Having an amazing location, this beautiful hotel is situated in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The spectacular volcanic beach of Playa Jardín with its black sand is just a couple of minutes’ walk away. In the surroundings, guests may find many restaurants, cafes and bars, which are perfect to spend a lovely evening having a delicious local meal or some drinks with friends. In the property, visitors can rest and relax by the side of the outdoor swimming pool or have a refreshing swim in it. The gym is a great place where to feel energised and active. The restaurants will receive them with open arms and offer them meals that will please all types of tastes. As well as the whole complex, the rooms have been perfectly decorated to create a cosy atmosphere with a combination of bright and warm tones. They are equipped with comfortable beds and all the essential amenities to have a pleasant stay.
I was half board and my daughters were all inclusive. I’ll start with the positives as not many - the rooms were large and clean and had nice views and the location was good. The food was terrible - worst I’ve ever had, visually so unappealing and nothing tasted of anything and not even close to being warm. The options available looked disgusting to be honest and were never topped up hence everything was always cold. The rude staff in restaurant watched me continuously to make sure I wasn’t drinking any water that I hadn’t paid for. Was also told on my last day that I couldn’t sit with my deaf daughter whilst she ate as I wasn’t allowed on the restaurant because I wasn’t entitled to lunch. Despite telling them I wouldn’t be eating or drinking anything. Such rude staff. Spanish prioritised at pool bar. The sunbed situation was ridiculous. Probably about one bed to every seven people at the hotel. Yet a whole grassy area that people weren’t allowed to sit down on even though you couldn’t provide beds for people. So much wasted space. People were so angry about it the police got called. Beds in rooms shocking with the springs sticking out. Overall a terrible hotel mainly because of the food and pool area. Would never return to any be live hotel ever again
I don’t normally write reviews. This is my first time but I felt like I needed to so no one else wasted money on this hotel the rooms are very dated which doesn’t bother me, but Photos online are not recent, the food is terrible there was pasta with sauce but really bland the cheapest pizzas I’ve ever seen with hardly any sauce or cheese on them look like the cheapest ones you would pick up in a supermarket, the french fries were so dry that you could choke on them. No cocktail menu which I would expect in a an all-inclusive so I asked The bar staff and he said he could make me a piña colada It was cuddled. so I didn’t have that again, not much choice for breakfast the only thing that was half decent was the croissants but you have to get there quick because the food is never refreshed ! The place is very run down, the elevators sometimes didn’t work and I was on the 12th floor. I had constant drowning from a fan I’m guessing on the roof. A good points where the staff were really nice and friendly and the room was clean but just dated.
This hotel in my opinion is a 2/5, we booked an all inclusive which all we wanted was a nice lovely hotel to have lovley dinners and drinks and sit by the pool, to start with the hotels and rooms looked completely different to the website and is 100% misleading, the breakfast is undercooked may aswell still be inside a freezer, the lunch is okay it’s edible, the dinner is fish every single day and as a pregnant lady myself I’m not able to eat fish so there isn’t many alternatives, the food is never refreshed it’s left out, I’ve watched chefs pick up food around the sides of the bowls and put it back in the dishes after it’s been sat on the dirty side, the drinks at the pool bar aren't anything special my friends couldn’t ever get a decent alcoholic drink or cocktail! The place is very run down, elevators are a hit and miss whether they work or not, staff don’t make you welcome whatsoever apart from the two people at the reception which they was lovely apart from that they blank you. I’ve never stayed in such a horrible hotel in my life, I’ve eaten a hot dog from the snack bar which made me projectile vomit, I’ll never return back to any be live hotels, it also says adults only I’ve seen plenty of children, your also not allowed to walk around the hotel without a cover on over your bikini yet whilst I was sat sunbathing I got flashed by a women’s breast which nothing was done about. I’m so thankful I’m flying home tomorrow this has been more stress than a holiday everyone I’ve spoken to in this hotel has said the exact same as me and I am so disappointed with how much money I spent on this holiday! Also contacted easy jet the first to night we got here to complain and say and all they said we they’ll give us a goodie basket that we have not received 😂😂 anyway don’t waste your money, unless your 70+ then you would probably love this hotel
Great hotel, very central with Loro Parque about 15-20 minutes walk and the old town centre about the same the other way. My room was absolutely gorgeous, I upgraded €10 per night for a balcony room and I loved it, I would highly recommend doing this. My bed was super comfy, perfect aircon, the view of the mountains and the sea was beautiful. I slept brilliantly. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff work tirelessly to look after the guests. I was a solo traveller and the staff at dinner even asked if I wanted a drink which they brought to my table for me! The food was plentiful, you could eat and drink constantly all day as even when the restaurant was closed there was food at the bar. I was astounded that there was pink cava at my first breakfast! Wonderful.👍 The pool area is also good however, the water was a little cold for my liking 😂. There was the usual story of sun lounge hoggers who left their towels there all day and we're never to be seen! I sat in the shade for a while until someone left and I eventually got one. People were up at the crack of dawn putting their towels on! One day one of the pool staff brought me over a sun lounger which was much appreciated. I met lovely people to chat with, from North London and West Sussex which made the holiday a bit more special. The staff did take towels off the beds occasionally, but it's a global problem. Towels should be removed after a certain length of time to allow everyone to use the sun loungers. It should be in hotel policies that towels will be removed after a cut off point. Perhaps the management could consider this for the future? I really can find nothing much to complain about. I had a wonderful holiday and as a solo traveller, I felt extremely safe both in and out of the resort which means a lot. I would highly recommend a walk into the old town which is stunning with a vibrant atmosphere and plenty to see. Thank you so much to all the staff at Be Live for making my holiday a memorable one!
Ignore the negative reviews, it’s a lovely hotel. We stayed on the 10th floor which had great views of the hillside. Room was cleaned everyday and restocked with fresh towels and toiletries. The breakfast was great, lots of choice - hot food, yoghurt, fruits, cheese and cold meats etc. The pool is a nice size and the atmosphere is fun but relaxed. Location is excellent, 5 mins from the beach, 10 mins from the town and 20 mins from Loro Parque. Overall great value for money, we would definitely come back.
