The hotel’s location is absolutely fantastic — close to the sea, with shops and restaurants just a 3-minute walk away.

The hotel staff were wonderful, with the exception of one lady, Michaele(or smth similar) I believe she was from Germany. Unfortunately, she came across as rather arrogant and overconfident and, unlike everyone else at the hotel, she did not give us a warm welcome.

The rooms are standard and a little on the small side, but this was not a major issue for us, as we only spent a few hours there, basically just to sleep. 😁 The rooms were spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. The housekeeping ladies were lovely, extremely friendly and always helpful.

The food was absolutely first-class — delicious, fresh and with a fantastic variety. Every day featured cuisine from a different country, including Italy, China, Mexico and India. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of authentic flavours. The drinks were great too.

The bar was fantastic, with genuine, good-quality alcohol. There was certainly no watered-down or low-quality alcohol in the drinks. The bar staff were absolutely wonderful — friendly, energetic, cheerful and always smiling. 😉

The entertainment was also excellent, with something for both children and adults and activities suitable for all age groups. There were constantly games and activities around the pool, including water polo, tennis and fun water-based challenges. The entertainment team were fantastic, without exception — energetic, funny and genuinely lovely people.

The only thing I would criticise is the size of the swimming pools. They felt a little too small for the number of guests. The same applies to the sun loungers, which were placed very close together, making it difficult to walk between them or get in and out comfortably. They were also, of course, reserved from around 4 or 5 a.m., so it was very difficult to find a lounger after the pool opened around 10 a.m.

There was also an adults-only area, but unfortunately I cannot comment on it as I did not use it.

Overall, this is a wonderful hotel and we had a fantastic stay. I would definitely come back here again someday! 😉

We just spent 10 days here and we had an excellent time. The food here is exceptional a really wide range and I have a very fussy eater in my family who managed to have a heaped plate every day!

Room is perhaps a little tired but cleaned every day and we weren't in the room much anyway.

Most praise must go to the staff who are all friendly and helpful! Shout out (as promised) to Ivar the Lifeguard. The animation team are exceptional, it is very impressive to watch them switch between two sometimes three languages. My main praise is reserved for the leader of the team (didn't get his name) - not only did he switch between English/Spanish effortlessly, he actually managed to be very funny as well.

My only criticisms would be the karaoke night which was hideous and any of the people who thought they were good singers on that night - you weren't. And, the dreaded sunbed wars, which we had to play or you can't get a bed. Looking at other reviews the sunbed issue is the one which comes up again and again and again, and if you just enforced removing towels then it would disappear as a negative!

We recommended this so highly my BIL and SIL have now booked their holiday here for next year. :)

Fantastic hotel, but stay was severely affected by the selfish people in the neighbouring room smoking on their balcony in the presence of their very young child.

The smoke was so strong it made it impossible to enjoy our balcony and the smell would come into our room if we had the door open.

Reported the smoking to hotel staff who said they would investigate with the room (as they be informed me smoking on the balconies was not permitted), but either the hotel guests didn't care or hotel staff didn't actually check because it continued for 3 days until we went home. Even the housekeeper who was cleaning our room said she could definitely smell it. It wouldn't be difficult to put up a sign in the rooms reiterating no smoking!

The 5am sun lounger hoggers were out in force and staff didn't intervene and remove towels from those people who clearly left their towels out super early. So we could only use the pool much later in the evening from 4.30pm onwards once the lounger hoggers had retreated elsewhere. Also there were someone vaping around the pool, and again staff did not intervene.

Food was absolutely amazing and plentiful (as were the drinks). There were themed food evenings which were amazing, but these were never advertised in advance.

Shout out to Sidi in the bar, he was super friendly and welcoming and was always able to remember our drinks orders.

Note to parents: watch out for the arcade. It costs €2 a game and it gives out tickets that you can redeem for a prize. The minimum prize is 200 tickets which is the sort of thing you could get in one of those coin machines if you stuck £2 in (and turned the handle). The cost of getting 200 tickets is immense. Judging by the fading of the boxes in the prize machine, some of the more expensive prizes (~20000 tickets) have clearly been there for a while.

Top tip: ask for a room from the 7th floor for the views. We had room 737 and the room had a view of the city, mountains and sea view. The door didn't fit right as there was a large gap at the bottom of the door which let a lot of light in at night and we had to place a suitcase to block out the lights. Bathroom was a decent size but some cracks in the basin.

Overall apart from the selfish smokers it was a great stay and I probably would go back.
