Granada Luxury Belek

Returned from a 10 night stay at Granarda Luxury Hotel last week.

Honest review.

Rooms: The hotel was beautiful, rooms were lovely and clean, we had a family room with two bedrooms and one bathroom a nice little balcony with a land view. Plenty of space, with everything you might need, tea and coffee facilities included. Also a hairdryer in the bathroom. The shower was amazing, they even provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (but we had already brought some)  the bed was super comfortable! Mini bar was restocked however we did have to request this a couple of times, this is included in the all inclusive price.

Cleanliness: staff were always out cleaning, the hotel was very clean, the pools were cleaned every night. The only area I would question was the splash park, it definitely needs a flooring replacement, with signs of wear but also spots of mould ( you could smell that the hotel was trying to deal with this, but a full floor replacement is definitely needed). There was a nasty smell near the turquoise bar but I couldn't say exactly what was the cause to this.

The staff kept the eating areas clean, wiping down tables and high chairs between use and really worked on maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily, towels replaced when left in the floor and bedding changed when the bedding card was left in the bed.

Staff: all staff were lovely, no issues at all. Very hard working.

Entertainment: Great! By far the best entertainment ive seen at any hotel, loved the Beyonce and Michael Jackson show. It does get busy with seats, so i would recommend arriving earlier if you want a decent view of the show

Food and dining: Very repetitive, the street food area was best for food. Always something to eat but boring after three days of eating the same stuff. Dining and food areas were very busy.

Sickness: Ive read a lot about sickness at this hotel and can honestly say I think its more of a guest issue rather than an issue with the hotel. While we were there I noticed people giving their children calpol around the pool who were obviously not very well. My toddler was sick on our last day (this was a 12 hour bug), we isolated to our hotel room as to not spread any illness, however I dont think every guest is as considerate hence the spread of the bug. 

Bars: the bars serve branded drinks such as Pepsi and sprite, there is juice, milkshakes, cocktails mocktails and much more, plenty of choice for drinks and the mocktails/cocktails are delicious!

Pools/ play area: the pools and slides were great! Lots of fun and something for everyone. The play area was also a big hit with my toddler, it is also under shade so perfect for them 'high sun' times of the day. There were some repairers needed in the football court areas which could do with sorting. The fair ground and arcade we also great, we paid €80 for 55 credits and found this to be plenty to enjoy a few rides at the fair, some arcade games and the light up ride on bikes, bit pricy but your on holiday, enjoy it! Kids club was enjoyed a few times by out 11 year old, nice for the kids to cool down or they can even attend if they dont want to watch the show, parents dont have to stay.

Hotel shop: very expensive! We found a should five minutes walk down the road called A101, much cheaper!

Phototography: we got some great family pictures, €15 per picture, pricey and no negotiation on price.

Overall I would recommend the hotel, I would rate it at a 4.5 as the food needs to improve and the splashpark floor needs updating and a few repairs needed here and there. Personally I think there needs to be another food restaurant to manage the busier times, additionally guests need to be considerate, health is more important than your tan, if you or your children are poorly stay in your room!
