This hotel is probably the best one ive ever visited in turkey. Staff was kind and helpful, pools were clean, room was clean, food was tasty and alot of choices. Beach was great even tho u have to go there with a shuttle bus ( 5min ride) Only downside was that elevators are confusing, because if u go to the wrong one, u have to walk a little bit to your room. The resort is big and has alot of activities. The thing i loved abt this hotel is that it has a sports bar where u can watch football games. We visited in the world cup month and as a football fan i loved the bar! Overall its a 5/5 experience and im definetly returning in the future.
Firstly this is a great hotel, clean loads to do, friendly staff, you will have a great time.
Unfortunately the one thing that lets it down it chaos that is dinner time, it’s a push and shove to get food not relaxing whatsoever.
Hotel is Full of rude Turkish families on holidays who have no manners and don’t believe in queuing, we are here now in July and granted it’s very busy to be expected however, this has really let the holiday experience down for us…
We have just returned from an amazing week at Granda Luxury Belek as a family of four (2 adults, a 4-year-old and an almost 2-year-old), and I felt I had to leave a review after reading some of the negative ones before we travelled.
Like many people, I was worried before we arrived because of some of the recent reviews, but I can honestly say they couldn’t have been further from our experience. The hotel is absolutely spotless, incredibly spacious, and has so much to do that we didn’t leave the resort once during our entire stay. Everything we needed was right there.
Every member of staff we came across was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They really helped make our holiday special.
Myself and both of my children are quite fussy eaters, so I was a little concerned about the food. While the buffet is repetitive, there was always plenty of choice and we found something we enjoyed at every meal. The main restaurant can get quite busy and chaotic at peak times, but it’s a huge hotel so that’s to be expected. We often chose to have lunch at G-Snack instead, which was much quieter and offered table service at no extra cost, which we really enjoyed.
We never had any problems finding sunbeds, even after 10am. The ones directly around the main pool were usually taken, but we preferred sitting by the beach next to the Wonderland kids’ slides anyway. In the afternoons we’d head back to the main hotel and always managed to find seats around the children’s pool.
The entertainment was fantastic throughout the week. Our daughter absolutely loved it, especially the kids’ club, and she was thrilled to have her hair done at the on-site hairdresser.
Our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard, and on arrival we were surprised with a bottle of wine and some delicious pastries to celebrate our anniversary, which was a lovely touch.
Overall, we had an incredible holiday and would return without hesitation. If you’re reading negative reviews and feeling unsure, don’t let them put you off. We had a wonderful family holiday and made some fantastic memories.
What a hotel. We loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful, our room was nice, the scale of the place is impressive and there’s just so many pools! We felt the hotel caters for all, some days we wanted to be in the thick of the entertainment round the pool/slides etc but then if you wanted to you can always find a nice quiet spot as the pools are huge and there’s many to choose from. Our kids loved the beach pool area and we took the free bus to the private beach as well which was beautiful and all food and drink there was included. We used the kids club a couple of times to get the kids out of the sun for a while and that was great and so flexible. The buffet is extremely busy if you go at peak times but even at peak times we were always able to get a table and there’s plenty to eat. The entertainment is next level from any hotel we’ve stayed at before with really impressive shows, we loved the Michael Jackson night it was brilliant although people were leaving belongings on tables at the front for hours before the performance to keep a seat. It makes me so mad when people do this, the hotel did have big signs up telling people not to do this but it was still happening. Staff could perhaps have moved people’s belongings after a period of time. We had such a great holiday. None of the staff asked us to leave a review it wasn’t mentioned to us at all. We really hope to be back next year maybe in May instead of June when it’s a bit cooler
Fantastic experience at this hotel after terrible travel. Guest relations were awesome at every request!
