The Paradiso Garden is a hotel located in Playa de Palma. The hotel offers modern rooms, restaurant with dietary options, spa, outdoor swimming pool with bar, facilities for cyclists and golfers, entertainment and various events that are carried out during the season. Breakfast is served buffet style followed by brunch at lunch time and a la carte dinner. The Paradiso Garden has 147 rooms with full bathroom, balcony, terrace or garden, telephone, free Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, air conditioning, heating, mini bar and safety box. The hotel is located in the quietest area only 200 meters from the beach. The distance to the airport is only 5 km and to Palma city 9 km. There is a bus stop 50 meters from the hotel with buses to Palma every 10 minutes and to the airport every 30 minutes.
An honest review! The location is convenient – not far from the airport and close to the sea (a 5-minute walk). The room was new and clean, with high-quality and regular cleaning, but we ran out of shampoo quickly! The hotel grounds and swimming pool – there’s hardly any outdoor space; the pool area is small and not very comfortable, as is the pool itself. Food – a major downside: limited choice of dishes, and the menu is very monotonous! Breakfast is a buffet. Dinner is à la carte, with a limited and monotonous selection of dishes. On the plus side, there was gluten-free bread, but you constantly had to ask for it, and they’d only give you one roll, sometimes two if you insisted strongly (I have a condition that means I can’t eat anything containing gluten! I felt uncomfortable having to ask for just one or two rolls each time; I had to wait up to 10 minutes, which was a bit humiliating! The food is the hotel’s weak point. The spa has two saunas and a swimming pool – small, cosy and pleasant! Another major downside was the rowdy hotel guests who were getting drunk and making a racket late at night, disturbing my sleep! I wouldn’t stay at this hotel a second time! I have plenty to compare it with, and for this price range I’ve stayed at hotels with higher standards of food and service!
So impressed by this hotel and their lovely staff members who went above and beyond our entire stay. I visited for a wedding, mostly picking the hotel for location, so was pleasantly surprised to also have such a good experience - from checking in with super friendly receptionists, to the phenomenal restaurant and bar staff, to cheerful and helpful cleaners and gym/spa staff - really everyone we encountered across our stay. The restaurant is of very good quality with a generous breakfast included, and we also stayed on site for dinner several days as the price and quality was so good and the atmosphere really nice in the evenings often featuring live music. The pool area, while understandably busy, also had a really good atmosphere and everyone just seemed to be having fun. The guests seemed quite mixed - some friend groups on holiday, some young families, me with some older relatives - I think this added to the good vibes across the hotel as everyone was just really friendly to each other. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.
If you want to go to a suburb of Germany with an endless groups of VERY LOUD and drunk persons 24-7, you should absolutely go here! But if you want to go to Mallorca and enjoy a nice holiday, you should definitely go to another part of the island.
Hotel is lovely, clean and bright. Good facilities, SPA is great, lots of sun beds by the pool and no fighting over sun shade. Pool is open 10 - 7, towels provided by hotel for the loungers. 2 soft drinks and a beer is €13 at the pool bar. It feel like an adult only hotel, not many families staying.
Unfortunately the area lets it down as it is very close to the German 🇩🇪 party strip which is full of groups and quite intimidating, lots of groups and a real drinking, party vibe.
We did find a nice restaurant near by on the promenade - little Italy, great pizzas, you could share one between 2 of you.
The hotel is close to the bus route and it is easy to get into Palma, bus route 25. Easy to get to the aquarium too.
Overall a fabulous hotel, it’s easy to understand why it would be in the luxe collection.
Hotel is lovely, clean, good room size and plenty of chill out places to sit outside. We are a family of 3, child is 12, indoor pool is in the SPA and children under 16 can only use the indoor pool from 11-1 and you must book with reception. Another unusual rule is you cannot bring in any alcohol, you can only drink their alcohol from the bar, so no sneaky beers on the balcony! Breakfast is until 1, good selection and nice coffee. I agree with the other review, avoid Playa de Palma, it is full of hen and stag parties and very drunk individuals day and night, rather scary for a 12 year old to witness. Local bus service is good and easy to get to Palma and back. Click the QR code on the door key card for useful local info. Value - this holiday cost a lot for the 3 of us for 4 nights and because the local area isn’t particularly nice it means it costs quite a bit to travel so value isn’t as good as it could be.
