Not the best experience
Check-in experience was poor, I had to wait and then chase my room on arrival, staff were not very helpful sorting this issue on the day. Room we got in the end, 5014 did have some smell inside and wifi box was constantly flashing, disturbing sleep for my wife. Food during breakfast is ok, but mostly cold. Eating area was very messing with people constantly walking all directions, so probably would need reorganising by hotel. Pool area very busy, get your sunbed very early or never. Animation very poor for 5* hotel, no music in the pool area. Stayed here second time, but in my opinion hotel went backwards since last visit. On the other hand, hotel location itself is very good if you want to spend time in the beach around, has free parking and plenty decent restaurant closely by.
Another great holidsy
Recently returned from a 10 night stay in this wonderful hotel. Have been numerous times most recently in October last year April this year. As with previous visits all staff from checking in to checking out were very friendly. We stayed B&B and found ample choice and variety for breakfast The pool area is very relaxing with occasional music for the aqua gym. Never had an issue getting a sun bed even after 9am, there were still people putting towels on beds from 7am even though it was still dark then. Evening entertainment was varied and mostly enjoyable. Animation team were great at organising activities without being to pushy. We have already booked yo return in April next year and wil be bringing daughter, Son in law and 3 year old grandson. keep up the good work

Great value for Money in the heart of Las Americas
We really love this complex. 3 hotels, and all of them are great. Our stay at the Mediterranean Palace was made great by David at the Kids Club, Abel and Carmen at the reception, and tge whole personnel at the restaurant!
Satisfactory but less than expected for 5 star hotel
Hotel visually nice in main areas but room was very small and shower was poor, it went hot and cold all the time, it constantly flooded the bathroom and we kept getting a very bad sewage smell coming from bathroom drains when we were even using it. Every day we would come back to the room and it would be stinking of sewage. The beds were uncomfortable and mattress felt like it needed replaced, you constantly felt like you were rolling over to one side in it as there was a big dip in it.
Staff very friendly on arrival and during stay but Reception desk seemed to be a bit more abrupt and down beat when checking out.
Breakfast was average, food selection was below average from other hotels we have stayed at in Tenerife and mainland Spain. A lot of the time the cooked buffet food was actually cold and one toaster didn’t work the whole time we stayed there so there was always a que for the remaining one working toaster. We never seen anyone trying to repair or replace this during our whole stay. The coffee machines would one give you just over half a small cup of coffee but if you tried to press it again it was slightly too much and just overflowed everywhere.
Other hotels we have stayed at in mainland Spain and Tenerife previously have also had a far nicer clientele. A lot of the guests staying here we found to be very rude and have no manors at all, especially at breakfast time and around the pool area.
Overall not what we expected from and advertised 5 star hotel. We have stayed at a lot of other 5 star hotels for similar prices in Europe and basing it on past experiences. I would say this hotel would be more of a 3.5 star rating not 5 star.
Would we return? Probably not actually. When returning to Tenerife we would go back to the other hotel we previously stayed at in Adeje instead as we couldn’t fault it. When paying the price we did for an advertised 5 star hotel, we expected better
Rooms are great as is the pool
Holding their high standard. No bar last though - not sure why.
