Fantastic Family Holiday

We have just returned from a fantastic 10-day 9-night family holiday at the Arcadia Sport Resort, overall, had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The Transfer from the airport to the hotel was stated as 1hr, however, we were collected in a mini-bus with only 1-stop before our hotel and it took c.40mins.

From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was excellent. It was quick, efficient and hassle-free, and the concierge kindly took our luggage straight to our room, allowing us to start enjoying the hotel immediately. They explained how the aircon worked, how to use the bedroom safe, where the minibar was and told us about the hotel pools etc, a lovely touch.

We stayed in Room 1001, a family room, which was perfect for us. It consisted of two separate bedrooms (a double and a twin), a bathroom and a balcony. The location was ideal – close enough to the restaurants, swimming pools and other facilities to be really convenient, but far enough away that we weren’t disturbed by any noise in the evenings.

A nice touch was the complimentary minibar, which was replenished every day with Coca-Cola, Fanta, water, Efes beer, fruit juice and snacks. The hotel housekeeping team were super, on the days they cleaned our room it was done so with real attention to detail, and the days we had our ‘Do not Disturb’ sign out, they called us in the evening to see if we required any replenishments (Towels, body wash, toilet rolls etc).

The pool areas were excellent and very well maintained. Lifeguards worked between 8am-6pm and were very approachable, almost 2 per pool. There are three different pools, each with their own atmosphere. One has the water slides, another (next to the slides) has music and a livelier atmosphere, while the third is much quieter and perfect if you’re looking to relax. We never struggled to find sunbeds, provided we arrived before 10am (we were just before British school summer holidays, and it was getting busier towards the end of our stay). The poolside bars were fantastic, serving a great selection of drinks, and there were fridges stocked with complimentary bottled water dotted around the hotel grounds, which was much appreciated in the heat.

The private beach (again covered by lifeguards - and hotel security at night) was another highlight. It was clean, well maintained and had a lovely beach bar, with a snack bar next door serving hot dogs, burgers, chicken nuggets, chips and toasties throughout the day. Plenty of water sports on offer jet skis, boat rides, paragliding etc)

The beachside cocktail bar was great for late night drinks and a boogie on the dance floor.

The food was good, although probably the weakest part of the hotel. There was a decent variety, but many dishes were repeated throughout the week. That said, there was always plenty available and we never struggled to find something we all enjoyed. My wife has a dairy allergy, and the hotel handled this really well by providing her with a special wristband so restaurant staff / chefs were immediately aware and could assist her. The main restaurant was always busy, but the staff worked incredibly hard to clear and reset tables quickly. We also visited the midnight snack restaurant a few times, which offered a smaller selection but was perfect for grabbing something before bed. Big shout out to the two ladies who made savoury crepes everyday - great food, well prepared and enjoyed by everybody.

We would definitely recommend (I think it was called ‘Manga’ Restaurant) it’s where guests cook their own BBQ, my teenagers loved this as it was different to what we had been used to during the holiday. All food and utensils were provided, very relaxed atmosphere but not to everyone’s liking - we had fun!

Without doubt, the standout feature of this hotel is the entertainment team. They work tirelessly from morning til night and are a real credit to the hotel. There are activities for everyone, including boules, water polo, water aerobics, dance lessons, darts, bingo, tennis and football, as well as plenty for children and families to enjoy. The evening entertainment was equally impressive, with great shows, themed parties and live entertainment every night. The best part is that the team encourages you to join in without ever being pushy, creating a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The only disappointment came after check-out. The complimentary shower and changing facilities are well below the standard of the rest of the hotel. We needed to use these as we had a late flight and room check-out was 12-noon (we were unable to extend our room due to the hotel being fully booked). There is only one shower in each of the male and female changing rooms, the rooms themselves are VERY small and the whole area seemed to be lacking in aircon?! it was SO HOT, and no towels or toiletries such as shampoo or body wash were provided (which is a pain when you have packed yours in suitcases to go home!). After such a high standard throughout the holiday, this felt like an area that could easily be improved.

Overall, we had a wonderfully chilled and relaxing holiday. The hotel is clean, well maintained, the staff are hardworking and friendly, and the facilities are excellent. While there are a few areas that could be improved, they certainly wouldn’t stop us from returning. We would happily recommend this hotel to families and couples looking for a fun, relaxing all-inclusive holiday.

Amazing holiday

We recently stayed at Limak Arcadia Sport Resort Hotel with our family, and we had a wonderful experience.

The hotel offered a great variety of activities for both adults and children, which made every day enjoyable and entertaining. The live music performances in the evenings were fantastic and created a great atmosphere.

One of the highlights of our stay was participating in activities such as air rifle shooting and archery, supervised by Didi. He provided clear instructions and explained everything very well, making it easy for everyone to understand what to do and enjoy the activities safely and successfully. Also a big shout out to Jamal. He was a very fun, friendly and enthusiastic entertainment member.

The entertainment team was excellent throughout our stay. They were friendly, enthusiastic, and worked hard to ensure guests had a great time. Their energy and professionalism really contributed to the positive holiday experience.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable family vacation and would happily recommend Limak Arcadia to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly resort with plenty of activities and excellent entertainment. We would love to return in the future.

Great Family Hotel in Belek

We came to Belek in October 2025 and a hotel near to Limak Arcadia. Limak Arcadia has been a whole different level in every aspect. From the restaurants, friendliness of all the staff and attention to all the guests has been exceptional. The evening shows have been spectacular and caters for everyone from different countries. The entertainment team work non stop keeping everyone engaged and enjoying their holiday. Special mention to Talha who has always looked out for us from our first day until our last. Always making sure we were enjoying our holiday. My 2 daughters (16 & 14) said this has been one of their most favourite holidays and loves how Talha always makes time to speak to them when he sees them around the hotel.

The popcorn man

We are just back from holiday and had a fantastic time although with temps at 40 degrees it was too hot at times. However the hotel was lovely , lots of pools , could always find a lounger. Lots of food to choose from. Very good hotel for us all and very easy walk to the town. However one amazing person there was THE POPCORN MAN. My daughter was there every night for popcorn and he was very sweet and friendly and always chatty. Please make sure you go say hello. Altogether a great holiday.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel

I generally perfer to find as many positives as possible when reviewing a holiday, but unfortunately I can’t think of many with this one. This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in in a very long time. I may be a bit of a holiday snob, we always go 5 star these days, my backpacking days are over, but this was much more like a 3 star I’d have booked when I was on an 18-30 year old holiday back in the 80s. So let me highlight, this is NOT a 5 start hotel, I think someone was drunk when they gave it that grading. None of the usual 5 star perks were there. No one serving coffee at breakfast, it was a self-serve coffee machine. No one offering drinks poolside. No safe in the room unless you paid extra. The first hotel I have ever visited with sports in the name, but had no sports bar haha!
All pools were used at different times for various, games, entertainment, inflatables – no getting away from the hustle and bustle I’m afraid. We booked for 5 adults, myself, my husband, 2 sons and a girlfriend in 3 rooms. I ALWAYS check room layout when booking a holiday and often end up up-grading as I prefer to have 2 beds rather than a double, as most doubles can be quite small and sometimes sink in the middle! This is an absolute must when I make a booking. I paid for an upgrade on this holiday and also sent a request. Our rooms when we arrived, were not what I had paid extra for, which was listed as sleeping 1-4 people! Goodness knows where the 3rd and 4th person would have slept, genuinely I have no clue. They were tiny, and I mean teeny tiny. The bed was a small double, the room was filthy and smelt of damp – which ok, I kind of get if it had been quite rainy recently, so I’ll leave that one, but it really was dirty and very dated. I refused to sleep in that room, so we were offered another room that wasn’t a whole lot better, but at least had two single beds, instead of a small double. However, there was this weird glass wall through to the shower, so if you were in the bathroom with the light on, this shone into the bedroom, there was no curtain or anything to block it so I had to improvise and place some blankets over the shower rail. The ‘view’ from the balcony overlooked a large shed/outbuilding that I think was a cat shelter. Great if you like cats I suppose, which by the way there are lots of here, and I mean loads – cats everywhere. The staff were really good and were helpful with my manic meltdown about the rooms. Eventually we got moved to a family room with my son and his girlfriend (their initial room was awful too). The family room was not ideal from a privacy point of view, but more room and ‘proper’ sized beds and it was clean. My other son stayed in his room, as it was fine for him on his own.
One good point was there were plenty of sunbeds, although a lot seemed to be saved, which sadly is so common these days. I stupidly assumed booking in school term-time would mean a few less children, but there were loads there! It clearly is a very family-oriented hotel, which my kids would have loved 20 years ago, so a big bonus if you have young kids. But as mine are grown up now, we found the entertainment and things to do a bit lacking. It had the usual Michael Jackson night and a great acrobatics type act which is exactly the same as the one we saw at a different hotel in Turkey last year, still good though. We didn’t bother with any other entertainment after that.
Drinks – very, very basic. I’m not a big drinker, but I like a glass of wine or a gin and ginger ale or orange when on holiday. There was no ginger ale at all, and the orange juice was a weird concentrate, not the fresh orange juice I would expect, it wasn’t that nice and sometimes a little sour. All the cocktails tasted like they had something sour in them, they were awful. Food, ok I suppose, nothing to shout about. The buffet restaurant was like many others, a fair amount of variety, you could usually find something edible and it was hot. We went to 2 of the a la carte restaurants which you have to pay extra for, but at least I could but a decent glass of wine.
