5* but is a lovely

Went for a week - 4 adults & a 3 year old . The hotel is spotless throughout - including rooms, pool area and surrounding areas. Gardens are excellent The staff are hit & miss - most do not acknowledge you, say ‘good morning’, nod or even smile - which is disappointing. The animation team on the other hand are excellent -very energetic , friendly , not overpowering and very helpful . The room was nice , very clean, toiletries , dressing gowns & slippers provided - slight criticism would be no balcony/ patio as such - tiny and only room for 1 chair (obvs depends on which room you have). Food is excellent and plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters . The main restaurant gets very busy, so chose your visit time wisely. Pool snack bar is nice and serves similar food to the main restaurant at lunchtime , but on a much smaller scale We went to the Roma Italian à la carte one evening - food and service excellent . Pool areas are nice and kept clean - need to be up early to get a sunbed! Good playlists throughout the day around the pool - kept to a reasonable volume ! . We rented a cabana on the beach on one day (£150)- was lovely .. there are some for £60 but not as nice . The beach is very pebbly so take beach shoes. The clothes shop in the hotel is a complete rip off - with an extremely rude shopkeeper - get a taxi to Callis ((approx £15)- far better choice and price ! The location is quite remote and there is nowhere in the surrounding area to walk to . However the hotel & itself is grounds are so nice there’s no reason to leave ! All in all we had a really lovely week and would recommend . In our view it’s just not quite a 5* as not as polished as some 5* hotels we’ve visited in Turkey - but nonetheless it is a really nice hotel
