Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great location very handy to get to palma nova on local bus , easy walk into portals itself , opted for junior suite , very spacious modern, 2 balcony’s , beds were so comfy , decent size bathroom with powerful shower, pool area fab, good size pool and not to deep and such a lovely temperature, breakfast enough choice and tasty , along with food during day, lovely rooftop bar area , all in all a fabulous stay, would recommend and told return , only negative was no mattresses on sunbeds, did pay for Bali bed, don’t bother, so uncomfortable
Me & my husband had a 2 night stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. On arrival the ambiance is modern and fresh looking. Smells devine too, just like Le Labo Santal 33! Got checked in at lunch time after popping out for breakfast. Bagged a free room upgrade and felt very lucky. Seaview. Rooms are spotless and beds are very comfortable we had just as good sleep as at home. The ambiance is very nice lots of guests about and the drinks at the bar are reasonable priced, no long waits either. Pool area is maintained well and towels provided. Plenty of sun loungers we always got one. The breakfast was delicious and a good variety with some modern offerings too. Seating area is very pleasant in or out. Every staff member was cheerful and friendly. The changing room is right near the luggage room which is very handy. The price we paid is also very good value for the amenities, standard and location. My only suggestion would be that the pool music is a bit louder and not so sedate, I felt like I was being lulled to sleep so maybe a bit too relaxing. Also the sky bar isn’t open Mondays and Tuesdays which was disappointing because it is a wonderful addition to the hotel. We did manage to pop up for a quick wine before we travelled home. Ubers are silly money but the buses from marine land operate very well to go into Palma and even to get to the airport. The walk to the port and beach is only about 10 mins and helps to burn off the beautiful food and drinks! We would recommend a day trip to Palma, Welies restaurant in the port, sunset market, a beach day (walk over to XIO restaurant on the cliff for some lunch. This is a good 4 star hotel that performs well overall don’t hesitate to book.
We recently stayed at Tomir Suites and unfortunately left feeling disappointed.
Check-in was very slow due to a large hen party arriving at the same time. It took two members of staff to check them in, although only one appeared to be actively helping, which made the wait longer than it needed to be.
Our first room was next to the lift, making it quite noisy, so we requested a move. The second room was much quieter, but it was clearly in need of refurbishment and had several maintenance issues. The sliding bathroom door was extremely difficult to open from inside the bathroom, and the sliding wardrobe door repeatedly came off its rails.
On a positive note, the lunch food was excellent. There was a great selection, everything we tried was delicious, and the chicken Caesar salad was particularly good.
The pool area was also a highlight, with plenty of sunbeds available. The bar served good drinks, but service could be slow. Ordering drinks wasn’t too much of an issue, but having to wait a long time just to refill a water bottle became frustrating.
The staff were all friendly and did their best, but it was clear they were stretched and that the hotel would benefit from having more staff on duty.
Overall, while there were some positives, particularly the food and pool area, the maintenance issues, slow service and overall experience mean we wouldn’t recommend the hotel or choose to return. It’s a shame, as it has the potential to be much better.
Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was great - different options each morning. Room was nice & clean, beds comfortable. Pool bar drinks on the pricy side but is expected due to the hotel being a 4 star. There is a rooftop bar where the views are amazing. You could purchase a hotel water bottle at €15 and you can get it refilled any time for free. Pool towels were available, no need to bring your own. Quiet location - have to walk a bit to find bars/restaurants. Supermarket just round the corner from the hotel. You can walk down to the marina (Puerto Portals) for lovely scenery but bars/restaurant on the expensive side. A taxi is only €10 to Palmanova and takes around 10 mins.
Room, pool and amenities great but the bar and restaurant service was appalling. Ordering a drink at the bar took on average 15 minutes despite many staff working behind the bar and the restaurant was even worse! An hour and a half for any food to be delivered and drinks had to be chased up because they were just forgotten about. When the food did arrive it was cold.
Avoid for meals and drinks but a good base for non drinkers.
