Fantastic holiday, fantastic staff
Another fab holiday, was treated just like family. We have returned from a 2 week holiday, we was a group of 10. The staff here are fabulous and go above and beyond to make sure your holiday is the best. Huge shout out to Yaz, Ahmet and Emir, and the rest of the staff. Will definitely be returning!
great hotel and beatiful location
We had a really pleasant stay at Melissa Garden Hotel! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel offers great value for money and is not expensive at all considering what it has to offer.
The location is also beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by bazaars, so there are plenty of shops and things to see nearby, and the whole area has a great atmosphere.
The hotel itself is very beautiful and well-designed, and the swimming pools were definitely one of our favorite parts. The staff were also incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Melissa Garden Hotel and would happily come back again! 😊🌴
Great Hotel - will return!
We booked a last-minute holiday at Melissa Gardens, and I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this hotel deserved one!
From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt very warm and welcoming. The staff were really friendly, the food was amazing, and reception were always incredibly helpful and greeted us with a smile. 😊
The hotel itself was clean and exactly what we expected from a 2-star hotel, so we were very happy with our room. It had everything we needed to enjoy a great holiday.
Yes, there are some extras that you have to pay for, but personally I think this is quite normal for this type of hotel, so I’m not really sure why some people complain about this.
My only recommendation would be for management to look at the way guests are approached about eating at the hotel in the evening. We sometimes felt pressured when walking past the main pool area, as we were regularly asked about eating at the hotel. For some members of our family this became quite stressful, to the point where we sometimes used the back entrance to avoid the conversation.
I completely understand that the hotel wants to promote its food and evening meals, but guests should be able to walk around the hotel without feeling pressured. A more relaxed approach from staff would make the experience much more comfortable and is something I hope the hotel can address.
Would I go back? Absolutely! 😀 The hotel has a really lovely, friendly atmosphere, and I could easily see us returning for two weeks next year.

Truly didn't disappoint!
We booked this place 2 weeks before arrival as a last minute holiday. It did not disappoint. We're so sad to be leaving! My favourite was by far the guy with the eyebrow piercing. So lovely to my 2 year old son. Yaz went out of his way to help us locate cash points and was an overall lovely person. We stayed on the quieter side through the day, the bartender on that side (will) went above and beyond every time. The food was gorgeous, especially the chicken fillet. Cheaper doesn’t always mean less
Our travel day was a nightmare we were delayed almost 5 hours, we checked in at 2am and Yaz was amazing, he was aware we were running late and kept the kitchen open for us to ensure we ate, bringing the food to our room. The food is exceptional, freshly cooked and the portion sizes are massive, every night the have specials, buy one get one free and happy hour in cocktails as well as themed nights including bingo, line dancing, karaoke and foam party… the foam party was amazing with the staff ending up in the pool with the guests my kids had such a good time.
Throughout the week we got to know all the staff who really go out of the way to look after the guests, Ahmet and Emir were amazing I spent a lot of time chatting with Ahmet laughing and joking my kids loved them both, but for me Ahmet went above and beyond daily and Alcyeca the life guard was always playing with the kids.
The complex is set back from the shops on the main road, the hotel is split into the main area with the pool and slide and the far side which is quieter and has a second pool, the second pool is 6ft deep and does not have a life guard, our room 802 was on the the far side, it was peaceful, had a double balcony and as it was on the ground floor we could keep our aircon on and use balcony doors to access the room, the site is secure and the rooms cleaned daily. The actual location is perfect 5 minute walk to the beach, bus stop outside with the shuttle bus that will drive you into side for a euro one way per person, numerous shops, pharmacy and plenty of clothes shops within a minute walk from the hotel.
Just be aware WiFi is £10 for 7 days for 3 devices and air conditioning is £8 a day, all food and drink can be charged to the room and paid at the end of your stay. Overall would I go back? …. in a heart beat. It’s not the glitz and glam of some of the mega hotels in Side, but what it lacks aesthetically it’s made up for by the staff who are all personable and genuinely care that you and the family have a good time.
