The town of Manavgat and the famous waterfalls are just a short drive away, Side with its historic sites can be easily reached.
Good hotel with good food and good animation especially, Zarina and Sabina are very friendly
We stayed at Sunis Elita Beach for a week at the end of August as a family of two adults and one child on an all-inclusive basis. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.
The hotel itself was really clean and well maintained. Our room was cleaned every day, bedding was changed during the week and fresh towels were provided regularly.
The minibar was also restocked daily with water and soft drinks, which was a nice touch.
The food was one of the highlights. There was a huge amount of choice, the quality was excellent and there were several different restaurants to choose from. Snacks and ice creams were readily available throughout the day, and the bars offered a really good selection of drinks.
The pools were fantastic, particularly for families. The main pool was a consistent depth, the water was warm and clean, and the surrounding areas were thoroughly cleaned every day. The slides were great fun as well.
There was plenty going on throughout the day and evening, including rifle shooting, darts competitions, archery, shows and other entertainment. There was always something to do without feeling like you had to take part.
The vast majority of the staff were absolutely brilliant. Friendly, hardworking and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the only exception was two male members of staff working on reception during the afternoons. We found them quite abrupt and, at times, rude and uninterested. We also witnessed similar interactions with other guests. This was disappointing and was the main reason we marked the service down slightly, particularly because the rest of the team were so good.
One other issue is the sunbeds. You need to be quick if you want a good location, as we found that some guests were reserving them the night before. If you leave it too late, getting a sunbed in a decent spot can be difficult.
The hotel is directly on the beach and also has several shops on site. Some of the clothing shops were really good, although we found the main hotel shop quite expensive.
Overall, though, these were relatively minor negatives in what was a really enjoyable week. Great food, fantastic pools, plenty for children and adults to do, excellent cleanliness and, with very few exceptions, brilliant staff.
We would happily recommend Sunis Elita Beach and would certainly consider staying again.
We came back from this hotel two days ago, and I have to say that I’ve been to Turkey many times and stayed in many different hotels, but this was by far the worst one in every aspect.
There were very few activities, and the food was practically the same every day with very little choice. The room cleaning was terrible. Our towels were only changed after I complained at reception that nobody had changed them for two days. After that, I still had to call reception almost every day because either the room hadn’t been cleaned properly or the towels hadn’t been replaced.
The minibar in the room only had water and one bottle of Fanta. There was very little entertainment in the evenings. The main bar closed at midnight at the latest, and they already started putting the alcohol away around 11 p.m. There were some evening shows, but the amphitheatre was very small.
All the sunbeds were constantly taken. One day, I got up earlier specifically to reserve a sunbed for my child, but when I came back after breakfast, someone had thrown our towel somewhere and put their own towel on the sunbed instead.
It was also very difficult to communicate with the staff at reception. One man who introduced himself as the manager — although after checking, it turned out that he wasn’t — was extremely rude and unhelpful.
The entertainment team should be there to entertain the guests and do their best to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Instead, it felt as though they just wanted to finish their day and leave as quickly as possible.
I genuinely cannot recommend this hotel at all. I honestly don’t understand how it has a 5-star rating.
A very nice hotel — we really enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and there was a great variety of dishes. The entertainment and shows were also very good. We would especially like to mention the animators Zarina, Sabina and Linda. They were very friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. They really made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
It was good but the music was abit quiet however the room was brilliant and was cleaned every day. The beach was good but was abit dirty. Food was very good and a variety of food to choose from
