This hotel is located on the hillside over Akyarlar Bay, which has been selected as one of the top 15 beaches in the world by Forbes Magazine. The resort has a unique view of the Greek island of Kos across the Aegean Sea. Stylish and modern, it offers a choice of bars and eateries, including a cafe, restaurant and disco. For the business minded there are a number of meeting rooms, a business centre and wireless Internet access. The hotel has a total of 4 swimming pools, 3 of which are outdoors, including an activities pool, a children's swimming area and an aqua park. Guests can relax by the poolside snack bar or make use of the sun lounges and parasols on the sun terrace. Plenty of sport activities and facilities are available to sport enthusiasts.
Service at the restaurant was perfect. Thanks to Fatih Balam. Always Nice, smiling, super service. Thank you Fatih! Leila Hassani
We stayed at Kefaluka Resort in August 2025 as a family (2 adults and 1 child), and we had a fantastic holiday from start to finish.
The first thing that impressed us was the stunning sea view. Whether from our balcony, the swimming pool, the elevators, or many areas around the resort, the scenery was simply breathtaking.
The beach was beautiful, clean, and offered plenty of activities. We really enjoyed the water sports such as canoeing, paddleboarding, diving, and many more. There was always something fun to do.
Our son absolutely loved the Kids Club. The staff were friendly and caring, and the playground was perfectly adapted for younger children. The evening entertainment was also fantastic, especially when the children were invited on stage to join the dances. These moments created unforgettable family memories.
A special thank you to the entertainment team, who were always smiling and full of energy. They regularly encouraged guests to join football, volleyball, water polo, and many other activities. They made everyone feel welcome and created a great atmosphere where it was easy to meet other guests.
The food was another highlight of our stay. The buffet offered a huge variety of delicious dishes every day, and the à la carte restaurants were excellent. We tried the Mexican restaurant, which was absolutely delicious. The presentation and flavors were outstanding, and I’ll be sharing a few photos of our meal.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family stay.
The swimming pool was also excellent, and the panoramic sea views from the pool, the balconies, and even the elevators made the experience even more special.
We also appreciated the shuttle service to Bodrum city center, which made exploring the area very easy.
The only downside during our stay was the elevators. At busy times, the waiting time could be quite long, which was sometimes inconvenient when using a stroller.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Kefaluka Resort. The beautiful location, excellent facilities, delicious food, friendly staff, and outstanding entertainment made our family holiday unforgettable.
We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun family vacation in Bodrum. Thank you to the entire Kefaluka Resort team—we hope to visit again in the future!
Our stay at this hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences.
On the positive side, the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. There is evening entertainment for children every day, which families will appreciate, and there are pleasant outdoor areas where adults can relax in the evening.
Unfortunately, there were also several issues that significantly affected our stay.
The biggest problem was the Wi-Fi. It worked very poorly throughout the hotel, and in many areas there was no signal at all. Even when it did connect, the connection kept dropping, and we constantly had to register again to use the internet.
Many staff members had difficulty understanding English, which made even simple requests frustrating. It was also impossible to reach room service or other hotel departments directly from the room. The only number that worked was the reception operator, who repeatedly told us they could not resolve most issues.
The elevators were also very confusing. We would press the button to go down, but the elevator would go up first, resulting in long waiting times.
Our room had almost no storage space. There were no shelves or drawers for clothes or personal belongings—only one very small bedside table.
One experience at the restaurant was especially disappointing. Our children went to eat by themselves, and they were treated with little attention. Their food took a very long time to arrive, and the drinks were only served after they reminded the staff for the second time. Before that, they had been waiting for about 30 minutes.
The food selection was also disappointing. The menu was almost the same every day, with very little variety. Another small but noticeable issue was that the hotel only served Pepsi products—there was no Coca-Cola available.
Overall, while the hotel has some good features, such as spacious rooms and family-friendly evening entertainment, the service, Wi-Fi, and overall organization need significant improvement. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.
We have stayed at about 15 resorts in Turkey. This one was really one of the best for a variety of reasons. Good: Food was excellent. I mean really very very good. Lamb Chops, Tenderloin, Doner, fish, fruit, sweet cherries, etc. Just a really pleasure and no skimping on selection. Deserts were just overwhelming. The baklava was fantastic and again no skimping on nuts! Very well made. (wife is Turkish and she was very impressed with the baklava!). The entertainment varied and was good but not great/not bad. The gym was good enough to get a good workout. They had excellent workouts from spin to yoga to hanging hammock type thing. Wife loved it. Volleyball, waterpolo was good. Archery, soccer, etc. Drinks good. Rooms were very nice. Air conditioning was perfect. Give aways in room were really nice from shaving kits to toothbrush kits. Hamam and massages were good. Al la carte was nice (Turkish one) View was fantastic. Beach was good and docks not ridiculously crowded (could find seats usually). Wish I knew the names (Ege 18-year-old my son really liked him) A frizzy haired girl ran a lot of the entertainment and was just a pleasure to deal with, but I don't know her name! Shame on me. BAD: Internet was not the best. Could get service but spotty at times and frustrating sometimes. Sometimes good. Service was excellent. Maids very attentive.
Now this is a bit far from the airport so that can be a long taxi ride. We had a car so it wasn't any issue for us. We rarely go to the same resort twice but we will come back to this one. Price was excellent for what you got. Highly recommend this resort.
We returned to the Kefaluka after 4 years and had a great holiday. The management are gradually improving the hotel and the changes to the beach area and piers have made it a much more attractive area with lots of loungers and space. The dining area has also had a facelift which is lovely. There are further improvements planned which will benefit the hotel greatly.
The staff are definitely a great asset to the hotel. Cleaning/housekeeping staff constantly around and do a great job keeping the hotel spotless. Special mention to Ibrahim - a great waiter on the various restaurants, very friendly and welcoming even when he had toothache! He even gave us info on shopping for football strips etc to bring home - thanks Ibrahim 🤩 and Ramazan - head waiter in the à la carte restaurants. Muhterem in the coffee area/patisserie always cheery and smiling when I got my iced coffee.
The entertainment team were excellent- Vako (pronounced whacko!) is such a happy, cheerful guy and so friendly - encouraging you to participate but not pushy about it - always stopped to say hello and have a quick chat and a laugh. Nazmi is learning from him - a good example of a mentor! Very hard working team.
Also shout out to the bar staff on the lobby/terrace bar area - Eren and Kezban - and their colleague who's name I didn't take a note of! However, she is in the photos I have attached so management can recognize her! 😆 They were always friendly, got to know our drinks order very quickly and even helped me when trying to speak in Turkish - thank you. Compliments to the guest relations staff - Furkan Tiyek, Irem Su (trainee - doing very well so far) and Berk (manager) - always happy to help and be as accommodating as possible for à la carte bookings and late check out. Probably one of the most friendly guest relations team we have met in the various hotels we have been to. Heated pool was a great bonus for our first week.
There are a couple areas that we felt could be improved and once completed I'm sure you would have more return guests. I'm sure these will be on the 'to do' list that Management already have as they are planning on refurbishment -
air con - we went in early May and as the temperatures increased we weren't able to reduce the room temperature to our desired temperature as it was still set on the hotel's winter control which we couldn't override. This should be available for the guests to control as it can be set for a higher temperature too. No walk in showers yet however we were give a small step that helped get over the edge of the bath. The safe (which is free to use) was very low for access - when rooms are being refurbished I would suggest placing them at a more accessible height.
Overall we had a great time and would be happy to return.
