El Duque

El duque location is pretty good right beside the shopping centre about 15 mins walk from the beach. People with mobility problems possible could struggle with all the hills. The pool areas were both very nice and never a problem to get a sunbed. We went all inclusive the staff were mostly friendly enough but some are ignorant. There is the loveliest man that draws you for 10 euro in a character form he is there every night by the pool very talented. Entertainment was good enough. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel lights up beautifully at night.

We booked this last minute with Jet2 Holidays and we weren't expecting much as it was quite cheap and 3 stars, however, the studio rooms were really big and good facilities (a bit dated but we don't care about that), the pools were lovely and it wasn't crowded so plenty of choice where to put your sun beds and umbrellas. We read mixed reviews on the food, but it was excellent, really good choice and variety every day ( but yes if you want burger chips and pizza everyday then you can). Good choice of meat and fish everyday and lots of fresh salads and deserts too. Also pool bar doing snack food all day too. Plenty of drinks to choose from on the all inclusive, so I was very glad we did that options as it was worth every penny. Hotel is a next to a shopping centre, very handy and close to bars and restaurants and a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Markets to buy your holiday t-shirts and sun glasses opposite twice a week. Overall very pleased and outdid our expectations. Staff great too - thank you.
