Rude staff at night
I had a really bad experience when I checked in. When I got to my room. I realised that the cot that we had requested was not there. My son is disabled and cannot sleep safely in a bed. The man(I didn’t catch his name) that checked us in at reception, was so rude and dismissive. He told me but your son is 4. When I told him the circumstances he told me well you didn’t request it. This was highly distressing for me after a long day travelling. He continued to be dismissive and said he can sleep in your bed for one night. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the floor with him the first night. Other than this first night, the rest of the holiday went well. I found the rooms clean. Though we did have to get up early to get a chance of a sunbed.
Book another hotel if you expect more
The mascots are great for the kids. Free parking garage if you have a lucky. Perfect location near shops and beach. Friendly staff.
Average food; very limited selection of standard dishes during themed dinners. Some desserts run out immediately and are not replenished. Dirty tiles throughout the hotel and around the pool; dirty walls and elevators. The entire hotel needs better maintenance. The poolside sun loungers are taken early in the morning, even though there are warning signs posted. So we didn’t use the pool at all... Room: dirty bathroom tiles (both floor and walls), shower seal coming loose, dirty curtains, poorly maintained kitchenette, fridge cooling very poorly, dirty door handles,...
We expected much more based on the reviews. We had come from another 4-star hotel in the same price range, but there is no comparison; this hotel is not worth more than 3 stars. We had a great time anyway; we only came to the hotel to sleep and have dinner and breakfast.

Not to good
The hotel is very nice, and the staff have been friendly and welcoming. However, I have a serious concern regarding security. A man was allowed into my room after claiming he was staying at the hotel. I was told that reception had tried to call the room beforehand, but I was awake at the time and the phone never rang. There were also two children in the room when this happened, which made the situation even more concerning. This incident left me feeling very unsafe, and I believe it should be investigated to ensure it cannot happen again.all this happened just before 3 in the morning.
Third time at Sunwing!
Just back from our third time for us staying at Sunwing! For us as a family with young kids this hotel is ideal. Great hotel, great staff, lovely clean/modern rooms and of course the kids loved Lollo & Bernie 🦒🧸
This is the 2nd time we’ve upgraded to AI on arrival as cheaper to do it this way than pay for it at booking. Works out €56 a day per adult and all children are free. We are a family of 6 (2 adults 4 children) so well worth it for us especially for drinks, ice creams and snacks. Mini market next to the pool and priced well for snacks and drinks if you’re not AI. Food does get a bit samey but there was always usually lots to choose from.
Only slight downside is nightly entertainment. The team who do some of the shows do put effort in but think it would be good to have some variety and possibly bring in some acts/shows in which many other hotels tend to do.
Staff are all great. Made us feel at home and even remembered us from last couple of times.

⚠️ WARNING! THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL ARE THIEVES! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! ⚠️
This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. On the day of our departure, we went downstairs for our final breakfast before check-out. During our absence of just 20 minutes, a large amount of cash and valuable jewelry disappeared from our room. The incident was reported to the police immediately.
What shocked us even more was the hotel's reaction. Instead of showing any concern, offering assistance, or making any effort to investigate the situation, we were met with complete indifference and a dismissive attitude. We were left completely on our own, as if nothing had happened. Particularly disappointing was the behavior of a staff member named Melisa, who showed absolutely no empathy or professionalism.
If you value your safety and want to enjoy a stress-free vacation, stay as far away from this place as possible. We have never experienced such terrible customer service and such a disgraceful attitude towards guests.
To make matters worse, the staff have serious difficulties communicating in English, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel serving tourists from all over the world.
The breakfasts were also awful – exactly the same food every day, stale fruit, and scrambled eggs that looked and tasted as if they had been made from powdered mix.
After what happened to us and the way we were treated, we will never set foot in this hotel again. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will make sure to warn all my friends and fellow travelers.
