Nice hotel
Good, calm hotel, tasty food, recommended for families from each country.
Nice Holiday
We liked everything in Monte Carlo. Food was delicious, personel was polite and friendly. The rooms were ok, there is also a balkony
Not 4 star
Very shabby and tired looking. Food aweful, feels very claustraphobic surrounded by buildings and not much open space. It is definitely not 4 star and would not recommend.

Drawbacks of Monte Carlo.
The service staff are very friendly, except for the person at the reception who carries the luggage—he is grumpy and rude. The rooms are tidy, though cooking odors drift into them. The food is monotonous and never changes.
Disappointing trip
The only positive things to say about this hotel are its decent location and cleanliness. Even then, our bathroom smelled of sewage during the last two days of our stay.
The staff speak very little English, and as international guests, only one waiter made us feel welcome and acknowledged. The rest could not have cared less about us.
The food was mediocre, with the same flavours day after day.
There was entertainment during dinner almost every evening, but the same acts kept repeating.
One or both lifts break down every day.
I would also not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. From the end of breakfast until almost midnight, the hotel plays the same Turkish disco songs at an extremely high volume.
