What a place!
Where do I even begin to describe how incredible this hotel was? Let me start with the wonderful team, the "LOL family", because they truly made our holiday what it was. Every single member of staff put guests first, always paying attention to the little details and taking the time to have genuine conversations; it’s those personal touches that made all the difference and turned a great stay into an unforgettable one.
I want to give a special shout-out to our dear friend Islam at the Eternia restaurant. He was the most generous, warm-hearted host you could ever hope to meet, never too busy for guests, always ready with a smile, and he’d happily guide us toward the very best dishes on the menu every single time 🙂 Over our 10-day stay, he wasn’t just a member of staff, he became a true friend. Nothing was ever too much trouble, big or small, every request was handled with care and willingness. He was, without doubt, the absolute highlight of our holiday.
And then the food, just wow! There was an incredible variety of options every evening. While naturally some evenings shared familiar favourites, the hotel’s approach of serving specialist dishes directly removed the chaos and long queues that so often come with all-inclusive dining. It was smooth, well-organised, and delicious, really well done to the whole culinary team for getting that balance so right.
The water park and theme park were absolutely incredible too, we spent the vast majority of our time enjoying the water park and absolutely loved every minute of it! If I could suggest just one addition, it would be a large ball game pool similar to the one we experienced at Rixos Belek during our travels, that would be the perfect extra touch.
As for our room, we stayed in the Horrible Histories themed room, which had a fun, bold, characterful design! That said, it did feel a little tired and in need of some updating. My one practical suggestion would be to provide a proper single bed rather than the chaise lounge or camp beds we had, it would make a big difference to comfort during a longer stay.
Overall, a truly wonderful holiday, the team, the food, and the facilities made it unforgettable, and we’re already looking forward to coming back
The best ever
This is by our most favourite hotel. If we were to compare with something equivalent, we would compare with Atlantis the Palm in Dubai. But we feel like land of legends all inclusive and additional facilities makes a better alternative and value for money. On our most recent stay, we were greatly assisted by Omar Burak who managed to arrange various things for us in advance. Omar was very polite and caring and made sure we had a really nice view from the room also.
He made sure the experience was nothing less than perfect. From the room we wanted, an extra special warm check in experience to dining facilities and soo much more. We were exceptionally grateful for his assistance with our recent visit and can see him doing really in customer services. We truly enjoyed ourselves and all the arrangements that were made. We can’t wait to visit again, whenever possible. Thank you again to all staff that made our experience that much better than the last time.
Family holiday
I stayed at the Land of Legends kingdom hotel and I was very impressed from the state of the art facilities to fine dining. It was remarkable for the family. However, one member who was a lifeguard named Canpolat impressed me the most. Canpolat the lifeguard at the activity pool was very attentive and helpful to other people at the pool as his way of being lifeguard was above and beyond. He is a prime example and role model to how all lifeguards should be.
Experience
The Land of Legends – Antalya Review
Overall, we had a lovely experience at The Land of Legends. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the food is very varied with plenty of choices, and the cleanliness inside the hotel was impeccable. Our room and the hotel facilities were always kept spotless.
Unfortunately, our first impression at check-in wasn’t the best. The lady who checked us in came across as a little arrogant and wasn’t particularly polite or welcoming. However, most of the other staff members were extremely friendly, helpful and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything.
The theme park and water park are beautiful, with a huge variety of attractions for children of all ages. There are plenty of slides, rides, carousels, games, shows and activities, so children definitely won’t get bored. SpongeBob and PAW Patrol were a particular highlight for us, and the children’s entertainment was really enjoyable.
One negative point about the theme park/water park is the toilets. Unfortunately, we found them to be very dirty, which was disappointing considering the standard of the rest of the resort. I would definitely recommend wearing flip-flops or pool shoes at all times, especially when using the toilets and walking around the water park.
Another thing to be aware of is that even with the purple All Inclusive Plus/Ultra wristband, food and drinks inside the park are only included at certain restaurants, terraces and kiosks. I think this could be explained and signposted much more clearly for guests.
The free dolphin show was very nice and definitely worth watching. However, the additional dolphin experiences are incredibly expensive. We were quoted around £1,000 for our family for approximately 20 minutes to swim with and feed the dolphins. In my opinion, that is an excessive amount of money for such a short experience.
What surprised us even more was that the professional photos and videos are NOT included in that price. After paying around £1,000 for the experience, you still have to pay separately if you want to keep the photos or videos. For that amount of money, I really feel that at least a photo and video package should be included.
There was also something during the dolphin show that I didn’t particularly like. Some of the people dancing and participating were actually performers/actors from the park. When other children wanted to join in and dance with them, the security staff wouldn’t allow them. Considering this is a place created around children and magical experiences, I found that quite disappointing.
There are additional charges at the hotel too. For example, during breakfast children can have their photo taken with Masha, which is a lovely experience for them. However, if you actually want to keep the photos afterwards, you have to pay extra for them. It sometimes feels as though almost every special little memory comes with an additional charge.
The boat ride is also lovely, but again, I found it quite expensive considering the actual ride lasts only around 8 minutes.
The souvenir shops are another area where prices are extremely high. Even simple things such as magnets or small souvenirs are surprisingly expensive. There was also a PAW Patrol/SpongeBob-themed bubble-making activity where you could easily end up paying close to £50, which I found excessive for what it was.
Overall, The Land of Legends is a beautiful place for families and we genuinely had a lovely time. There is an incredible amount for children to see and do, the hotel is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the majority of the staff are friendly and helpful.
However, I would recommend going prepared for a lot of additional costs. Even after paying for an All Inclusive holiday, many of the special experiences, activities, photos, videos and souvenirs can be extremely expensive.
I’m very glad we experienced The Land of Legends as a family and it created some lovely memories for us. It’s definitely somewhere worth seeing at least once, especially with children.
For us, though, it’s probably a “visit once and experience it” destination rather than somewhere we would return to regularly.
