Location very good for el duque and Fañabe , not noisy . We had a roadside balcony and was fine Hotel very very clean , staff friendly Food at breakfast and dinner excellent as was the service . Lovely swimming pool and there was a rooftop sunbathing area along with a po and jacuzzi perfect for sitting in reading or listening to music . Missed a bit of background music but soon started Listening to podcasts with my pods and was fine. Great place for couples , slightly older although there were a few young couples . Mainly Dutch , few German , few English . Pillow menu available to make your bed just right . Rooms spacious . Clean fantastic Walk in wardrobe We would go again for another relaxingbreak . Head out if you want entertainment but we wanted to relax .
We had a fantastic 10 day holiday here. We loved everything about this hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the place was spotless throughout and we genuinely were gutted to leave.
The hotel is in a great location, you can walk down to Fañabé beach or to Duque beach easily. There’s a supermarket right opposite the hotel for getting snacks etc.
We were really impressed with the availability of sunbeds around the pool. The lifeguard would remove any towels that had been left unattended on beds for a period of time. This stopped the early morning reservation of sunbeds.
We were also really impressed with the breakfast and evening meals in the hotel. Lots of choice and great quality. We were half board and if we fancied going out on an evening you could speak to reception and swap to having lunch instead.
Finally we had a top floor superior room, it had a view of the pool and could see the sea in the background. It was a lovely big room and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. The maids kept it spotless and put a bottle of water in the fridge everyday. My only criticism is that there is no plug socket by a mirror so could only straighten my hair in the bathroom. Not ideal but not a major problem.
We managed to keep the room on as we had an evening flight and was impressed that we kept it until our departure at 6pm and it only cost €30. All in all a wonderful hotel and we will definitely return.
Hotel was top draw. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Staff super friendly and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Went B&B and breakfast very good. Always hot and plenty of choices.
Always plenty of loungers around the pool, whatever time you go down. Impeccably clean.
If you’re hiring a car, there is no hotel parking, but there is underground parking 100 yards away under the supermarket.
Good variety of restaurants within a short walk catering for all tastes.
First time at the hotel; we stayed for a week. Our flight on arrival was a late one, so they kindly left a meal for us in the restaurant, even though it had closed by that time. Our room was well appointed, overlooked the pool and was pretty spacious. It had a kettle and a coffee machine; supplies of tea, coffee, water were topped up daily. Towels were changed daily; linen perhaps twice in the week. The housekeeping service was good and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. What was noticeable was that, although the hotel was busy, a calm atmosphere remained throughout. Staff were always polite, courteous and efficient - and invariably smiling!
The gym is not air conditioned which is needed for it to be used for most of the year in Tenerife. This may be a disadvantage. On the other hand, evening entertainment is provided, which usually consisted of a singer or an instrumentalist.
The food choice, I would argue, was better at breakfast than dinner although it was always possible to find something to eat at dinner, and I accept that everyone's choices are personal. One (minor) issue for me was that the juices on offer at breakfast were not fresh (even though the machine said 'Taste the Freshness' on it in large writing) and I think that's a missed opportunity on the hotel's part to elevate the breakfast a little, particularly in a country in which fresh fruit grows plentifully; I can't believe a 4* hotel in Tenerife cannot offer fresh orange juice to its guests at breakfast. In the scheme of things, though, this was not a major problem.
The hotel is probably one of the top end 4* hotels in Tenerife and, as such, will tend to cost more than others. If you like quite a peaceful, relaxing, holiday without children (it is adults only) together with a decent, although not exceptional, choice of food, I think it's worth the additional price.
As always absolutely amazing! This was our second stay here and couldn't ask for anymore. The rooms are extremely clean and the maids were lovely. The food was great, loads of selections for breakfast. The pool bar serves lovely food that caters all for a affordable price. The staff are very attentive friendly and helpful. Really looking forward to booking our 3rd stay! Would definitely recommend!
