If you are coming here for the beach and the sea, do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel. The shoreline is covered with debris, shredded plastic, and other waste, making it one of the dirtiest beaches we have visited. To make matters worse, there is a persistent sewage-like smell along the beach, which completely ruins the experience. This is not what anyone should expect from a seaside resort.

We reported the situation to the hotel management and asked what actions they were taking to address the pollution and protect the quality of the beach. Their response was simply to acknowledge our complaint. No action was taken, no follow-up was provided, and there was no indication that they considered the issue a priority. It felt as though they were hoping guests would simply accept the situation, move on, and eventually forget about it.

For a hotel that promotes itself as a beach destination, this level of neglect is unacceptable. If the beach is one of the main reasons you are booking this property, you are likely to be extremely disappointed.

A decent hotel, but the restaurant ruins the overall experience Mirage Park Resort, Göynük (Kemer) We stayed in July 2026 as a family with a child, in a sea view room in the main building. Overall, the hotel leaves a decent impression. It is a solid standard 5-star property, but the advertised “premium all inclusive” concept feels more like a marketing label than a real difference in experience. Check-in was poorly organized. Despite requesting early check-in in advance due to a night flight with a child, we only received the room around 4:00 PM and were repeatedly told “15 more minutes.” When we finally got access, the room was still being cleaned. This seems more like an issue of internal coordination and communication. After this experience, we expected the hotel might try to compensate in some way. However, guest relations only offered apologies. We also asked for a late check-out (just a couple of extra hours), but this was declined due to full occupancy. While understandable from an operational perspective, this could have been handled more flexibly from a guest experience point of view. The room itself was very good: modern, clean, and with a beautiful sea view. Housekeeping was consistent. The main issue of the hotel is the restaurant. It feels like it was originally designed for one building, but after the second building opened, the number of guests effectively doubled while the infrastructure remained the same. As a result, the restaurant struggles to handle the current volume. This shows in many ways: very dense seating, lack of personal space, constant noise and movement. The layout of the food stations is not always intuitive, which creates additional crowding and cross-traffic. Overall, it feels more like a busy dining hall during peak hours than a relaxed dinner environment. Food quality is in line with a typical Turkish 5-star hotel, but nothing particularly stands out. This is clearly the area that requires the most attention from management. There are also a few operational details that could be improved:

•There are no designated bins for used beach towels. As a result, guests leave towels on sunbeds when they leave, creating a false impression that all loungers are occupied. •The lobby bar closes at midnight. In higher-level hotels, this is usually a 24-hour service.

Sometimes you just want to relax in a quiet, air-conditioned space in the evening, rather than go to a noisy and warm beach or disco area. The hotel grounds are well maintained, green, and pleasant. Pools and the aquapark are in good condition and suitable for families. The beach is comfortable in the morning, but during the day sunbeds are constantly moved around, creating a somewhat chaotic setup. The sea is clean in the morning, though sometimes less so in the afternoon. Service is generally friendly and staff are trying, but it feels more procedural than attentive. In less busy areas the service is noticeably better, while in high-traffic spots it becomes more transactional. The hotel is clearly family-oriented. The kids club is a strong point and was genuinely enjoyed. Overall rating: around 6 out of 10. A good option at a reasonable price, but not a true premium experience. With improvements in restaurant management and operational details, the hotel could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
