Great hotel, excellent service.
Everything is excellent, beautiful hotel and stuff.
Wonderful hotel, top 10 stars! Thank for all! I'll come back!
Had a great spa session! Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. Amre helped me choose the right treatment!!
We’ve just returned from a week here in October. Overall, we’ve had a lovely family holiday, but there were a few things that stopped it from being a 5-star experience for us.
⭐ The positives
🏊 The heated outdoor pool
Honestly, one of the best heated outdoor pools we’ve experienced at any hotel! Perfect for October and warm enough for the children to actually enjoy swimming. A massive plus for an autumn holiday.
🏨 The hotel itself
The hotel is beautiful, clean, calm and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, and the whole resort has a lovely, relaxed feel.
🍹 Drinks and bars
The drinks were decent and, importantly, served in glasses wherever you went. There are loads of bars around the resort, so getting a drink was always easy.
🎭 Evening entertainment
Absolutely INSANE — in the best possible way! The evening shows were incredible productions and easily some of the best hotel entertainment we’ve seen.
☀️ Sunbeds
No sunbed wars here! Even at 10am, there were plenty of beds available. This may be different during peak season, but it was lovely not having to get up at the crack of dawn to secure one.
🏊 Activities and pool table
There were loads of activities going on throughout the day. The water polo was brilliant to watch, with some very talented Russian players! We did witness a couple of injuries, but the staff handled everything really well.
Initially, I thought the pool table booking system was a bit annoying, but it actually worked brilliantly. You could book 25-minute slots, with the option of booking two back-to-back, meaning more people got a chance to play.
🥤 Minibar
A lovely little extra! Restocked daily with cans of Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Fanta, water, juice and crisps.
👎 The negatives
🍽️ Food and restaurant choices
Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of our stay.
We booked through Jet2, which advertised six restaurants. However, this didn’t reflect our experience. There are three à la carte restaurants, two of which incur additional charges, plus a beautiful patisserie.
The patisserie itself was lovely, but the cakes were largely the same as those available in the buffet.
Initially, we were impressed by the choice in the main restaurant. However, we soon realised it was pretty much the same food every single day. It became incredibly repetitive, and towards the end of the week, the amount of food available seemed to decrease considerably. This may have been because the season was coming to an end, but it was disappointing.
🍔 Beach bar
Again, the food was much the same every day, with a very limited selection. It also wasn’t particularly warm, which was a shame.
🧺 Towels
A minor issue, but worth mentioning. Both the beach towels and the bath towels in our room were thin, small, worn and tired-looking. They could definitely do with replacing.
❄️ Air conditioning
Our air conditioning wasn’t working properly, and the room temperature kept creeping up. By checkout, it was showing 24.6°C, which wasn’t particularly comfortable.
🍹 Poolside drinks service
A small thing, but drinks service around the pool would have been a lovely addition. We would happily have tipped for the convenience, as we often do on holiday, but it wasn’t an option.
📍 Location — a little tip!
There isn’t a huge amount immediately surrounding the hotel, but this isn’t necessarily a criticism of the resort itself.
We took an Uber into Kemer to visit the market and explore the town, and we absolutely loved it. Kemer is beautiful and incredibly scenic, and we found the shopping experience really relaxed, without people constantly hassling us to go into their shops.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re staying here!
⭐ Overall verdict
We’ve had a lovely family holiday, and the heated pool, beautiful hotel, incredible evening entertainment and range of activities were definite highlights.
However, the repetitive food was the biggest letdown and stopped the experience from being as good as it could have been.
With more variety and consistency in the food, alongside a few small improvements, this hotel could be fantastic.
Would we leave with lovely memories? Absolutely. Was everything perfect? No. The hotel has so much going for it, but the food really needs to catch up with the rest of the experience!
