⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100/100 – WE’VE FOUND A PROBLEM… WE MIGHT HAVE TO COME BACK

Saturday afternoon, sitting here waiting for our final meal before the flight home, so this is about as fresh and honest as a review can get. We’ve still got sun cream in places we didn’t know sun cream could get to, so you’re getting the truth. 😂

We’re a family of 8 and, like most sensible British people, we spent far too long reading reviews before booking.

You know the drill:

“Food not great.” “Sunbeds all gone by 6am.” “Pool too cold.” “Entertainment rubbish.” “Never coming back.”

We read the lot.

And somehow we still booked it.

Best decision we made.

We were told:

“Go on holiday with the family.” “It’ll be fun.” “Go with the wife’s cousin.”

Well, they were right about two of those things. 😂

From the moment we arrived, this place has been absolutely brilliant.

✈️ Short airport transfer 🍔 Food available 07:00–23:00 🍹 Four bars, one open 24 HOURS 🎯 Activities from 10am throughout the day 👨‍🍳 Staff who genuinely cannot do enough for you

And the staff are the real stars.

Every member of staff seems to have taken a personal oath to make sure you are fed, watered and having a good time.

We arrived in the early hours and were expecting the usual holiday experience of standing around looking like extras from The Walking Dead while someone finds your room key.

Not here.

They take your luggage, get you sorted and then point you towards a late-night buffet.

At that point we knew we’d made the right decision.

Nothing says “welcome to Turkey” quite like eating at 2am while wondering whether you’ve technically had breakfast or dinner.

We made a conscious effort to join in with activities, make friends and generally get involved. But if you say no, they leave you alone too, which is equally important when you’re 48 and your knees have started making decisions for you.

🍹 THE BAR TEAM

Special mention for “S” at the Aqua Bar, otherwise known as the tallest barman in Turkey.

Great bloke, brilliant service and probably visible from space.

And then there’s Mami.

Mami appears at your sunbed with drinks.

You look up.

Mami is there.

You look away.

Mami is still there.

You wonder if you imagined him.

Then at approximately 16:00, he arrives with chicken and chips.

At this point you stop asking questions.

You simply accept that Mami knows what you need better than you do.

Frankly, if Mami had turned up on our transfer home with eight passports and a new flight booking, we probably would have gone along with it.

🍔 THE FOOD

Food is available from 07:00 until 23:00, with snacks throughout the day.

Hot dogs.

Burgers.

Nachos.

Waffles.

Ice cream.

And various other things that make you realise your suitcase is going home approximately 4kg heavier than when it arrived.

Both our girls developed a particularly strong relationship with the 15:00 jacket potatoes.

I’m not entirely sure they came on holiday for Turkey.

I think they came for potatoes.

🏖️ THE VERDICT

We normally have a strict family rule:

Never go back to the same hotel twice.

There are too many places to see.

Too many countries to visit.

Too many hotels to investigate.

Well…

That rule has just been thrown out the window.

Because we are genuinely sitting here thinking:

“We might actually come back here.”

And that is not something we say lightly.

The facilities are excellent, the food is plentiful, the staff are fantastic, there’s loads going on, but you can also completely switch off if you want to.

Most importantly, our family of 8 had an absolutely brilliant time.

And somehow, despite travelling with the wife’s cousin, everyone is still speaking to each other.

That alone deserves five stars.

So, from one very happy British family sitting here reluctantly waiting for our final meal before the airport:

100/100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would we recommend it?

Absolutely.

Would we come back?

Against everything we normally believe in… yes.

Would we like to stay another week?

Don’t ask stupid questions.

Would we like to take Mami and “S” home with us?

We haven’t ruled it out.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off for our FINAL MEAL.

Which will obviously be followed by one last drink.

Then another one.

Because apparently “all-inclusive” is legally binding. 😂🍺

We had a wonderful stay at Saturn Palace Resort, and all the staff deserve great praise for their kindness and hospitality. However, one specific waiter truly stood out and made our holiday unforgettable. ​He works tirelessly throughout the entire day — serving drinks on the beach during the day and working in the main restaurant in the evening. He is medium build, with brown hair, always smiling, and literally everywhere at once! Everyone knows him by his iconic slogan on the beach: "Cola, Fanta, soda, bira bira biraaaaa!" ​His amazing energy, work ethic, and professional attitude are top-tier. Honestly, he is one of the main reasons we are already planning to return in a few months. Hotel management should be extremely proud to have him on the team. He absolutely deserves recognition and a promotion for his dedication!
