Pueblo Torviscas

My overall summary of Pueblos Torvicas is that it is a great and affordable hotel. The location is amazing, right by the beach and literally a 5 minute walk away. It is extremely close to multiple restaurants, including the hotel restaurant/bar, with a couple restaurants and bars just outside the hotel. The room we stayed in had its own wifi box, a balcony with chairs and a table, plus a drying rack. We stayed for a week and had a cleaner twice, however with the beach being black stubborn stand we definitely needed more towels and when we asked for me we were told we had to wait until cleaning day to get more. It was one of the more affordable hotels in that location, which is why we chose to stay there. For context our room was self catering and had a kitchen, my biggest complaints are that there were bugs in the draws and over the cutlery and crockery provided. I wish we could have had a cleaner more frequently and been given more towels, especially considering we’d be spending so much time at the beach, the towels were covered in sand and so was the floor - it made it really hard to feel clean every after a shower. One thing you also HAVE TO KNOW (which we didn’t) is that you have to reserve sun beds with the hotel, if you don’t, you won’t have access to the pool. Obviously in the heart of August the hotel was very busy and the sunbeds would book up quickly. I understand it’s difficult to cater enough sunbeds for every guest, but also some guests would reserve sunbeds and stay there all day, meaning other people couldn’t use them at all.

Overall, it’s a cheap(er) hotel to some of its rivals. The staff are friendly. Our room had a balcony which was great. What would have made our experience better is if we were given fresh towels everyday and the kitchen facilities were better.

Great location with plenty of nice bars and eateries. The Pantry does lovely meals. Sunday dinners are brill but you have to book if you want one.
