We've been in late August at the hotel, we were two families with 2 kids, ages from 4 to 12. It has been a very nice holiday for all of us, firstly kids have fun with aquaparks , 4 -7 years old two boys have kids aqua parks grown up 9-12 one has adult aqua park both are them have too much fun. During the day animation team are hard workers to do lots of thing to make your day, Animation Management team doing an amazing job with their team.
We stayed at standart hotel room, 2 adult 2 kids 2 rooms, Room space is more than enough with balcony and has partially Seaview. Pool always clean and cool which is good during the hot summer days. Sea side , incredibly big, long , some part sandy some part rocky and there is long pier. Foods, all buffets are nice with various kinds of food, tastes good &delicious. Bar; The bars are ok but they should serve same brands all the time at all the bars. You can find well known brands in lobby bar 7/24, Sea side bar between 20:00-02:00 , pool bar some of the brands exist some of them never available.(I can not write the names due to regulations.) And the worst thing is while you made your reservation also check even you asked to responsible they can or do not provide an exact answer about spirit brands and availability. It is always good to know before you pay and get the service or goods, maybe this is the only thing that I can say negative but not the end of the world :)
The Best thing for Hotel is, Even you have an issue or request, it doesn't matter who you expressed it too, the all employees intention is solve the issue or response your request according to your needs. This approach is priceless while you are in a holiday.
Thanks to hotel management, special Thanks to Animation team ( especially for 30 August Anniversary day activities during the day and night), whole staff ( even they were exhausted they still trying to make your day. Hope we will meet next year again.
Finally, special thanks to F&B management&Team , they made a very big gesture to our fisherman son.
Firstly we have had a lovely time here as a family. Find it tricky to review as some areas its brilliant but others it doesn't quite hit the mark as a 5* Our first visit to Turkey so we dont have anything to compare to, just other countries we have been to.
The facilities are good, everything within hotel grounds so no need to leave the complex. Shops, mini market, hairdressers, clothes shop ect.
Our room in the main building, land view, was perfect. It was really spacious and a beautiful sunrise view. I did pop into a lake house top floor room, to collect medication, and the size difference shocked me, they were extremely small compared to ours. Beds made and clean towels but floor wasn't moped once. We also had an ant problem on arrival but they sent someone within the hour to spray and re clean the floor.
The mini bar refills were done very early, often my sons were still asleep so we didnt get any refill due to this, we did ask for it to be done later in the day but out of a 10 night stay it was refilled 3 times.
Our first week here was tricky to find a sunbed after 9am, we like to be by the 120 pool for my youngest as he could stand in that one. Unfortunately it was mainly the brits sunbed blocking super early, especially pool side. I am naturally an early riser so instead of enjoying a coffee on the balcony and having a slower morning, I would come to the pool at 7 30/8, and have a coffee on the sunbeds instead. This did calm down further into the holiday though.
If youre not fussy on where to sit it shouldn't be a problem
Now food, the choice was good and varied in my opinion. The main buffet was absolute carnage!! Breakfast and evening were the worse! Its almost like people were in panic mode that food would run out! Children running riot, grabbing at food with hands and not using the utensils, people pushing in even though there was clearly a queue for things. No manners at all, the amount of rude people we encountered was shocking! It was especially bad on the turkish holiday, lots of day only guests that seemed to think they had a priority. It didnt matter what time we tried, it was always the same. Very thankful for one of the waiters, Hamzil Ibrahim, in the yarut seating area during the evening. He would spot us and quickly make a table for us. He was brilliant, and knew our drinks by the 2nd night. A credit to the hotel. We liked the Italian at lunch, nice to be sat with a sea view, being served at the table and away from the disaster that is the buffet. Pool snack bar did good jacket potato and then chips, chicken, burger ect but we prefer to walk to the beach snack bar if not using the Italian We did the sukura and picante a la carte and enjoyed them, was just lovely to sit and enjoy the view and food without the anxiety the main buffet creates.
We didnt watch any shows so cant comment on that, we enjoyed the beach bar in the evening with DJ Ivanna, just wished she stayed a bit later, she was fantastic. The staff there were also fun. Laid back vibes, sunset in the background, and a few card games before heading to bed
Special mention to the cleaning lads around the pool, constantly trying to clean up after lazy guests, that seem to not beable to find a bin!
Overall we have enjoyed our time together as a family, the hotel is nice, maybe we are not used to such a large hotel, with a large number of guests, and added to that, day pass guests, just gives the feel of overcrowded. The buffet certainly let's this hotel down, pure rudenss and so chaotic, more to do with the guests than the staff though
Just left hotel from a 7 night stay.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. There were definitely some positives and negatives during our stay, but the children’s entertainment and facilities made it an enjoyable holiday.
On arrival, the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, which gave us a great first impression of the hotel.
À la carte restaurants
Unfortunately, the à la carte restaurants were a bit of a let-down. From the second day of our holiday, they were already fully booked, and I struggled to get a reservation. I eventually managed to book the Kebab House. The food was okay, but the children’s platter was basically the same food that was already being served in the main restaurant. The main meals were nice enough, but overall I didn’t feel the experience was anything particularly special.
Main restaurant
The main restaurant had a good variety of food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff worked extremely hard, especially considering how busy the restaurant could get with families and children.
Deluxe swim-up room
We stayed in a Deluxe Swim-Up Room, and I would definitely recommend these rooms if you are travelling with children. It was great not having to get up early to reserve a sunbed, as we had our own space right outside the room.
The only downside was that our block was in the shade for most of the day. Personally, I enjoy relaxing in the sunshine, so if I hadn’t been travelling with young children, I probably would have complained. However, for my children, having some shade was actually a positive.
Beach bar
The beach bar was a great place for a chilled and relaxing evening. One of the waiters was particularly lovely and was a pleasure to meet during our stay.
Waterpark
The waterpark was fantastic for the children and definitely one of the highlights of the holiday.
Beach huts
The beach huts were amazing and I would give them 5 stars. They were very relaxing, and the staff member who looked after us on Monday was excellent.
Drinks
The drinks at the hotel were okay overall. I personally felt that the bar around the swim-up rooms served the best drinks, and they seemed much better than those available at the 24-hour bar.
Negatives
The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of our Deluxe Swim-Up Room. The room was not cleaned thoroughly during our stay, and we had to request cleaning numerous times. Even then, this mainly involved making the beds, providing fresh towels and toilet paper. The sheets were not changed, and the floors were not cleaned during our stay.
As we were travelling with a young child, this was particularly concerning due to the mess young children can make and the importance of keeping the floors clean.
I also had an unpleasant experience with one member of staff at reception. I didn’t catch his name, but he had longer hair. His attitude and manner were very poor, especially for someone working front of house at a tourist hotel. He spoke to me disrespectfully and rolled his eyes while I was simply trying to book a beach hut and spend additional money at the hotel. I felt that he should have shown much better manners and respect towards guests.
Overall
Despite the negatives, I would recommend this hotel for families with children. There was plenty of entertainment throughout the day and evening, lots of activities for children, and the kids’ club was good. The waterpark was also a huge bonus.
There are definitely areas that could be improved, particularly the room cleaning and availability of the à la carte restaurants, but overall we had an enjoyable holiday and the hotel has a lot to offer families.
Just returned from a week at Aquasis as a family for four (kids 9 and 4), so thought I’d share an honest review.
Room- we had a sea view room, second floor in the main building. Beds were rock hard, but we have found this to be the case in several hotels in Turkey so it didn’t spoil anything for us. View was amazing and overall had no complaints about the room: Towels were changed daily, fridge re-stocked 5 out of the 7 days but don’t think the floor was swept once which was the only negative thing for us relating to the room.
Pools- poor areas were vast, well kept and had no problems….nice lively atmosphere with constant music which is what we prefer on holiday. Onsite waterpark and splash park was fantastic.
Staff - completely 50/50: Some couldn’t be happier or more helpful , whereas others were rude, miserable and abrupt - but this is seen across every hotel I’ve ever stayed in so I never let this get to me.
Food- I found the buffet restaurant to be excellent. No complaints at all and always something for everyone to enjoy. Snack bar wasn’t to my taste, felt it was very poor quality unhealthy food but served a purpose for the kids (the fried chicken was the food highlight of their holiday 😂). We visited the Italian at lunch time on a few occasions, first time everything was beautiful but noted at other visits, when busier, the staff seemed to struggle with demand and the food wasn’t as good , so overall it seemed fairly inconsistent.
À la carte- this was the biggest problem for us as unfortunately the ones we wanted to go to were all fully booked. We arrived late at night tried from first thing next day but only seafood was available which was no good to us for the kids. We tried several times after this with no luck. We spoke to so many people who had the same problem and for me it seems unacceptable to advertise services that can not be delivered. Some people stated they turned up at the Mexican and were allowed in anyway, and those who did have a booking stated the restaurant was empty during their visit. Another person stated they were told the Mexican was booked until October 😂🤷♀️, so not sure what’s going on but overall it was a huge disappointment for us.
Drinks - this was the biggest let down. Really poor quality spirits. Even when asking for Smirnoff, it was obviously a cheaper brand decanted into the Smirnoff bottle. The wine was hideous and cocktails were sweet, with sugary awful mixers, so could only have beer or soft drinks most of the week.
Entertainment - Evening was awful if I’m being honest: watched one show and it was really poor so didn’t bother returning , and felt a 9.45 was too late for our 4 yearold. But day time was great. Really lively and the animation team work so hard getting everyone involved and enjoying themselves.
So to conclude we did really enjoy our week. it’s a lovely clean hotel in a great location. But the à la carte situation and the poor drinks quality were the two big let down factors. Overall; we would be unlikely to return any time soon.
The entertainment crew was great! Aleja was wonderful! She was great with the kids!
