Absolutely — I’d add it into the room section like this: Writing We chose this hotel mainly because it was the cheapest in the area and close to Alara Grand Bazaar, which is amazing for cheap shopping, but unfortunately you can definitely see why this hotel is cheaper. The biggest issue is the rooms. We’re on the 5th floor and our bathroom constantly smells of sewage/poo. My parents are on the lobby floor and theirs is even worse — they have to keep the toilet lid down and bathroom door shut to try to contain the smell. Our kettle is broken and leaks water everywhere, there’s a huge chip in the sink, and my mum’s bathroom door handle actually came off. The shower constantly changes between hot and cold, the bedsheets feel like sandpaper and the corridors are unbearably hot. You’re not even given proper coffee mugs in the rooms, just paper cups, which makes it feel very cheap. We also booked a pool-view room, but from the 5th floor you can barely actually see the pool. There are also no English TV channels at all, only German, despite us trying to change all the settings. The Wi-Fi is also terrible. We can never get Wi-Fi in our room on the 5th floor and you can barely get a decent connection around the rest of the hotel either, which is really frustrating. The food selection is okay, but we’ve definitely had much better at other hotels in Turkey. There isn’t much variety between meals, strangely no scrambled eggs at breakfast and no ice cream for dessert. You’re also not allowed to take food outside the restaurant areas, even food from the pool bar, which seems a bit ridiculous when you’re spending the day around the pool. The pools are probably one of the best parts of the hotel. They’re nice, there are slides, plenty of daytime activities, they allow inflatables and pool balls, and there are lots of cushioned sun loungers. There is only one pool bar though. Evening entertainment hasn’t been great and there’s nowhere near enough seating. If you don’t get there early, you end up sitting on a sun lounger far away. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. We stayed at Litore Hotel next door three years ago and, in comparison, it was 10x better. If we returned to this area, I would definitely pay the extra and stay there instead. Add the paper-cup complaint
Absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. No problem with getting loungers. Pools were amazing. Big shout out to the animation team especially Diya, Karina, Lina and Polina. Bar staff were brilliant. Fantastic hotel, will be revisiting.🥰🥰🥰
⭐ Very Disappointing Experience – Beautiful Hotel, Terrible Food & Service We stayed at this hotel as a group of 6 and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what is the point of paying around £3,000 for a holiday when there is barely any decent food to eat? The food was terrible and the same every day, with very little variety. At times, we even had to go to the beach bar just so our child could have a pizza because there was nothing suitable to eat in the main restaurant. The Italian à la carte restaurant is a joke. The food was terrible, the service was poor and some of the staff were extremely rude. I would honestly recommend avoiding it. The Guest Relations Manager was also very rude and dismissive. When I explained that the food was terrible, he told me that I couldn't use the word "terrible" and said that he eats at the same restaurant every day and thinks it's fine, questioning why we were complaining. This is absolutely not the way to respond to paying guests who are genuinely unhappy. The internet constantly dropped, which was very frustrating. Housekeeping was another major disappointment. During our one-week stay, towels were not changed properly and we repeatedly had to call reception to ask for clean ones. The floor was left very dirty, especially with sand after going to the beach, and even after complaining, the same thing happened the following day. There was also no regular refill of water, tea, coffee or cups. Housekeeping basically made the beds and emptied the bins. We even left tips every day, but the service did not improve. Unfortunately, on the last day of our stay, all 6 of us became seriously ill with what appeared to be food poisoning. It was absolutely awful, especially having to travel a long way home while feeling so unwell. We cannot say with certainty what caused it, but the timing made the experience even worse. The positives ❤️ The bar staff were fantastic and honestly made our holiday much better. A special thank you to Sude from the Lobby Bar, who was amazing, Ihsan from the Main Restaurant, and Serdar from the Pool Bar. They were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the management seriously needs to improve the food and housekeeping. This was honestly the first holiday in my life where I couldn't wait to get back home. I would not recommend booking this hotel. You may regret it.
Stayed here for a week and honestly had a great time. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and the staff were really friendly throughout the whole stay. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the entertainment, which kept me and my brothers busy in the day.
One of the best parts was meeting some really nice people there, which made the whole holiday even more enjoyable.
The only downside for me was the location — it’s quite a distance from the airport and there isn't loads to do around the hotel, so it's more of a stay-at-the-resort type of holiday.
Overall though, we really enjoyed it and I’d definitely consider coming back. Good hotel, the animators were very nice and a really nice atmosphere.
Hotel Review
I had the most amazing time at this hotel and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, everyone was so welcoming, and I had such an incredible holiday filled with memories I’ll never forget. I’m already counting down until I can come back! ❤️
I especially want to mention the animation team — Diya, Karina, Lina and Polina. They were honestly the highlight of my holiday. They were all so kind, funny, welcoming and full of energy, and they made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning. They always made an effort to include everyone and made every day so much more enjoyable.
Diya and Karina deserve a very special mention because they genuinely made my holiday so much more memorable. 🥹❤️ I became really close with them, and they were always there to have a laugh, talk to me and make me smile. They made me feel so welcome and like I was part of the animation team, rather than just another guest. I’ll honestly never forget all the fun, dancing, laughing and memories we made together. Saying goodbye was so difficult because they became such a big part of my holiday.
Diya and Karina are two of the kindest people I’ve met, and I really hope I get to see them again. They have such amazing personalities and are a huge credit to the hotel.
The bartenders were also lovely and always friendly and welcoming. They helped create such a nice atmosphere around the hotel and were always happy to have a laugh and chat.
Overall, this was such a special holiday for me, and I genuinely didn’t want to leave. ❤️ I’ve come home with so many amazing memories and people I’ll never forget.
I cannot wait to come back, Until next time! 🇹🇷☀️❤️
