Iv loved my experience at aquasis all the entertainment staff are the best especially Tiger I would 100% recommend aquasis everything is on site so you dont really have to leave

Our review following a 14 night stay, family of 5 (15 of us in total staying in our group) it's a long, but mostly positive 🙃

The hotel is beautiful; cleaners always polishing, sweeping, cleaning toilets. There are signs of wear & tear but minimal considering the size of the place. Took us a good 2 days to suss the place out and find our bearings. The room we had, a land view deluxe family room, was more than spacious enough for my husband, 15yo, 10yo, 5yo and I. There was one king bed and three full size single beds. It's been mentioned the beds are like concrete to sleep on, we did not think this and slept well. No balcony on this type of room there was however an airing rack for drying things in the room. There are double sided wardrobes and I took extra hangers with us for hanging clothes and glad I did after reading someone else's review. There are two TVs in the room, we did not use these as we were only in the room to sleep/afternoon nap/change. Shower/bathroom were both good and no issues. Housekeeping came daily, swept, mopped, made beds, clean towels & restocked the fridge. On our first morning it was our daughters 10th birthday and they left balloons and decorated the beds with swans from towels and lots of flowers/petals. It was a beautiful touch and our daughter was delighted.

The restaurant caters, in my opinion, for even the most fussy eater. The food was vast and we never struggled to find something to eat here. We never had a bad food option/night. We were never ill from anything we ate and people seemed very respectful of using the appropriate tools for picking up food. The waiters for table service for drinks was a bit hit or miss and this didn't change whether you tipped or not, this was not an issue for us as we still have legs to get up and sort ourselves. The pool snack bar which is where we ate on our first night after arriving at 11.15pm was ok however much preferred the Kebab House for snacking much nicer, Kebab alternated between chicken and lamb donner and both were so good.

Bars are plentiful. Days would be spent back and forth between the pool bar and the beach bar depending on where we were parked for the day. Cocktails are pretty crap imo however, the lobby bar where our full party of 15 met each night before heading for food, was so much better. The beer we found to be nice. The shots were in full flow some nights too 😅🫣 We found the lake house bar to be fab also. Had friends staying here so a few days we spent here enjoying a different area.

Whilst here, Oktober Fest was held down near the sunset rooms and this was a great day, the food was fantastic, the games and fun we had was just fab.

The main pool & lake house pools are cold but we didn't mind this at all. The kids splash pool, part of the main pool and the shallow pool are all warmer with being slightly heated. Towels and sunbeds were never an issue. The water slides are fab, our kids loved these! Kids splash pool was good too.

The entertainment is late and most nights we were shattered after the day and never even made it to 9.30pm so we missed quite a bit. The entertainment team were a bit hit & miss and could imo do more. Shout out to GiGi though who was fantastic with our kids. The pool foam party on Monday at 5pm was a good laugh!

Kids club was one of the best we've come across. Soft play area, craft area, chill area, cinema room, al secured exit and the children will not be released unless specified by you until a member of staff has called you on WhatsApp.

Games centre was good. Put credits on a card and use them on what you want.

The beach was our personal favourite, sunbeds could be found at anytime, the sand a bit gritty but the water temp was so nice. Tad rocky getting into the water at parts but once in, the sand was lovely. So many fish to see with the water being so clear. Pier jumping was a favourite for our party. If you aren't keen on fishes, don't jump, they swarm around you. The water sports we indulged in. 9 of is did the Hurricane and WOW! Not for the faint hearted!! The Banana Boat for 8 of us was another brilliant laugh. We opted to not bother with the Cabanas just through spending money elsewhere and there being so many of us.

Second day here I went to the spa and booked for a massage. After it I was advised I had some fused muscles and was holding a lot of body fluid (I knew this prior to coming). I booked for a course of a further 5 treatments, shiatsu & lymphatic drainage, absolutely worth every single penny. 90mins for 6 days was pure bliss and the no migraine/headaches from the fused muscles is fantastic.

Also on our second day I chose to nip into the tattoo parlour Poseidon ink Aquasis on site after reading of it's award winning status. They designed and showed me my design from my head and I had this done on our final night. I was so blown away with how my tattoo tuned out, I welled up when it was revealed. My tattoo was a large one that was around a three hour sitting but worth it and the money I paid. This has been a highlight in my holiday.

The shops on site are good. The gift shop is reasonably priced. The food shop is overpriced compared to Didim town. A big floaties was being priced at 80€ 😅 take your own like we did!! Take Foldable buckets (we bought from amazon before coming) for the kids, these were extortionate also. The trainer shop on site is pretty decent as is the clothes shop depending on what you're looking for. The jewellery shop is beautiful, my husband bought a Tag watch that is gorgeous and he was delighted with his purchase.

We had two nights (magician night & bluey night) and one afternoon at Topkapi the Beach Restaurant in Didim and this was brilliant. We are also now part of the Guinness World record for olive oil tasting that took place when we were here! Food was nice, cocktails were really good (Kiwi Daiquiri 😍) and the staff were fantastic. We went shopping a few times and got some great deals with it coming to the end of season (may or may not have been good deals but we were more than happy). We got free pick up & drop off back to the hotel on all three occasions. We used the Dolmus (no.7) from the hotel once which cost a few £ and it dropped us right next to the shopping centre - enter here at your own risk 🤣 my ears and nerves were shot after this. We were dragged in every direction and it was an experience to say the least! Stand your ground in here guys or you'll come out needing to remortgage your home or sell a kidney!

Before coming, I researched private boat companies. Aegean Blue Cruise were who we chose as a party of 15 (8A, 2T & rest under 10) and we had the absolute BEST day. The boat set off at 9.45am and we returned at 4pm. We swam at different locations, we drank lots, the food was beautiful and we really did have the most wonderful day.

To sum up our holiday, it's been one of our best to date, the weather has been brilliant bar 2-3 days where it was overcast (still like 21⁰ and coming for where we do in Scotland, this is still tropical!) And watching the thunderstorms was so nice. To have 15 of us in a our full party and not one complaint, that is a win in my eyes! I would rate the hotel to be a 4*. We would maybe one day return however we like to visit different places.

Unfortunately, this hotel has not lived up to the reviews we read before booking, and our experience so far has been incredibly disappointing.

We are a family of four staying for two weeks, arriving in the early hours of Monday morning. The room is simply not suitable for four people. It has a double bed and a single bed, with a sofa bed that was clearly not an adequate solution for our family. There is a complete lack of storage and the fridge doesn’t work.

We raised our concerns with reception on Monday and were told to return on Tuesday. When we did, the receptionist spoke to the manager, who immediately stated that the hotel was fully booked without even checking a computer. We were left feeling as though our concerns were being dismissed rather than properly considered.

The hotel eventually swapped the sofa for a single camp bed, which is only marginally better and incredibly uncomfortable. I emailed the hotel on Wednesday to explain our concerns and ask for a suitable resolution. We even offered to pay extra for an upgrade, as we simply want to be comfortable for the remainder of our holiday. As of writing this review, we have received absolutely no response. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely disappointing.

What makes this even more upsetting is that this is the only holiday we will have this year. We have spent our hard-earned money looking forward to two weeks away as a family, only to find ourselves worrying about uncomfortable sleeping arrangements and chasing the hotel for a response. We are not asking for anything unreasonable, just suitable accommodation for four people and a willingness to help resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the poor customer service doesn't stop there.

Today, my son had been using the PlayStation but became fed up and still had 15 minutes remaining of the time we had paid for. My husband kindly offered the remaining time to two young children. However, the man working there came storming over and took the controller straight out of the children's hands, insisting it was only for the child who had paid. My husband asked where the rules regarding this were displayed, at which point the man claimed he couldn't speak English. This was particularly frustrating as the time we had paid for had not even run out.

The whole incident felt unnecessarily confrontational and was a really disappointing way to treat young children. A little kindness and common sense would have gone a long way. Overall, this has not been the family-friendly experience we were hoping for. Mistakes and problems can happen at any hotel, but what matters is how they are handled. In our experience, the communication, customer service and willingness to resolve issues have been seriously lacking.

We still have a significant part of our holiday left, and it is devastating that what should be a relaxing and enjoyable family break has been overshadowed by these issues.

I genuinely hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes an effort to put things right, but based on our experience so far, we are extremely disappointed.
