This wonderful hotel enjoys a peaceful location not far from the yacht harbour of Portals Nous. The airport is juts about 20 minute car ride away from the complex. Within walking distance, guests will be able to reach the closest sandy beach in the area, which is also very close to the town centre. Guests will also be able to find a variety of boutiques, small shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, as well as convenient public transport links. If they prefer to explore, the city centre of Palma is a short car ride away, there are several local and international restaurants, cafes bars and many shopping opportunities as well. If the plan is to stay in, travellers can choose resting by the side of the outdoor pool, having a refreshing swim, eating delicious food in the restaurant or relaxing in the spa. The comfortable rooms are decorated with vibrant colours and are equipped with cosy beds and all the essential amenities to have the most pleasant and unforgettable stay.
Great hotel generally. I have stayed here multiple times over the past twenty years. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. The public areas are again spotless and well kept. Check in quick and informative. The breakfast is good with a wide choice. All the staff around the pool area were very good as always. Pool towels were provided and can be exchanged everyday between 10-12 with the lifeguard. Unfortunately whoever signed off on the redesigned of the main outdoor swimming pool have detracted from the overall experience. The area around the pool is fine but the oddly shaped design of the pool bottom is awful. The overall depth of the pool has been reduced and in my opinion is no better now than an oversized child’s paddling pool. So no five because of this.
When you book directly with the hotel you receive confirmation of an upgrade with views. You then receive a standard email offering an upgraded room for an additional €60 per night which we paid. We received the same confirmation email offering what’s included. On check in we were told we had received a complimentary upgrade to a room with views , I explained I had paid for an upgrade as I had already been offered a room with views I thought I was upgrading to a better room, the receptionist LAUGHED and said there were no better rooms ?? I had been given the same room I had already been allocated for €240 less on my original booking . Please note all rooms face the same way overlooking the swimming pool and only on the top floor you can just see a part of the ocean , every room has the same views. Trust me , the hotel can only apologise and offer no refund or credit for any future stay. Just an apology for the misunderstanding. So save your money on the upgrade , do not be cheated like we were. Unfortunately , the hotel is very clean , and has been upgraded to a very good standard and all the rooms are nice, this sadly has left a very bad feeling for us.
Brilliant few days at this hotel with my daughter. Upgraded to a top floor with view and room was early ready. Nice receptionist and gave us pool towel cards and explained a few things about WiFi, breakfast etc. Room was lovely - clean, air con fantastic and beds comfortable. Plenty storage and mini fridge perfect. Pool area was great - lots of sun loungers and no need to get up early to reserve thankfully. Pool was warm, quirky layout but we liked it! Not too busy either and very laid back atmosphere around the pool which was nice. Breakfast was also quite chilled - could sit in or out and plenty tables to choose from. Good choice too, no complaints whatsoever. Lovely area - easy to get to Marina out back gate and short walk downhill. Uphill coming back, not so much! Some lovely restaurants and bars around the hotel area which was great. Nice walk to the beach - very hilly/lots of steps but gorgeous view point. Beach really busy. Honestly loved our stay, will definitely be back and have recommended this hotel to others already.
Just before we left to come to this hotel I came to this page, and boy did I panic reading the negative reviews! But I needn’t have worried. The hotel is great. I think reviewers are expecting 5* out of a 4* because I have been to way worse 4s. Breakfast is great, omelettes to order, massive selection of hot and cold. They vary the offering slightly each day to keep it interesting. Never have to wait for a table to be made as they are on it. Room spotless and well appointed. Service across the hotel great. (Javier on reception was so helpful recommending a boat trip, and then helping us extend our stay when my son developed an ear infection). Plenty of beds by the pool. 2 bars open by the pool so you never have to queue for a drink or ice cream. It would have been nice to have some evening entertainment perhaps but we went out every night so didn’t matter. The one negative reviewer I agree with was the one who complained about the English. I’m English and I found many of the English annoying! So loud, shouting down across the pool, shouting down the corridors at night. The area is quite fancy and I noticed that a lot of the restaurants we ate at, that we had lovely dinners at, were rated 3/5. I would say our standards are fairly high but we honestly felt like it was great. Go in expecting a 4 and then I don’t think you will be disappointed, we loved it.
Room was a lot smaller than expected. Shower over tub with screen glued in place not easy to access. Breakfast average, juice basically coloured water with two Nescafé machines serving the entire busy restaurant. Pool bar serves splash sodas (not cans/bottles). No coffee machines in rooms just kettle and instant Nescafé sachets. One English tv channel poor reception. The Balinese sunbeds at the pool are an additional €20 per day. I’ve been coming to Majorca as a child and a parent for many years. Will I be back to this hotel? No.
