Just got back from a week’s stay here as a family of 4 we travelled with another family of 3 so this is an honest review of our stay.

Pros:-

• Hotel grounds were spotless they are always cleaning which is lovely.
• Room was dated but clean and towels replaced daily and cleaned every morning (tip: don’t leave anything on the bed when you leave the room as the maids wont clean/ make the bed as I’m guessing they don’t want to touch your electronics which is fair enough)
• Drinks are good, lots of choice.
• Evening entertainment is good you have two choices of entertainment out the front is usually live music and out the back was mostly an act, and you get table service which is good too.
• They have lots of activities on in the day for adults and children.
• Not too far from the beachfront the walk isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be.
• Food was ok, always found something to eat.

Cons:-

• The sun-bed situation is diabolical the worst we have encountered, you have to sit with your sun-bed until 10am meaning you can’t go for breakfast as a family as breakfast closes at 10:15 we go on holiday to spend time with our loved ones and whilst i do get the pros of taking towels off beds that aren’t being used so that other people can get a sun-bed i think its awful that you can never eat as a family at breakfast if you want a sun-bed. I’d hate to have gone here when my children were smaller trying to navigate this situation. Also if you want a lot of beds together more than one person must be with the beds.
• You are limited to two drinks per person when at the bar so you have to go up multiple times to get everyone a drink if you are a bigger family, or more people need to go up together to get the drinks which is annoying if you have children and are trying to watch them whilst they are in the pool.
• You are not allowed to play catch in the pool even with a small ball, you are not allowed any inflatable other than a ring even though they sell other inflatables in the shop onsite, but yet they bring out big plastic boats which hurt people when they bang into them as the children trying to navigate these find it difficult. (Make that make sense)
• This isn’t a hotel problem but there were so many families there that just didn’t care what their children were doing just letting them run riot and even harassing other visitors, i get the parents are on holiday too but teach your child respect, other families have spent their hard earned money on coming here too!!
• The beds in the room we stayed in were honestly the most uncomfortable beds we have slept in, i woke up numerous times in the night with sore hips as the bed was so hard.
• The pool is located in such an awkward place, you get sun on your sun-bed from around 10:30-3:30 give or take as the hotel surrounds the pool.
• The lifeguards sit either inside or just outside the towel hut, (usually wearing earphones) so if anything bad was to happen they would struggle to actually see or hear it!.

Would we go back again….. no, it is advertised as 4* on jet 2 i would rate it as a lower end 3*.

Would i recommend it to anyone else….. also no, as although we had a nice time here, we have been to other resorts for around the same price that are much better so the con’s of this hotel outweigh the pro’s for us.

I have just came back from a week at gf fanabe me and my 8 year old daughter went together, firstly the hotel is lovely! The rooms are just basic but spacious and the cleaners do an amazing job! Unfortunately we didn’t have a view from our room and it was just a tree too look at and random steps in our room, the pools where very nice but it gets so busy that your lucky too find a lounger the policy is that you have to find your loungers and stay with them so basically if you want one you need to sit on your bed from very early in the morning too 10am when you can leave the beds with towels as someone walks up and down making sure you stay with the beds! Is a very busy hotel with more people than beds, 3 pools are very good one which offers entertainment in the mornings, food is very good we had half board which is breakfast and dinner or you can choose the lunch which is stuck to evening meal, there is a pool bar with food for all inclusive which we did try for payment but wasn’t very nice.. everything you need is a walk away! Amazing shops all along the front, beach is 5 minute walk , aqua land and activities are a 5 minute cab so can not beat location!! Lots of shopping centres in walking distance.. we had a amazing time here and the staff are very quick and helpful will definitely be back 🩷
