The hotel is situated in the quiet neighbourhood of El Peach in the resort town of Puerto de la Cruz. The botanical gardens can be found only 300 m away. The centre of Puerto de la Cruz and the famous beach at Martianez Lake are just 1.5 km away. There are also links to the public transport network nearby. Parque Nacional del Teide is some 42 km away. The hotel offers apartments spread over 2 floors. It is surrounded by green areas of landscaped gardens, making it an ideal place for rest and relaxation. Guests can recline on the loungers beside the freshwater swimming pool or unwind in the hot tub and sauna. A tennis club located in the vicinity offers a more active pastime option.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed one week at this lovely location. 15 minutes to the beach, restaurants close by! Very convenient and quiet location. They staff were so helpful the whole stay. Great room service from Pere. I would love to visit here again
Booked with friends for a lads holiday, probably wasn't the right hotel for that but was still a very pleasant stay none the less. The hotel is almost eerily silent all day, despite the visible presence of other visitors (all families / couples), which is good because the walls in the rooms are fairly thin. No AC either but the ceiling fan did the job well. Nice big Smart TV. Good shower and very clean overall, good amenities in the kitchen as well. Wi-Fi was a little slow at times. Pool was a good temperature every time we went. Biggest issue is probably how far away it is from everything else. There are bars and restaurants dotted around but it's at least a 20 minute walk to the sea front with the main area. I would recommend renting a car, for which there is ample parking space near and around the hotel. Despite a few very minor issues it's a great little hotel and we definitely didn't regret our stay.
We stayed for 10 days at Club Ambassador Apartments Tenerife and had a wonderful holiday. The apartment was very clean, in an excellent location, with beautiful gardens and a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Two supermarkets are less than 10 minutes away, which was very convenient. A special thank you to the reception staff--- Julie, Adriana, Johanna and our cleaner Pere, all were extremely helpful and kind. They really looked after us so nicely. We will definately be going back again next year! Highly recommended. Thank you all!
We always choose smaller friendly hotels and this hotel was perfect for us. Located in a quiet area, with supermarkets and a selection of restaurants approx and Botanical Gardens 10min walk away. We are keen walkers so we walked daily to the sea front approx 20mins downhill 35 mins uphill ( with stops for a breather an the steps ) The atmosphere was calm and quiet, plenty of space to relax on the roof terraces. The rooms were very comfortable and well looked after. (Thank you Olivia) Thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome
We did consider 4 stars but on reflection the few things that could have been better were either minor or not the fault of Ambassador. The staff were all lovely and apartment was kept clean throughout and was very spacious with everything needed for a self catering stay. The terrace was large and although it only had one sunbed there was room for two and a second bed and sun shade were supplied on request. The wifi was very good. There was no aircon but the ceiling fans were just about acceptable for October temperatures. The only negative for the apartment was a separate charge for the room safe. I think the world has moved on and I personally expect a room safe as standard with no extra charge. The area has very steep hills and although we like walking it was a very tedious journey back to the apartments from the main tourist areas. The biggest disappointment was the food. We had booked half board at the Riu Garoe and this we found to be poor. It was a very average all inclusive type buffet with many dishes that were cold. There was always a roast meat joint but on one occasion they ran out of meat with two hours of service left. Stews were usually made of the same meat as the roast so if you do not eat pork for example it can be hard to find anything suitable on those days. The desserts were mostly typical gelatin cakes. It became very tedious after a few days and we asked if we could cancel the last week of the food package but this proved impossible. Our recommendation is not to book the food package but use the extensive self catering facilities of the apartment and/or eat out at one of the many restaurants in the area.
