We payed a premium to go to this hotel, two rooms and both rooms were terrible. Our balcony’s tiny but worse of all looked out into the back of the next door hotels air conditioning units roaring away 24/7. Woke up at 07:30 from the delivery truck delivering food every morning. Our stunk of cigarettes, the shower tray had a massive crack in it and the paint was peeling off the walls. When we complained they wanted £15 a day each room to move us.
Fabulous 5 night stay for my Mum (70) and I. We had a pool view room. Plenty of space and the bathroom was ideal. We did B&B, perfect for us, tons of choice for everyone. I did lots of research as I needed to be pretty central so mum didn't have to be gallivanting every evening and this is an excellent hotel for location. We went out walking and spent time on the beach every morning, had lunch in the gorgeous bars and cafes all within a 10 min walk. Mum had a "nana nap" and I used the pool or went back to the beach in the avo. Plenty of beds and brollies (although it was term time - not sure about school hols tho)!!! Would I come back - Yes definitely. I would even travel solo if necessary here. Met lots of groups of ladies who invited me to join them while Mum was napping lol!!! Beach is 5* Hotel a 4* - great wee trip!
Just spent a week in Santa Ponsa and this hotel is so hard to sum up as parts are amazing and some parts are poor. Positives - the roof pool is one of the best in Mallorca amazing views adults only amazing views of the beach and the sunsets are stunning. Location is perfect right on the beach 5 minutes to the bars and restaurants great. Now the not so good the rooms are ok but our room just smelt of smoke we asked the reception to sort it but they really didn’t bother. I think most of the problem is people smoke on the balcony’s and leave there doors open so the rooms can smell really bad for non smokers especially just ban smoking in the hotel it would improve the rooms massive. Second problems walls are paper thin you can hear everything next door especially things you definitely don’t want to hear!! Overall the hotel is decent if they sorted the problems it really could be amazing hotel
Wonderful hotel, both breakfast and evening meal were very good. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Room very clean.
We had a multi-generation family holiday and the hotel and location suited all of our different wants. This is very much a does what it says on the tin place; they do it well and with a smile and attentive service. We rapidly got an eight seat table reserved for us at every meal (without asking, which was an appreciated touch) and the attentive service, despite it being buffet food, was never obtrusive. The food is the usual hotel chain offering, local dishes, European dishes and, certainly at breakfast, a heavy English leaning, although minus points for no black pudding. The bars were never crowded and the top floor infinity pool and bar area is for over 16s only, but there is a big, and empty, terrace one floor down so we colonised that. Overall the hotel is exactly what you would expect. Minor niggles; no bathrobes and the rooms are slightly tired, the maintenance chaps were a constant sight, and charging for water is extortionate, go to the supermarket next door!
