This marvellous hotel is strategically located in Playa de las Américas, just a stone's throw from beautiful and stunning beaches where guests can truly relax under the sun. In the surrounding area, visitors will find several golf courses for their enjoyment and plenty of shopping and entertainment options, so that everyone can find what they really like. Surrounded by an extraordinary botanical garden and with excellent facilities, this establishment is the best accommodation option when travelling for business or leisure. All guest rooms are very comfortable and roomy, offering the perfect space for rest and relaxation. Standard ones include a flat-screen satellite TV and a balcony or terrace and there are accessible rooms available with a pool view. The hotel includes two fantastic outdoor pools, one of them heated in winter, apart from other services like evening shows.
We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis with no upgrades.
Location is very close to the Safari Centre/Golden Mile - (literally backs on to it) and 5 minutes walk from the beach.
Overall, I would say this is a good hotel. We were absolutely blown away by the lobby area – the water features and plants are stunning and really give the hotel a real "wow" factor.
Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. We couldn't fault it.
The swimming pools were lovely, and the warm jacuzzi area was a nice extra. My main issue with the pool area was the lack of maintenance. There were A LOT of loose tiles around the pools, many of the sunbeds had clearly seen better days and sagged in the middle, and some of the jacuzzi jets weren't working.
Breakfast was decent overall, with a wide selection available and serving hours from 7:30am until 12pm. However, the hot food could have been kept warmer. The hash browns looked crispy but tasted as though they'd been sitting out for far too long.
One minor annoyance was the Wi-Fi, which frequently disconnected and required me to log in again.
Towards the end of our holiday, we were woken from around 8am by drilling and banging due to renovation work that I believe was happening on the third floor. This mainly affected guests staying closer to that floor, so it wasn't too disruptive for us, but it's worth being aware of if you're planning to stay while the work is ongoing.
Overall, despite a few maintenance issues and minor inconveniences, we had a pleasant stay. The beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, and good facilities outweighed the negatives.
Excellent hotel and staff very friendly
Lovely hotel , excellent staff and very friendly , very good room and very clean overall would recommend highly
This is my second time coming to this hotel and is one of the best i’ve stayed at and would highly recommend. location is perfect with just a 2min walk off the golden mile. The rooms are clean and modern and have aircon. The breakfast is served 7:30am-12pm and they have an extremely wide variety of choices. The pool bar is also great for drinks and lunch. The hotels bar is very spacious and has a lovley outdoor area. They also keep the hotel very clean as i saw grounds men picking up leaves etc everyday. The noise level around the hotel is great as the nightlife and the busy atmosphere is a couple minute walk away as said previously.
The location was excellent and is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s situated close to everything you could need, with most attractions, restaurants, and bars within walking distance.
The atmosphere was pleasant, although some background music around the pool would have made it feel more lively and enjoyable.
The room itself was very nice, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into its design and presentation.
The staff in the hotel’s restaurants and bars were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The reception staff were also welcoming and efficient during check-in. However, the biggest issue we experienced was that we were never informed about the construction work taking place above our room.
Unfortunately, our room was directly beneath the construction, and from around 8:00 a.m. each morning we were woken by loud hammering and grinding noises. When you’re paying over £2,000 for a holiday, you expect to be able to relax, not be disturbed by building work. It made it very difficult to enjoy a peaceful morning or unwind in the room. As a lighter note, after one evening of perhaps a little too much sangria, the hammering genuinely felt like it was happening inside our heads!
Overall, while there were many positives—particularly the location, room, and staff—the disruption caused by the construction significantly affected our stay. Had we been informed beforehand or allocated a room away from the work, our experience would have been much more enjoyable.
We also find it somewhat unacceptable that guests are not made aware of the additional noise from the construction before or during check-in. Had we known in advance, we could have made an informed decision or requested a room away from the work. Being left to discover it ourselves was disappointing and detracted from what should have been a relaxing holiday.
