Several sports facilities, a large pool area and a spa are available for hotel guests, various restaurants offer a great choice of food. Chilled Out Stay.
The Sunis is a very large resort set in lovely mature grounds which are well kept , We stayed in one of the villas by the quiet pool , As described in other reviews the rooms are a little dated but we don't spend time in the room, Bed was comfy quite a firm mattress which we like. There a very large restaurant which can get busy at times but we had no trouble in getting a table There's an amazing array of food for every taste , We had 2 meals at the Fish & Italian Restaurants which made a nice change if only a bit rushed . All the pools are very clean & had no problem with getting a sun bed , but still a lot of reserving with towels , There's a lot of daytime activities & some good shows & entertainment during our stay inc disco on the beach & Oktoberfest, For a Treat try a message or two in the spa very relaxing , The whole hotel areas are kept very clean & tidy , Maybe a little more attention from housekeeping regarding dust in rooms , We had a fabulous time here & was good value for money , So a big thankyou to all the hardworking Staff & management , In particular Mustafa , & Bilal in the bar & The lady who was always smiling in the restaurant ,

This is my honest review and hopefully we help someone and not make the mistake we did . Hotel rating 7/10 clean hotel and staff very nice even thou some struggled with English . The pool is very good but cold which was surprising as it was so warm over there . Bed sheets were not changed everyday but drinks were always waiting in the fridge which is handy when it is so hot out there . Food 5/10 Started off with a wow but it did look like some of the food had been used again for the following day and then it became not exciting and looked better than it tasted . Plenty of cold water all over the hotel and drinks were always on hand by the staff . Entertainment 5/10 Mixed feelings on this as some shows were generally good but yes a massive but ! This hotel tends to play more music for our friends the Germans than anyone else . Live music was good but constantly singing in German which is hard to understand , DJ playing all sorts of music but played large portion of songs sang in German which was hard to dance to and understand. Live shows, the entertainer involved everyone and called out their counties for cheers but not once did he say the UK , i think you get the picture. No pubs outside this hotel either so you become trapped. Beach 4/10 Stone beach no sand and if you venture into the sea you can only swim a few meters out and no further as a rope is there to stop you . When entering the sea it suddenly drops off to about 5ft and when trying to get out your feet sink in the stones below and it is difficult and the waves are very strong. Plenty of food stalls dotted around and drinks and plenty of sunbeds . The sun beds are hard to get if you are not out there early enough to put a towel down so it is advised to grab them between 6 and 7am. We had 10 days here and had a ok time but would not come back again , only 10% at this hotel were British which is what your after then it's for you . All I can say is those that visit this hotel do not have the same manours as ourselves If you are traveling to Turkey go to the other side where you will be welcomed , Oludeniz i hear is the place to go .
Lovely
The Sunis Elita gave us a very comfortable and relaxing 10 days holiday. Our room was spacious and very clean, serviced everyday to a high standard. The All-inclusive facilities were excellent, great quality and plentiful food and drink around the pool and beach. Mostly the staff were friendly and attentive, particular staff members stood out. The 'Beach Boy' was relentless, cleaning and servicing the beach non stop everyday. The lovely lady that made the Jacket Potatoes went above and beyond to provide delicious potatoes at lunchtime! And the evening staff at the lounge bar were excellent (for a small tip) they looked after us endlessly and made our holiday. We enjoyed some treatments in the Spa and they were absolutely brilliant! The indoor pool was warm and clean. The beach towel supply was also excellent. The hotel was a little noisy trying to sleep, noise provided by the hotel next door. And the entertainment team could be improved. There was also a couple of niggly bits, for example no sweet deserts provided in the beach restaurant at lunchtime. The pool area had very loud music during the afternoon, so loud you couldn't even chat! The patisserie was nice, if a little hidden!
Overall though the Sunis Elita was lovely, despite the niggly bits mentioned we would return. The beach was gorgeous, peaceful, clean and the added bonus of a dolphin swimming in the sea made it idyllic!
One word of warning, be aware of the slippery floors, I did slip over and it caused an injury. I did not report it to the hotel.

Dull, and over rated
The location wasn’t great as apart from a regular bazaar opposite the hotel there was nothing close by. I felt there was very little atmosphere in this hotel and the majority of the staff were moody and made no attempt to engage with the clients. In the evenings people just sat around playing card/board games. The wasn’t even any music at the pool bar in the evening. Dull, boring and uninteresting. Would have gone to watch TV in the room but no English channels. As for the rooms, they were okay but the mattress was very hard and the worst pillows l have ever known in a hotel. Like sleeping on a sack of small foam pieces. I enjoyed the food and there was. Always something l could find to eat. Went to the Mexican restaurant but found this drab. No references to the culture other that the food. Mexican music or ponchos might have halped. As we had a late flight we asked for a room to shower and change in but this simple request was denied. Had to use shower in the spa. We did use the spa during our stay wor Hammam, facial and massage and the staff were very pushy wanting us to return again and again during the holiday. Quiet expensive for what we received Overall the hotel was adequate but l wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or return. 1 last thing, Deniz on reception was the most UNHELPFUL AND RUDE person we encountered during our stay.

Watery week !
First things first the week we came the weather was awful so put a bit of a dampener on the holiday however here is still our review :)
Hotel - 4/5 - the grounds of the hotel was lovely really well kept I would say that the rooms are small and I wouldn’t class them as 5* really very dated but at the end of the day the room is there to sleep in and get ready
Location 3/5 - the hotel is quite fair away from most things however there is a decent shopping centre at the bottom of the road from the hotel called Lyra 5 euros in the taxi from the hotel gates ! When we booked trips like the quad safari it was a good 1.5 hour transfer to get to the location ect
Food 4/5 - really good choice of food for breakfast lunch and dinner I would say it would be nice if the main restaurant stayed open longer as we was out one day we got back at 9:10pm and the restaurant was closed when they opened for late dinner it only offered rice and 2 dishes to go with it and some soup so that would of been nice to be open longer - also I believe that the al carte was a bit confusing thinking there was 3 of them in fact it was only 1 restaurant which had different theme nights
Staff 10/5- the staff are absolutely brilliant so friendly and helpful ! What we also noticed was hot tentative they were to guests with additional needs this was so heart warming - there is even lifts into the pools for people with mobility problems !
Pool 3/5 - the pool unfortunately was a bit of a hazard which made our trip end up down the hospital - the outside tiles/slabs are so slippery they took out a lot of people daily one of our group slipped and ended up ripping their toe nail off going to hospital and then couldn’t go in the pool for 5 days which did put a dampener on the trip. The staff were very apologetic and helpful afterwards however seeing another lady around the pool who was black and blue from falling too is something I think they could maybe look at
Entertainment 3/5 I feel like because we went in the worst weather week a lot of the entertainment got cancelled or crammed into the lobby - what we did watch was brilliant but we just didn’t get the full thing with the week being so rainy !
Cats 5/5- being an animal lover seeing how loved all the cats and kittens are is adorable lots of new babies around so make sure you give them a stroke sneak them a bit of meat and put some water down for them they are super friendly and was some of the highlights of my rainy days !
Would I return ? If the hotel was in a busier location maybe the hotel was very heavy on German and Dutch which is fine however being lazy English we don’t know other languages very well so was hard to communicate with other holiday goers which is something we like to do !
