Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Room Basic, bathroom terrible, broken shower, cracks in tiles - needs a revamp. Cleanliness - rooms not cleaned as a matter of course, had to request cleaning/ new linen and towels, the room only cleaned once in ten days. Area - really liked a Alanya and the surrounding shops and restaurants - Repeat Bar was fab even printed boarding passes for us as the hotel claimed they had no printer!! The people here are lovely, so kind and friendly and the food outside the hotel was great. Hotel restaurant Small and difficult to find a seat, poor air con, food very samey and limited, English are not well catered for. 4 out of our group of 6 became very unwell with bad stomach which we are only just getting over now back in the uk. Pool area Fine, nice pool, not well supervised by life guard, children climbing up the slides when they are not on which was a lot of the time! Pool bar - all staff except one were rude and unfriendly Outside toilets Grim, poo smear in the same area on the wall in ladies toilets noted the entire duration of the stay!! Never saw anyone cleaning around the pool area Entertainment- Mario was nice and helped get people involved Spa - the guy who sells from the spa was lovely, sold treatments but not pushy and incredibly helpful so much so that he bought my grandson apples as we couldn’t find any. Extras: pool towels often out of stock and had to use for 3 days plus. Beach - sewage pipe going into the sea, old pier rusty and unsightly, decking worn and in need of repair.
This hotel needs a revamp as has the potential to be nice but unfinished bits and bobs and uncared for areas leave you feeling disappointed.
Only lasted 2 days then requested change of hotel. On the beach helped us move eventually! Would say 2 star at best, this is never 4* ….so be warned!
An absolute nightmare from the beginning. Room was filthy. Manager agreed to change our room. Next room Slightly better..but still unbearable. On 4th floor so we had to use the stairs as the lifts only hold 2 or 3 people, so there was always long ques, guests continued to pile into the lifts so they kept breaking down (twice in one day lift was stuck between floors & someone was called out to fix them - we had read reviews about people getting trapped in them for up to 40 mins so we were taking no chances! Would rather walk up and down 4 flights than be trapped in a lift with no air con in 35• heat) hope you have strong calves as you will be taking the stairs more than you expect!
There are fridges dotted around with small cups of water, and any drinks from the bar is served in plastic water dispenser cups..Not very appealing. Dining room always packed, no tables, food was terrible. Flies everywhere. we visit Türkiye a couple of times every so are well used to Turkish cuisine. Not sure what this was. we were worried about getting sick.
Poolside always packed, could not get a sunbed, guests putting towels down all day, but not using them so loads of the beds lay empty the whole day while guests wander around with their towels trying to find a sunbed. No pool towels available, we were told to ‘come back at 1pm.’ We didnt bother. Music is full blast all day. every day. Guy screams down the microphone every half an hour…so please DO NOT expect a relaxing lay at the pool…this is anything but relaxing. Maybe take ear plugs or your head will be bursting.
Lobby is absolutely stifling hot, no air con. & a complete hazard as people allowed to walk in and out dripping wet, so floor always wet and very slippery…So beware. Chairs/couches In lobby are filthy too, you wouldn’t want to sit in there anyway.
We have paid a substantial amount of money to move to a much better hotel, after trying for 2 days. worth every penny! so if you insist on going here…take extra money as I guarantee you will want to leave as soon as you get there. Nothing really good to say about the place. I don’t mind a basic room but I expect, at the least, a clean room. Girl at reception was lovely. Think she was as disgusted as we were when we showed her the photos of the room 🫣
We arrived in mid-August for a week as a family of five. Check-in was smooth, although we arrived in the early hours and assumed there would be some light food available, especially as this is stated on the hotel’s website.
Unfortunately, we were told there was no food available. The onsite shop is also extremely expensive — £3 for a small Halloween pack of Haribo and £6 for a small, non-branded pot noodle.
We were given a room on the top floor, which had great views overlooking the pool and mountains. However, breakfast was a different story. The restaurant was extremely busy, with lots of pushing and queue-jumping, and we struggled to find anything we wanted to eat apart from boiled eggs. We’re not fussy eaters at all, but we do expect to find something reasonably edible at breakfast.
The pool area itself was clean, but finding a sun lounger was almost impossible. Towels were being put on loungers as early as 5am and then left there for most, if not all, of the day. The entertainment was very basic and mainly in Russian. Drinks were also served in plastic cups, including in the lobby area, which didn’t feel particularly nice.
That said, we tried to make the best of our holiday and still had a great time as a family. We ended up eating out almost every night. Sila Restaurant, which is just a short walk away, was fantastic — reasonably priced, friendly staff and great food.
The beach situation was disappointing. There is apparently a golf buggy that takes guests to the beach, but when we asked about it, we were told it was always charging, so we never actually managed to use it. We did the Green Canyon excursion, which I would highly recommend — it was definitely one of the highlights of the holiday.
The location is good, with plenty of shops literally right outside the hotel, so it’s a great place if you enjoy shopping and haggling. Unfortunately, though, the hotel itself was a let-down.
We chose this hotel mainly because of its location, but in hindsight, I would definitely pay more for a better-quality hotel. This holiday has taught us a valuable lesson: sometimes it’s worth spending that bit extra for a better experience.
Never again, totally agree with all the negative comments, 8 of went on this holiday and all 8 were sick, some while we were still there, its taken over two weeks to start feeling better, we have had numerous Dr's appointments and been told most likely the salads have caused our upset stomachs as they are washed with tap water. The food was not the best and the deserts were awful.
On arrival we were told they overbooked and our room was not available until the next day. We were given an room that looked more like a storage unit, wall sockets hanging off the wall, paint peeled off the door, l.only wish we had taken photos. The side cabinet had a phone on it and underneath it was all black melted rubber.
My son who is 14 and my nephew were given a room on the 1st floor, they went to open the door and found a couple already in the room on the bed. My son was extremely embarrassed and l was fuming to what he could have been exposed to.
We were moved the next day and were told to bring our own suitcases down 2 floors there were 8. I was not impressed, staff then denied saying they asked us this and said they would have bought them down themselves.
The holiday representative was very rude and constantly hounding us to book excursions that we extremely overpriced compared to get my guide site..so we booked our own. He was not interested in any of our issues only our money.
I asked many times if the hotel accommodates for disabilities and requested a ground floor room. I had no response, got there and found they have no ground floor, had l know this l would have cancelled. I was placed on the 1st floor. No lifts available to the 1st floor, l struggled immensely with the stairs.
Honestly l could go on and on..none of it is positive. Please do not book here change if you can.
That was a nice holiday, we recomend it to others. Everything, especially stuff was very nice, hotel are clean and big. A big advantage is that this hotel is near the sea, and food is so delicious. We will come back.
