Staff nice and friendly bars looked nice and good drink choice. Rooms dated stayed for a week and bedding did not get changed. a lot of small insects on the floor in room and on arrival safe did not work and cupboard door falling off. Main room door would not shut fully when leaving and had to remember to pull shut when leaving room. Shower was nice and powerful and towels changed daily. Ac was a bit noisy. Not a lot of food choice for main meals and food seemed lukewarm. If you like dessert they were a lot of choice and nice. Alacart meal was disappointing not a lot of choice and the food average. Subbed brackets loose and bits falling of them in adults pool area and got glass in my foot one day round pool area. And on last day at check out are all inclusive bands got cut off at 12:00 and if we wanted food and drink we got told we would have to pay by reception staff I paid for all inclusive till I get picked up to leave hotel I will not chance going to a Barcelo again this is advertised as a five star but more like a three star hotel in my opinion.

Lovely time at Barcelo
Fantastic rooms, delicious meals and varied daily activities. Highlights include wine and chocolate tasting with Jessica and the tour of the nearby nature reserve.

Chill space
As a place to chill out in very very pleasant surroundings this place scores well. Will be back. Nice mixture of age groups .
CANDLE WORKSHOP
My friend and I took part in the candle workshop with Enrico and Oriana at Barcelo Tenerife. I cannot recommend this workshop enough. What a beautiful, calming experience. The candles turned out beautiful. Both Enrico and Oriana were so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend this experience.

Barcelo Tenerife
Our third visit to Barcelo Tenerife as it never disappoints. It's proximity to the airport means that you can cheaply get a taxi to and from the hotel and avoid transfer buses. An incredible location on the coast with the environmental park and Mount Teide behind, you are never short of stunning views. We went all inclusive but didn't require lunch every day as the breakfast options were immense! Selection of juices and food ranging from continental to full English options, cereals, breads and waffles was enough to suit everyone. The buffet each lunch and evening time were extensive, Mexican and Indian nights, vegetarian and GF options, local fish cooked on request and a pasta station allowing you to decide what goes into your sauce. And the desserts were exceptional. Service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The house red wine and cava we would recommend! The rooms are wonderful. We had a double, toiletries and towels are provided as well as robes, slippers, a safe and tea and coffee along with a fridge and water. We are always impressed with the standard of the rooms and the cleanliness and personal touches. We like our peace and quiet and took advantage of the adult only pool area to rest, read and relax. The hotel has a number of pools and the heated pool attracted families and was used for aqua aerobics on a few days. The sports facilities and cycle hire are great for those who want a more active holiday. We used the gym before breakfast and it offered a good range of equipment, weight machines and free weights. We preferred to spend our evenings in the balcony bar, the musicians/ singers were super and the bar staff attentive. Great views from the balcony. Booking direct through Barcelo was easy and saved us money, especially as we could book cheap and convenient flights to suit us. We would thoroughly recommend the Barcelo Tenerife, a unique and stunning hotel. In our opinion it cannot be faulted.
