We went here because we were misled by the 'bungalow' name as we have stayed somewhere before which had separate bungalows, which are ground floor rooms only with a little piece of lawn outside. Here they are not anything like a bungalow, being a 4 or 5 floor block of rooms all joined together. (We also needed a rail and steps access into the pool as my wife is semi-disabled and cannot do the vertical ladder up out of the pool, and both pools have easy access.) That said it is all quite lovely, the gardens are well kept and the line of trees towards the beach is nice, although the brick paving could have been a bit smoother for our wheelchair. It is kept very clean and tidy, you often see people going around with a mop, and little is picked up regularly from the flower pots provided. Although the site looks big in the pictures, it is not that large, we found it easy to get about as it is mainly flat and you can use the lifts to get up one floor to the lobby or reception or walk up the 24 steps. Our room was near reception, the coffee bar and the lifts, and was disabled friendly as we requested from Tui. The bathroom area had no shelves to put anything even though shower gel and soap was provided, there was no light near the shower area, or a plug in the sink which made it hard to wash. You put your toilet paper in a bin and not down the toilet, like in Greece. The rooms are well sound proofed but you can hear children screaming in the corridors, the space under the tv needs some sort of vanity unit with a drawer rather than just a shelf. The unit neat to the fridge (free mini-bar-nice) could have 4 drawers not 2, the same for the bedside units. As our patio was quite large even with 2 sunbeds we could have done with a light there, as we sat outside some evenings. After a few days we grew tired of the noisy main pool and moved over to the children's pool which slowly gets deeper as you walk in, but if you keep going it gets to 1.5m! Here nearby they have slides and 2 tubes, both of which I got stuck in, perhaps it's mainly for kids and not fully grown men. The lazy river tube ride is great. About 500 yards away left outside the hotel and down a steep slope is a parade of shops which sell most things for tourists. The cigarettes here are a bit cheaper than in the hotel shops at the Arena, and they prefer Euros to Liras which we took but they can convert for you. In the Arena jewelry shop they had some nice Brietling watches for only 180 Euros instead of 6000 Euros so be aware! The food is plentiful and desserts all mainly sweet but excellently presented, well done kitchen staff who are very friendly like everybody else. We had a great time even though there were only about 6 other English people there. If you land at Antalya airport be prepared to do some walking as it is huge!
