We're just finishing our 10 day holiday and here's our review ! The location is the most northern hotel in Adeje, straight out onto the pebble beach and great from a swim in the sea (lifeguards are on) - the beautiful village of Caleta is a stones through away and worth a walk around (lovely cafe called Bloom does fantastic brunches). It's half an hour's walk into the centre of Adeje but only 8euros in a taxi (they park often outside the hotel) - we didn't use the shuttle bus. The hotel is very clean, very good sized rooms and balconies and big showers. We went half board - food was great, loads of choice, you can easily swap lunch for dinner without pre-booking (great option for us). One let down was the gym, 1 multigym and a rack of free weights, quite a few running machines but overall needs more stuff. The pools are big, the saltwater pool is big and 2metres deep, the other pool is more shallow and great for kids, smaller pool for toddlers and a fun pool which we didn't use but is spot on for younger kids. One niggle is the tiles around the pool, you definitely need your flip flops, red hot, a lot of loose grout - like I say just a niggle. There's no music around the pool are which was great, also didn't hear any scousers which was even better 😂😂😂 Loads of different nationalities here, not just Brits 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The skybar on the 7th floor is lovely on an evening (from 7pm for us non-privileged users) - the piano bar is also very good - last orders at midnight and quietness soon after as most go to bed by 12.30 (lights go out) - not a problem. I would recommend this hotel for families, I personally wouldn't come back but if you get a good deal (we went with jet2) I'd recommend it to anyone. Costa Adeje is lovely and very clean - impressive walk along the front with very nice places to eat. Btw cracking Italian (il Sapporo 🇮🇹) next to the supermarket about 50 yards from the front of the hotel. Hope this helps everyone 👍🏻

It’s the little things that count!

We travelled as a family of four arriving at nearly midnight on our first evening. I must admit to being quite wary after so many reviews endorsing booking the ‘Privilege’ package which we hadn’t booked and was wondering what would greet us. However, there was absolutely no need to panic. This hotel does practically everything extremely well and is a credit to its management and staff. We had 2 rooms on the third floor which were kept immaculate. Our mini fridge was fully stocked for our arrival which was beyond welcome after picking up a delay with our flight. The air conditioning and huge over head fan were perfect for keeping us cool and there were so many pillows it was wonderful to sink into bed after such a long day.

Our stay continued in the same vain. All the little general annoyances that we tend to put up with while on holiday had been addressed, ie lots of coat hangers, thick towels, a bottle opener, loads of drawer and wardrobe space, BBC and ITV on the television, a bed that doesn’t leave you in agony, invisible cleaning staff who managed to appear and disappear without being seen and smart, polite, professional staff who carry out their work with the minimum of fuss and noise without trying to become your best friend (I include the wonderful robot staff in the restaurant in this!).

As we had booked the all inclusive option we were also able to enjoy the wonderful food in the Teppan Yaki and La Tosca restaurants which were a truly special experience.

The hotel is in a beautiful quiet area with a supermarket and a few restaurants across the road and not too far from Siam Park and the Siam Mall.

We had a truly enjoyable stay and are hoping to return in the future.

The rooms on the ground floor (those with numbers starting from 200 and above) have a noticeable musty smell.

The rooms on the ground floor (those with numbers starting from 200 and above) have a noticeable musty smell. They are mostly located next to the garden, offer no meaningful view, and only have a partial view of the pool and the garden. The door frames and skirting boards are scratched, worn, and outdated. The armchair was dirty, and the table had scratched surfaces with peeling paint. The wardrobe had an unpleasant smell and looked old despite being repainted. One of the wardrobe doors was difficult to open. A damp, musty odor was present throughout the room, including the bathroom and the wardrobe. Overall, the room gave the impression that it had not been properly renovated for about 20 years. We decided to change our room due to this bad moisture smell 😕🫤 The rooms on the upper floors are in noticeably better condition. They appear more modern, are better maintained, and many of them offer much nicer views compared to the ground-floor rooms.

Disappointing Stay – Not the Four-Star All-Inclusive Experience We Expected

We recently stayed at this hotel for one week and, unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the standard we expected from a four-star, all-inclusive resort.

One of the first disappointments was discovering that there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room unless you paid an extra charge. We were also surprised to find there was an additional daily charge to use the room safe, which seemed unreasonable for an all-inclusive holiday.

The hotel could also benefit from better signage, as it was often difficult to find basic facilities such as the toilets. During our entire seven-night stay, our bed linen was never changed, which was disappointing.

Another surprise was the pool towel policy. We were given towels on arrival but told it would cost €1 each time we wanted them exchanged. Again, this didn't feel in keeping with the standard of a four-star all-inclusive hotel.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the inconsistent and sometimes unfriendly service from some members of staff. On one occasion, we went to the piano bar for a drink and were questioned about why we were there before being told, in front of other guests, to go downstairs. On another occasion, I asked for bottled water at the downstairs bar and was told it wasn't available there and to go to the piano bar instead. Later, a waiter at the terrace bar told me water was available downstairs but only in glasses, despite us having received bottled water during our stay. The conflicting information was confusing and frustrating.

We also had an uncomfortable experience in the restaurant. There were three of us, and we sat at a table with five place settings but only three chairs. A member of staff approached us, asked how many people were dining, and when we replied "three", simply pointed at the table and said "five" in a rude manner. It left us feeling embarrassed and unwelcome.

The hotel itself is attractive, the pool areas are lovely, and many members of staff were polite and hardworking. However, the number of additional charges, inconsistent communication, and the attitude of some staff members meant we did not feel particularly welcome during our stay.

Overall, this holiday did not provide the level of service we expected, and sadly, we would not choose to return.
